Brianna had been watching the woman closely, which was entirely natural given that this woman had had a lot happen to her in the past fifteen minutes. She watched as her eyes slid out of focus and a sleeping sort of blankness flickered across her features. Something is not right here, she thought to herself. "I'm sorry Royda, could you repeat that, I'm afraid I couldn't write quickly enough to keep up with you." She had her clipboard still gripped in one hand, where it had been for most of the morning. "Start right back where you started this time, please." She smiled encouragingly and raised her quill to the clipboard, but kept her eyes on Royda's eyes.

Shai smiled at both women, "As you like it," She said to Miss Melvicks. She then turned to Royda and smiled, "Well if you would like any more water or anything, please let me know."

Shai watched her boss carefully over her shoulder. She was also taking notes. Something was definitely wrong here, Shai thought, Royda seems to have been threatened or brought here forcefully. Shai looked up and met Royda's gaze after she was done speaking. She seemed a bit dazed. "Is everything alright Royda?" Shai asked after Brianna asked her re-asked her question.

Royda bit her lip, certain that she had messed up something. Slightly hesitant, she began again, "Corrandadada cast her spell on me -" Her eyes flickered - "I couldn't see her for, like, forty minutes after that. Not until I began to see one of her hands, that is. Then her other hand appeared, then the rest of her, all in one."

She paused, and placed a hand to her forehead. "I-" Then she smiled and shrugged. "Nothing worth mentioning, I guess."

Royda removed her hand from her forehead. She was feeling a little dizzy, today... However, she nodded in response to Shai's question. "Yeah, everything alright here, thanks."

Brianna stared hard into the girl's eyes as she spoke and notice that there was still a flicker, though it might have been just that she didn't like Miss Corranda very much. Brianna really couldn't blame her there, but it still made her slightly uneasy. She spoke quietly, "Was that the only time you've seen this particular charm performed?" Her gaze strayed over to Corranda to gauge her reactions to these questions, hoping to catch some hint of something--anything--that would be enough to keep from approving this charm. Doubts were all well and good, but she needed actual proof of subversive motives or dangerous charms to disprove a charm, and it didn't look like she was getting much so far, except the uneasy feeling.

Piper looked at both Corranda and Royda. This calm face... This confusion... She might be... But that is impossible... It is even out of law... Piper you have already messed stuff around... Can't repeat the thing two times... But that calm face... She never had a calm face... And the other, she looks so confused..." Piper thought but she prefered to stay silent. You have done too many mistakes... One more and you will surely get fired... Piper just shut u..."
"I guess miss Corranda we still need you to practice the spell, or isn't it necessary miss Brianna?" Phoenixis asked hoping that her boss would approve. I will found out the bottom of this... One way or another...

Brianna accepted the explanation from Royda and nodded. "Well, if she's seen the spell three times, and lived to tell about it, I'm sure that the spell can't be lethal." She paused and glanced back down at her clipboard, "Everything else seems to be in order here..." She bit her lip, pondering the situation, "Can you give us a simple test? After that, I see no reason not to approve the charm." She set down the clipboard and looked back up at Miss Melvicks. I can't believe I am actually considering approving this charm, Brianna thought to herself, allowing a flicker of doubt to cross her features, But there's nothing I can do, it's all legit. She sighed. It was her first day back from vacation and she already had a splitting headache.

Corranda glanced briefly at Piper when the latter spoke, then turned to Brianna, her face regaining some of its expression.

"Ha! I knew you'd have to approve it! And no thunkks to any of you about it, either." She stood up, whipping her wand out. Then she looked at everyone in the room, Royda included, before speaking up again.

"I guess I should just try it on Royda again, eh? I'm a hundred and nine, by the way, and you shouldn't argue with me about that," she added, loudly.

Shai opened her mouth then closed it again. She was looking at Jayden in disbelief. I cannot believe she just said that! Brianna gave her permission!

Shai felt she had no choice but to speak up. She whispered to Jayden, "Dear, Miss Brianna gave her permission to test the charm out on Royda. It is necessary, in order to, you know, see if we should approve the charm or not." She smiled mournfully at Jayden knowing full well they were both thinking the same thing, that Brianna could not be considering approving this charm.

Shai thought quickly, then said, "Should we get someone in here from Accidental Magic Reversal? You know, just in case?" Shai suggested, "You never can be too careful, right Miss Brianna?"

She brushed her hair back and waited for a response.

Brianna glanced at Miss Melvicks and opened her mouth to say that she would rather ask Miss Royda if she was okay with the test being performed on her when she heard Jayden tell her to put away her wand. Her eyes closed wearily, this was going to be a long afternoon. When she heard Shai explain that she had, in fact, given her permission to cast the charm, she opened her eyes again and refocused on Miss Melvicks. "If Royda does not have a problem with that, then I guess it is okay. We have the reversal squad just down the hall." Turning to Shai, she added, "Don't worry about getting them for now, but if something does go wrong it will be your responsibility to run down there and get someone, pronto. Okay?" She pressed her fingers against her temples, they were really pounding now.

This time, even Corranda was surprised. And not just surprised, either - for the first time since she had set foot in this office, Corranda was actually offended. Yes, offended.

- As if she had a right to be.

"Go wash your ears, my dear miss," she said loudly. "Your Head gave me permission." She snorted at the woman, and turned her back on her.

Royda looked at Corranda with large, surprised eyes. Then she nodded, and said to the room at large, "It's A-okay, honeys. This can't possibly be, like, the end of the world, can it?"

It couldn't - Right?

Corranda grunted, raising her wand. "No, it can't - Concealo Incantait."She said the words out loud, the tip of her thirteen inch long wand directed towards Royda. There was a puff of grey smoke, and then Royda winced, slightly. She turned to Brianna, and said loudly, "She can't see me now. Can you, Royda?"

Royda looked around the room, then made a sour face. "Where's Corrandadada? Aw, man, now I can't see her. Does that mean she's up to something sneaky again?"

Corranda glared at Royda. "Oi! I can still see you and hear you. Better keep that mouth of yours under control. I'm a hundred and nine, and you shouldn't pile up all sorts of baseless allegations on me, you know, thunkkkk you."

Brianna could still see Corranda quite clearly, so there wasn't any side affects to bystanders. She turned to Royda, "So you truly cannot see Miss Melvicks at all?" Her gaze slipped back over to Corranda. In fact, it was quite a well thought out charm, considering who had invented it. She tapped her finger against her chin. Though everything within her was roaring to say no to this disagreeable woman, she didn't have any basis to do so. And Corranda knew it. She sighed and waited for Royda's answer, this answer would decide the course of the approval or disapproval of this charm.

Royda turned to Brianna in a semi-perplexed way, as if half expecting Brianna to vanish from sight any moment, too. "Hey, I can still see you, man," she said finally. Then she added, looking in all four directions and pouting, "Yes, I really can't see Corrandadada. Corrandadada, where are you?"

"Nothing you should be worried about," Corranda shot from her end of the room. She was breaking her concentration, Royda. Corranda had never cast her 'Specific Concealment Charm' at the young woman in the first place. The Imperius curse, rather, under cover of her so-called, new, self-made charm. She was good at it, inventing new charms, excellent, actually - but not ones that were useless. Evil charms that recked your whole house, yes, but charms that could actually do something right?

Nope, loud and clear.

She turned to Brianna, eyes still on Royda who should have been able to see her but couldn't under the influence of her unforgivable curse, and spoke up, her voice loud as usual. "You want to wait out until the charm wears off? Or do you want to test the counter-charm as well?"
