"Then what would be our next move?" Piper asked

"Yeah that wording is strange. But maybe it is Madame Grau's clever way of driving us crazy. Perhaps he was using this charm to win back his ex, maybe she had a lot of blemishes and thought he could use it would win her back, or maybe he wanted her to use it to get back at her, meaning it would leave blemishes on whoever used it. Perhaps she had perfect skin." Shai said thoughtful.

"Alright, I think we've pretty much established that we cannot make a decision based only on the information provided in this file." She looked at the scribbled parchment she'd been taking notes on. "Our next move is action, I think we've decided that it is impossible to know whether this charm would be harmful or helpful, so I'll allow no one in my division to perform it to test it." She looked between the two women and the parchment on the desk. "Alright, Piper, I want you to draft a letter of request to inform Mr. Newman telling him that we will need him to come in and perform this charm on himself. It is a safe environment here and there is the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad here on this very level so if he has produced a charm that is only semi-operative or is hazardous we shall find out then." She turned to Shai, "Before that letter goes out to him, I'd like you to do some more research into his background at Hogwarts. We don't have sufficient information and need to request more from his teachers. So you do whatever is necessary in that category." She looked between the two, "How does that sound?"

Shai smiled, "It sounds wonderful, I'll get right on it. Besides getting information from his teachers I'll also get some information from other classmates, and possible friends at Hogwarts to see what their opinions of Mr. Newman, also to see what his relationship was like with the ex before he found out she was snogging other boys. And from former professors I'll get how he performed in their classes and other things along that line. Sound good Miss Brianna?"

"Very well I will start writing that letter... When do you want him to be present in front of the committee and when you say something about checking his Hogwarts background what should we do exactly?" Piper asked.

occ: Should we like fake the respond letter that we will get from his teacher or ask the professors at Hogwarts now?

"Good, and it's also important to remember that this is a mock scenario as well." She added this so that the two wouldn't be off to Hogwarts researching someone who very well might not exist! "I'll add up everything after we've drafted it and all and send it to Madam Grau's office." Turning to Piper, she added smiling, "Give him one week to come before the committee."

Shai laughed, "Well of course not! And I should very well hope he doesn't exist, we could be ruining some poor man's life! I'll get on with the 'research'" Shai added taking her notes and readying herself to draft up her letters.

Shai laughed heartily, "Well I'll draft up the 'letters'. Would you also like me to fake responses from teachers?"

Piper understanding what she needed to do, got back at her office, got her quill and a piece of parchement and started writing.

Piper passed her to her boss for approval.
"Should I send it now or place in the outbox for now... And how do I call a owl here?" Piper asked Brianna.

"Okey I'm working on it" Piper said as she took the letter back and started to correct her letter.
"How about that?" Piper asked.

Shai grabbed her notes, "Alright boss, I'm on it, I'll get back to you with the letters and responses soon." She went back to her desk and started to draft the letters.

"How does this sound Miss Brianna?" Shai questioned as she handed the drafts over to Brianna.

Brianna nodded, "Very nice." She took the letter and put it in a new folder, the folder was going to be the return folder for the case and she wanted to keep everything together. She gathered the two pages from Shai and read them through, "Very nice as well. Now we have a response and a letter of question, I have the assignment list, and we know who is going to perform the charm. The only thing we have left to do is determine an outcome. I would like you both to weigh in on that." Brianna turned to Piper, "How is your first true investigative lesson going, are you understanding everything and how it is done? Or do I need to clarify anything for you?" She smiled, thoroughly enjoying working with her small team.

"No actually it seems really good... I mean I have understood everything and Im ready to take on a real task... Do you want me to draft another letter?" Piper asked, hoping that her boss will get proud of her eagerness to work so hard.

"Given the information, I don't think that this charm should be approved. He seems to be a slacker, and only gifted in producing charms, with no evidence of him ever trying to create his own charm, I don't think that this charm would work, and even if it does I don't think it'd work all the time."
Shai smiled.

"Well if Newman can prove that the charm is safe and that it will work on any regular or spread blemish well I guess I will approve it... I can't see why it would be a bad charm if it helps curing... It's just it's ratio of healing blemish and the safety of charm that worried me" Piper replied
