Shai took one last drink of her coffee and then levitated her cup to the trash. "Thanks again for the coffee Piper!"

She looked at her boss and said, "Of course I'd love to help! Just plop down a stack over here", she motioned to the desk she was going to sit in, "and I'll get started straight away!"

"Okey..." Piper replied as she took a look at the papers and files and started reading them, placing them according what they were. Her stack hadn't no Urgent files or papers... Just some Important and other forms. She kept on placing files and papers according to their type. A huge pile of papers and files that were noted important, was on her right. In the middle, two paper read "Urgent" and to the left, another pile of paper that didn't mention anything on them.

Shai started sorting through her papers. Wow, she thought to herself, there sure are a lot of random flyers in here...Used brooms for sale...tea leaf reading party...

She continued sorting and tossing out old flyers. In tossing out the flyers she substantially reduced the amount of papers on her desk.
Here we are. Now the real work starts! She thought to herself.

Shai ended up with 3 stacks on her desk, the smallest one being 'Urgent' and the largest one being 'Important'. There were even a few not market at all that she set off to the side of her desk. She began reading with the pile marked 'Urgent', which was only 3 files.

Shai started at the sound of someone else's voice in the room. She had almost completely forgotten that other people were in the room. She sat down the urgent request for charm approval and looked up at Brianna. Her stomach was starting to hurt because she was so hungry.

"Well lunch sounds wonderful! I am absolutely starving! Shall we go?" Shai stood up and stretched while her stomach growled so loudly it echoed off the walls. She laughed at this and said, "I think my stomach answered my question for me!"

"Yes I am actually" Piper replied as she stopped reading on folder marked "Urgent" but it seemed out dated but had some intresting stuff. "Where do you want to eat?" she asked.

"Perhaps there is something interesting in the cafeteria or the break room. All I know is I'll eat anything now!" She laughed, she hadn't been this hungry in a very long time. She mused it was because she had skipped breakfast.

"Well I don't have any problems" Piper replied. "So?"

"Well then let's head to the department breakroom. It's down the hall and to the right. Let's wait for Miss Brianna though." Shai replied to Piper.
"And I did bring a casserole today from home that I made last night, you and Miss Brianna are more than welcome to share. I brought more than enough for all of us!"
Shai smiled warmly at Piper.

"Thanks Im honored I will definitely try some of your casserole..." Piper replied as she smiled back at Shai. She started to feel the beginning of a new friendship with both women, her boss and her collegue.

Shai smiled at Piper. She was glad she could help in making her feel welcome. She let Piper go ahead of her out the door.
"Well ladies, it's nothing special just a bit of a noodle casserole. I made enough to feed an army! But we are an army, no?" She giggled.
"So did anyone come across anything good in their papers?"

Piper was the first one to get out of the office followed by Brianna and Shai. "Actually I came around some approval forms that were never answered, flyers and one of the files that said "Urgent" was something about a wizard using non-approved charms and he had a calling but no one seemed to have continued the file" Piper explained as they moved towards the breakroom.

Brianna nodded, "Yeah, those probably came in while we were out, nothing much we can do about those, just have to do them soon." She closed the door and flicked her wand at it. An "Out to Lunch" sign appeared and she walked with them down the hall to the Breakroom.

"Yeah I was hoping I can get on one of this cases?" Kelly asked her boss before she opened the breakroom's door.

Piper was pleased with the amount of work that was waiting for her. She eagerly took a paper and started reading it. It was from a man that wanted his charm approved. She read the paper a couple of time before thinking to herself. Interesting.. But I need to see what Miss. Brianna would think about it She left her desk and walked towards her head's desk.
"Sorry Mrs. Brianna... I was wondering what would your respond be towards such kind of charms?" Piper asked as she placed the letter under her boss.
The charm allowed the user to change the phase(Solid, Liquid, gaz) of an object with out changing it's ultrastructure or it's previous properties.
" I was thinking a demonstration of the charm would help a lot... Should I ask for him to come to the ministry?" Piper asked.

Brianna looked at the paper, frowning slightly. "Personally, I really don't like charms that change the physical nature of something. So I don't think I'd perform this charm. Yes, request for him to come in. Also, in your response to him, ask him to give you a more detailed explanation as to why this charm is needed and what it could be used for. In other words, what is the practical use?" She handed the paper back. "Be sure to check your spelling and use the department seal." She smiled, glad to see such eagerness as she picked up the next paper from the stack. Ah, paperwork, she thought and read the next request.
