Nathan, now in a rather deep sleep, and completely oblivious to where he was, or anyone around him, started to snore softly and mutter incoherently to himself.

He snorted loudly and woke himself up with a start. It took him a few minutes to realise where the heck he was. He looked around, feeling a little embarrassed. Luckily it was pretty quiet in here.

He yawned and stretched and blinked a few times trying to wake himself up. This just wouldn’t do at all. He looked back over at the young woman. A chat would keep him awake… hopefully. “You work in Law?” he asked having never seen her before. Although Nate was very new here so that may explain why. “Which area?” he asked with interest.

"Yeah i'm part of the misuse of muggle artifacts area." Zoey said. "What about you?" She straightened herself up in the chair. She wanted to look proper.

“Ah excellent.” Nathan replied brightly. “I’ve always thought that would be a very interesting job. What are you working on at the moment?” he hoped he wasn’t being nosey, but it was nice to meet someone new to talk to, especially about muggles - he had already bored everyone to death in his own office on that particular subject. “I’m Nathan by the way. I work for the MLES.” He extended his hand in welcoming. “What’s your name, love?”

"Zoey, Zoey Cambridge" Zoey said as she took Nathan's hand. "Im not really working on anything right now. Just tying up some loose ends. Which seems to take forever."

“Nice to meet you Zoey Cambridge.” He gave Zoey a warm smile as she introduced herself. “That’s always the worst part of the job ...and often the most time consuming.” He replied. “How long have you worked here?” He was starting to wake up properly, thanks to Zoey, but his head was now thumping away (not very) happily. When would this day ever end? He was stuck in his very own version of Groundhog Day.

Nathan grinned, “It’s my first day. …and the longest day of my life.” And, the MLES still had a load of evidence to go through on the Flooing case before he could even consider go home. He sipped at his coffee and pulled a face. It was cold. Cold Ministry coffee tasted even worse than the hot stuff… if that was possible. He glanced at Zoey’s summoned tea. Perhaps he should stick to that in the future instead of torturing himself. "Have you seen the Magic is Might fountain on the eighth floor?" he asked conversationally.

“Well, I was up there earlier and it’s been vandalised. Someone’s chopped the head off the wizard.” He could feel the corners of his mouth curling up into a smirk again but promptly stopped himself… this was serious. Egypt said so, so it must be.

It suddenly occurred to him that he probably should not be discussing such matters with anyone outside the MLES - if they were going to be investigating the case. He stood up, aware that he had already overstayed his break by falling asleep. The nap had served no purpose at all, except to make him feel groggy. “Well… I must be getting back.” He said. “Pleasure to have met you, Zoey.” He said with a nod and a small smile. He made his way back out of the break room, leaving his cold cup of coffee behind on the table.

"It was nice to meet you too." Zoey said as nathan walked out. I've got to go see this Zoey said to herself. She looked at her watch and saw that she still had a little time. She picked up her bag and mug and walked out the door.

It was Steven Westaway first day on the job. He was exploring his workplace, trying to figure out where everything was when someone told him about this ' break room'. He hurried through the level until he had found it.

He did not enter the room. One reason was because their were 4 people in it. Two were arguing, they looked like a couple. Another person was getting some coffee while the other was sitting down waiting for the man who was argueing.

The other reason was because he was a bit shy. He waited, not wanting to interupt.....

Nicoli arrived in the Breakroom, Forrester's note in his hand. Nicoli couldn't fathom the reason for this urgent "talk", he glanced down at the note again.

Nicoli ruffled the hair at the back of his head. "The one with Mr.Flooing?" he asked knowing that it was a sore subject between himself, Amelia and Nathan. "That, hadn't gone as well as one would hope," he said quietly.

"Well," Nicoli paused trying to think of the appropriate words and failed, "He's insane. Destined for St.Mungos, however it just so happens that he has a few sane moments. From what we could gather, his wife was sent to St.Mungos, after something or another happened in the Department of Mysteries, and then she died. He was devastated. Caused him to hate all ministry workers and have a need for revenge. All he could think about was his 'Adeline'." Nicoli picked up one of the cups of coffee and took a tentative sip. Why did Forrester want to know this so badly?

"Hmmm I see... Well Nicoli what I really wanted you here for was for a totaly different objective... The first thing I wanted to discuss with you was this rumor going around that I'm trying to take over your job... I know it's stupid but I heard it and I want to check it out...
The second thing I wanted to discuss with you is a new way of work... I was thinking of fusing some of our cases together, trying to help each other... I mean in the end together we are stronger so what do you say?"Forrester asked as he took another sip of his coffee.

Alexa walked in. Dishevelled and annoyed her hand throbbing from the insane amount of paperwork she'd had to fill in. She walked straight into someone without realising.
"Oh Sorry!" Alexa lifted her head and looked at the woman. She was pretty young but looked extremely tired and looked like she'd much rather be somewhere else. Alexa half-smiled knowing exactly what this felt like.

Ray looked up as a new girl walked in the breakroom.
"Nicoli I will be back... If Im not mistaken... This is Alexa Black over there, a new employee that was supposed to arrive sooner but something seemed to have hold her down" Forrester said as he walked towards the girl that hit another employee.
"Alexa Black?" Forrester asked the new girl. "If yes... Well Im Mr. Forrester Hufflepuff, Head Division of the Aurors division... And we have been waiting for you... So are you Alexa Black?"

Egypt walked into the breakroom. She hadn't really done any work today, but if she sat in that office for another minute she was going to freak out. She saw a few people in there minding their own business and not looking up at her. She sighed and walked over to the refrigerator and grabbed a sparkling water. She was fascinated by that muggle invention carbonation. It made her nose tickle. She twisted off the gold cap and took a long sip.

She looked around and saw a cushy chair that was open and she sat down.
