Physical Description: Judge Doran is of average height size, 5’10’’, and is slightly overweight. He has long, grey hair and wears half-moon spectacles over his deep blue eyes. Judge Doran can always be seen wearing robes of many colors, blue and magenta are among his favorites, and a pointed wizarding hat. Most people claim that he is the “twin” of the former Chief Warlock and Headmaster of Hogwarts, Professor Albus Dumbledore, but the two were only friends.

Character: Judge Doran is said to be an extremely wise and intellectual wizard who may always be found studying on various subjects, especially in law and healing. While generally nice and exceedingly polite, Judge Doran has a low irritation threshold and can get angry in an instant. One of his other main faults is that he is somewhat unsociable, possibly due to the fact that he is always working and studying. Judge Doran is generally well-spoken of in the community, mainly because he is a very shrewd and wise judge and has brought justice to many people. His great respect in the community makes him quite a likable person.

Strengths: Judge Doran is an excellent and avid studier of law and healing. In Hogwarts, he was an excellent student who did well in nearly every class that he took (refer to weaknesses for exceptions). His power ultimately resides in his intellect, diplomacy, and strength of intuition.

Weaknesses: Judge Doran, while he did well in nearly every subject in Hogwarts, was not so good at flying and divination. He could never ride a broomstick properly, so, he decided to learn how to apparate well to compensate for this. His downfall in life rests with the fact that he can be too shrewd for his own good. Most people become uneasy around him, for they feel he is always analyzing them, trying to discover some deep secrets about them. He is also a very jealous individual and feels the necessity to be the “top” in everything he does. He is also his own worst critic, always condemning himself harshly for mistakes and stupidity.

Biography: Judge Doran was born into a muggle family in the United States of America at a date that is unknown to all except for his relatives and himself. He had a large family that was somewhat chaotic in the sense that most of the time, little to major fights occurred within. Judge Doran was always seen by his instructors as a very capable and down-to-earth person who had so much potential ahead of him.

In a few years after he was born, people started to see that Judge Doran had some awkward quality about him – unexplainable things would occur when he was upset, angry, or scared. At one point, a fire lit for some unexplainable reason on his wardrobe, which he claimed a ghost was hiding in. It wasn’t until he turned eleven that all things began to make sense. Judge Doran was a wizard who was bound to achieve greater things than anyone he knew could have dreamed.

Having been sorted into the house of the intellectual, Ravenclaw, Judge Doran took a great liking to the castle of Hogwarts under Headmaster Dippet and avidly studied his subjects, exceeding in nearly everything except for Divination and Flying. Professor Dumbledore, then the Professor of Transfiguration, would say that he was “an excellent pupil who was always prepared for further advanced studies.” As it was, Judge Doran was able to take his N.E.W.T.’s a year early because of his academic standing. He achieved top scores in nearly every subject.

Having graduated from Hogwarts early, Judge Doran went into healing, one of his most favorite areas of magical study. For about twenty years of his life, he worked as a healer in St. Mungo’s, five of those years as the Chief Healer. At the age of thirty-six, Judge Doran decided to quit his job at St. Mungo’s and take up law. By this time, his former teacher, Professor Dumbledore, had become the Headmaster of Hogwarts. For nearly ten years, Judge Doran worked as an attorney for the wizarding community and was characterized as very articulate, intellectual, and a great debater.

Then, calamity struck! Judge Doran was accused of aiding Lord Voldemort, a new and evil threat to the wizarding community by this time, by giving him inside information from the Ministry of Magic. So, for four years, Judge Doran went out of practice and set up a private healing clinic in his home and received few patients. By the time he turned forty-nine, Judge Doran was cleared of the charges against him and was proven to have never aided the Dark Lord by Professor Albus Dumbledore, who became Chief-Warlock of the Wizengamot. Realizing that Judge Doran had so much potential, Dumbledore appointed Judge Doran to a judgeship on the Wizengamot in the Ministry of Magic. The fifty-year-old judge would be described as shrewd, intellectual, diplomatic, and extremely intuitive.

Since the time of his appointment, Judge Doran has worked on the Wizengamot with Professor Dumbledore (his closest and best friend and colleague). When Professor Dumbledore passed, debates began over who was to become the next Chief Warlock of the Court. Judge Doran kept his eye on the position and many expected him to get it. Now, Judge Doran’s story will continue to unfold for itself in this RPG. See what becomes of the Judge and how his life progresses…..

Hiroshi Kiritani is new to the Ministry of Magic. In fact, he is new to all of England and the UK and to this side of the world for that matter. He was born in Osaka, Japan where he grew up most of his life with his family. He was a prefect and head boy at the Kansai Academy for Witches and Wizards graduating with high marks in everything. After school he went straight to work for Magical Law Enforcement in Japan. He moved to the UK because his little brother(Keito Kiritani, 5th year Ravenclaw) wanted to come to "Amercia" to study with their cousin, Sho Inagaki(4th year Ravenclaw), and their parents said Keito couldn't move unless he had someone come with him to watch over him. Hiro, loving him more that anything in the world, dropped his life to move with his little brother to "America"... Too bad they were mistaken and ended up in the UK not the US (you'd think kids as smart as them would have checked that out ahead of time). Background:
Nathaniel had the ability to do well at school but tended to be lazy in subject areas which were of little interest to him, or he felt were pointless. He failed Astronomy, Arithmancy and Divination abysmally. His report card often carried the words ‘Could Do Better’. He excelled, however, in Charms, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Transfiguration and, strangely enough, Care of Magical Creatures. All other grades were average.

Nathan is the eldest of five having four brothers and one sister. He went on a four year ‘hippy’ hiatus after his mother died, travelling both the wizarding and muggle worlds. He did various types of work in his travels, including working in offices, pubs and restaurants. He even spent ‘some of the best days of his life’ doing voluntary work with his best mate in the Dragon Reserve in Romania. He has never had experience of working for Law Enforcement but his quick mind together with his skill with a wand stand him in good stead for the tasks ahead.

Nathan was brought up with traditional pureblood values, but turned his back on these ideals as his eyes were opened up to the ‘outside world’. He now enjoys the muggle life, despite his upbringing, living alone in a small flat in London right in the heart of it all. His father severed all communication with Nathan after he left home and chose this lifestyle.

Personality:
Nathaniel is a quietly spoken man with a soft Edinburgh accent. Down to earth, humorous, independent, loves to meet new people. Social and communicative - is extremely comfortable in his own skin, but lacks confidence when it comes to his abilities. Somewhat cultured due to his travelling. Dark hair, green eyes and a pale complexion. Background:
Fredrick was born in merry olde England. London to be exact and not in St. Mungros as that would have made sense but a bit aways in the Leaky Cauldron Apparently he was the first baby that many there had seen born to someone who hardly looked pregnant as she drunk herself under the bar that night. It was a definite surprise to the barkeep who worked there and even more so to his father one of the busboys. His father (John Hull) had attended Hogwarts and was even sorted into Ravenclaw which one would not have known if they talked to him. Seeing as his father still worked at the Cauldron in the kitchen alongside the house elves who worked there as well. His mother (Catherine Hull) currently worked for the ministry a paper pusher down in the accounting office which is surprising as she was sorted into Ravenclaw as well. It seemed that he was decent from two of the dumbest Ravenclaw's around at least they had a quick wit which he inherited.

Fredrick was raised in London around the streets of Diagon Alley. Used to large groups of people in one place and was happy to return home to work at the ministry. As it had been a few years since he was in London. After leaving Hogwarts as he found it dull and the professors spent more time coddling his stupider classmates than actually teaching. The whole five years spent there were pure socialization which worked out well for him as he used to be very outgoing. A phase that passed as he got older and more serious about life.

After five years of Hogwarts he transfered to Drumstang which had a much more serious learning environment. Which he excelled in improving his grades emensly compared to his time at Hogwarts. He made a few friends there which he still owls on occasion and learned alot.

Lola hails from a prominent wizarding family. Her father was an Auror, her mother was an author. Likewise, great things were expected of her daughter. Lola spent her time at Hogwarts studying and proving herself. She was a prefect, then moved up to Head Girl.
