Edward watches the young girl walk in and out of the office in a flash. She was a contrast from the other one.

"Ah, yes, thank you kindly," Syd said, taking the report up from his desk.

Everything looked good. Nodding approvingly, he looked up and she was gone. He put it into the folder marked for the department and set it in the "to do" pile.

"Guess they'll need to get into a new assignment," he said to himself, but if Edward commented, he didn't mind.

"What department is she in?" Edward hopes she's in the auror department. He would like to have some sane co workers."

"Counterfeit spells," Syd said, searching his desk drawer for post-it notes.

Giving in, he used a charm to stick a note on the pile to remind him that everything in it needed to be sorted out.

"Why do you ask?" he saids, looking up from the papers.

'Just curious. I'm glad to see there are a few sane members in the department. Now, didn't you say you need to send someone to the Minister of Magic's office to arrest him?"

"Arrest the Minister?" Syd asked, laughing. "I wish sometimes we could."

He tapped his desk with his fingers and shook his head before starting again, "No, no. I'm just getting a team together for security at his wedding."

Forrester nodded on the department head office and entered.
"Sorry Mr. Wordsmith but we have another situation..." Forrester started before looking up and noticed an older man in company of his boss. He quickly recognized the man as Edward Lestrange, a former companion of Forrester and one of his teachers...
"Oh Mr. Lestrange, what brings you here?" Forrester asked as he got closer to his old mentor and extended his hand for him to shake it.
"How long has it been since we last saw each other? I guess it's been from my last Auror training camp... How long has it been four or five years?" Forrester asked forgetting completely what he came here for.

"A human being I hope," Syd laughed as Forrester walked in. "Yes, Hufflepuff?"

He was expecting an answer, but it appeared that Forrester knew Edward. Now they were busy catching up and Syd was still in the dark about what Forrester needed.

Edward laughs at Syd's comment when he hears his name being called. He turns around and sees Forrester Hufflepuff. "Hufflepuff, it's good to see you." Edward stands and shakes his hand. "More like ten to twelve. You're looking well." Edward turns to Syd. "Forrester here was one of the first students I taught at the training camp, and one of my best I might add. Tucker is going to be thrilled I saw you." Edward sits back down. "Believe it or not I've been reassigned here. I don't know why. I'm sure the department doesn't need an old work horse like me if you're working here."[/color]

"Oh! Really... Well I can't wait for you to begin working back with me... I mean I have never forgot all this time that you defeated every trainee in that camp... I really will enjoy working with you" Forrester started.
"Oh but stop it... I mean in the end you are my sort of mentor" Forrester replied to Edwards comment.
"Well anyway Syd... I was inspecting the third department after I had that they had a security issue up there so to make a long story short there was this old woman that was able to put several witness under the imperius curse and convinced the jury that her charm was perfectly safe... But then she used that charm to turn the Experimental Charm office to a living maham... So I decided to catch the old woman and put her under arrest... She's outside tied up and I just came here to see if you wanted to confert the whole thing to a court and everything..." Forrester explained.

Edward would like to continue his conversation with Forrester, but he has business with Syd. Edward listen with interest to the case Forrester has been working on. "This old woman, she's just an ordinary witch? I mean she has no history with the auror's department. It seem strange that an ordinary witch would be able to use the Imperius Curse that effectlvely." Suddenly Edward feels out of touch with the auror world. The Camp was a safe haven for him when he needed one, but he's wondering if he shut himself off from the wizarding world for too long.

"Well I checked if the old witch had any other history with the auror department but none was filled... You're right on the imperius curse but in on the other hand, the mess the woman was able to produce was devastating... I mean the experimental charm's office is completely destroyed and half of the employees are terribly injured so I'm not that amazed by her ability to master such a curse..." Forrester explained as he looked at Edwards

Syd nodded to Forrester. Well at least they had caught the woman and her previous case was going to be thrown out. The judges were going to be busy today, but somehow, Syd figured it'd be good for them.

"Well, we'll have to round up some witnesses and get a judge ready. You said it happened on level 3?"

"Well yes she was working alone that's what the division head told me and for the witnesses well we have a great number of them on the third floor? And I know that a judge isn't hard to find but I was wondering if I can watch the trial?" Forrester asked.

Zoey knocked on the door and then openned it slowly. "Hello... sir.... My name is Zoey Cambridge and I was just hired into the misuse of muggle artifacts. I was just wondering what you would like me to do?" Zoey has always been such an overachever and all she wanted to do was impress her new boss.

"Right. Hufflepuff, you were the one who caught her, correct? You'll have to testify if you were. Bring her to the evidence room and post a guard there with her and then bring at least three witnesses in here," Syd said, sitting up.

He saw a young woman enter the room and looked toward her. Another person reporting for duty it seemed.

"Miss Cambridge, yes? I need you to run over to the Wizengamot and see if any of the judges are there and ready. If there are, tell them I said a case has come in and we need to prep a courtroom for it," he told her.

He looked back to Forrester and nodded. Finally. Something more than paperwork had come up.

Edward watches another employee enter the office. "Excellent work, Forrester. If this was a class assignment, I'd give you an 'A+'. Mr. Woodsmith, is it alright if I call you Syd? Would it be alright for me to sit in on the interrogation and trial? It's been a long time since I've been an active auror. Teaching is one thing, but actual field work is another. I need to get the old brain cells working again."

"Very well Syd... I will do that immediatly" Forrester said as he walked towards the door. "Miss Corranda... I will need you to come with me now" Forrester said as he took out his wand and flicked it and watched as miss Corranda was levitated in the air and was following him.

BAH! HUMBUG!

Miss Corranda, I will need you to come with me now. BAH! HUMBUG! How dare he! The silencing charm Brianna had cast on her was beginning to wear off and Corranda, with the antlers produced by Royda's hex still on top of her head, could feel it.

She opened her mouth - but no sound came out. So that charm had not fully worn off. Corranda knew it would be no use trying to speak so, just to make sure she still made all of their lives miserable, she struggled and spat and spat and struggled.

- Stupid Ministry people. Bah! Humbug!

Syd rubbed his face a bit and watched the woman angrily float away with Forrester. He sat back down and folded his hands on his desk, waiting for the witnesses to come in.
