This office is brightly lit with several pieces of equipment strewn about desks and work tables. Boxes of items are scattered around at several desks and at least one closet door hangs open, showing the myriad of magnifying glasses, microscopes, measuring tools, and all the whatnot needed to evaluate items and bad magic.

Posters line the walls of common spells used by mediocre magicians while others have diagrams of common items that are often made by dark dealers. There are even a few banners and posters from various companies that are sent over with the goods that those in this room examine as gifts for doing such good work- or to try to soften up the inspectors.

Fun. The offices she loved. Becca looked around with a sigh and sat on a desk just inside the door, waiting to greet the people who would be coming in.

Anna was new to the office she was nervous but a bit excited too for her new job. As she did not work anywhere else before this. She knew that this would be a whole lot of new experience for her and she could learn new things. As she entered the room she saw a girl already sitting on one of the table, so she greeted her by saying "hello, are you new too, I'm Lucy".

Catlin walked into her new office, she still couldn't get over the fact she was now a division head, on entering she saw two people. "Hi Becky, what you doing here?" She smiled widely at her friend sat on a table, the other she did not know so gave her a friendly smile "Hello there I am Catlin Scuto the division head for this office, how are you?"

"Morning, and no" Becca smiled "I'm the ex-division head for this office and three others.." she shook her head. The 'Ex' sounded so wierd!

Mmm. Again.. time to go "Hey, Catlin... you got the job, huh?" she smiled and then looked around again "I was just... saying goodbye to the office... wanting to see who took my place.." Becca looked down at her feet as they swung under the desk and then sighed contently "Well.. it's all yours now Catlin.. I'll be around, remember" Becca smiled before walking to the door glancing around hte room again "See ya" she smiled.

"Ok, that’s a bit strange to me I didn't hear of that before, but nice to meet you." said Lucy to her as she was new and did not actually know about that at all. Nevertheless, she hoped everything would be fine.

As Lucy was talking, she saw a new face once again, “Hello, I’m Lucy” she replied to Catlin “You are a Division head too. It feels like I am the only one new in this office, there are more to come right”

"Well that would be me" Catlin smiled at her friend, "Enjoy the new job sweetie, See you around"


Catlin looked around at her new office and nodded at Lucy "I really hope there is more then just us two" She laughed and walked towards her desk "So how long you worked here?"

"Don't worry about it" Becca smiled "Nice to meet you too, bye" she glanced around the room again, but now holding the door in between her hands.

"Congratulations" she smiled and nodded, genuinely happy for Catlin "Yeah, see you around" Becca grinned and left, almost running down the hall to meet Brian.

"Bey, are you leaving so soon". said Anna as she saw Becca leaving.

"I'm new this is my very first job hope so every thing would be fine here, and nice to meet you, do you enjoy working here. What do you like the most in this job". Said Anna wondering what would she say.

Lily walked into the office, wondering the what kind of people she was going to meet. When she walked in, she noticed 3 women already talking to each other. She introduced herself to the others.
"Hello. My name is Lily Willow. I'm new to the department. I used to work in MLES. And who might you be?" she politely asked the other ladies.

"Hello Lily, I'm Anna and i'm new too, it's just the three of us here and there might be some more to come, MLES never heard of that before, Well nice to meet you, hope you like in here", Anna replied to the new girl in the offfice.

"Nice to meet you, Anna! Just the three of us, huh? Well, I'm sure they'll have some work for us sooner or later. You never heard of MLES? It stands for Magicla Law Enforcement Squad. I loved working there, it was definitely exciting. But I got transferred here, so I will have to adapt. So, what made you want to join the Ministry?" Lily asked Anna.

"Hey, that was just to have fun, thought you would understand, i joined the Ministry because it's great to work here, i love this place, so what about you, why did you join the Ministry" replied Anna.

"Oh, I always wanted to work in the Ministry, ever since I was a little girl! My dad used to be head of MLES, and that's why I asked to be put in there. I loved the action. Not that there isn't any action here...yet," Lily joked.

"Oh! you love action, thats great, i too like action, hope we get our work soon, it's really great to be in the Ministry, we get to learn so many new things here, and also to be incharge of law, i like being a leader in any task, it great to see others following you and also to help them when in need we can always be a guide for them, i really don't want to be tranfered anywhere else, i just love being here. Hey, thats alot about me, so tell me something about yourself, i would love to know.

"Oh, no I love hearing about other people! But I'll tell you something about me. Hmmm..." Lily tapped her chin as she thought.
"Well, I was in Gryffindor House when I was at Hogwarts...What house were you in?" she asked Anna. "That is, if you went to Hogwarts."

Oh!! did you mean that you only like hearing about other people, but i love doing it myself it's great fun maybe you should try it. Yes, i was in Gryffindor too, and also that i went to Hogwarts, But that's sad that we never met each other. OK, so tell me more, that is if you have anything to say.

Anna seemed very intested in Lily's life, so she decided to elaborate.
"Well, Anna, if you want to know about my life, then I'll tell you!" Lucy said as she grinned. She sat down in a comfortable chair, and beckoned Anna to sit in the one next to her's. They might as well get comfortable--it didn't look like they were getting any work soon.
"Well, I was actually born in Scotland, in the small town of Skye. So, I'm really a country girl at heart. I tended sheep when I was little and my patrents owned a small cottage in a big area of fields and hills. I moved to England when I got the letter from Hogwarts--my parents couldn't imagine being that far away from me when I was at school. I was in Gryffindor, like I said, and I was particularly good in Charms. It was probably my favorite subject, other than DADA. I graduated from Hogwarts with honors in Charms, DADA, Transfiguration, and Ancient Runes. I was one hundred positive that I wanted a job in the Ministry because of my dad--he used to work for the ministry while we lived in Scotland. I loved the stories he would bring home about warlocks, escaped prisoners, and all the bad people he helped catch. I really owe it to him.
Currently, I am residing in England, but I hope to go back to Scotland and recreate my life there," Lucy stopped there and looked at Anna, hoping she hadn't bored her with her life history.
"Well, that's quite enough about me, let's hear about your you!" Lucy exclaimed, laughing.

Catlin had wanted to wait for more people to arrive in the office before explaining their assignment but it seemed that this was it for the moment so decided to start.
"Okay Anna, Lily it appears that we are the only ones at the moment so we should make a start on our assignment. As you are aware the world cup is coming up and there has been someone trying to sell travelling cloaks with counterfeit spells interlaced in them, it is our job to have a closer inspection of them and try to not only find out what spells have been used but also a way of removing them"
She then passed over a couple of cloaks to the ladies before adding
"Of course i wouldn't advice putting them on ourselves just in case"
She gave a slight smile and placed another cloak in front of herself

Lily listened to Caitlin eargerly, and took the cloak from her. She started examining it immediately.
"Well, what exactly happens when someone puts them on?" Lily asked. She felt like she needed more information before she could crack the case.

Catlin felt so stupid how could she have forgot to mention what happens to the wearers
"Well the reports say that once you put them on they make the wearer immobile which means the only way to remove it is to try and shake your whole body to dislodge it"
Listening to herself as she spoke she hoped it all made more sense then it sounded to her. The last thing she wanted was to make a fool of herself on her first assignment as a division head

Oh!! so our first assignment, great, sad that only we two are only to start, yes the world cup is up, i'll do my best to have a closer inspection of them and find out what spells and also a way of removing it. Yes, it seems quit difficult to remove it after wearing, is'nt it. So should we start with it right away or wait for the others?

"Its best to get started straight away" Catlin gave the girl a smile trying her best to disguise the worried look on her face due to lack of staff in her office "We will have to do what we can on our own"

Lily inspected the cloak, turning it over in her hands. She could not notice any differences on the cloak that made it different from a regular cloak. So, she decided to try it on.

"I know you said not to wear it, Caitlin, but I feel like that is the best way to find out its qualities and understand it. Plus, you said that all someone has to do to regain mobility is shake themself."

Lily put on the cloak slowly and could immediately feel the effects. She was completely immobile. She could move no part of her body. She tried to shake, but it was impossible because she was immobile. Finally, she put her whole mind to it, and her body became mobile.
She turned to the other two as she took off the cloak.

"Oh, wow, that was weird. It's really hard to shake the cloak off after it makes you immobile! I'm guessing there must be some kind of Immobilis spell on it--and what is the best way to reverse an Immobilis spell?" she asked the other two as she smiled knowingly.

Anna was looking at Lily as she put no the clock, wondering nothing happens to her, suddenly she saw her whole body getting immobile, she wanted to help but couldn’t do anything that could get her to normal, but she knew Lily is strong and would definitely do something to get rid of it, and Anna was right, Lily got out and finally removed the clock off her.

“Oh!! Are you alright Lily, this is a very strange way to remove the clock after wearing it, it would seem quit difficult for the others to do that, do we have some other way of removing the clock like instead of shaking the whole body, because I think it would be very difficult for the others to do that” she said intensely.

“How do we find the right spell to immobile it?, well this is a great problem we need to do something as fast as possible and also to take care as there would be all world cup preparations going on all around”.

Anna took the clock in her hand and started inspecting it so that she could find some way in or around the clock to immobile it. Hoping to get the right way to solve this problem and helping the others from getting immobile.
