Committee on Experimental Charms

"Good morning" Piper said as she entered the committee on Experimental Charms office. "Im Piper Underwood and I'm new here... Any help?"

Brianna smiled as Mona stopped by, "I'm doing great," she said lightly, "How are you?" She turned as Piper entered and welcomed her, "Hello there! I'm Brianna Fraser," She stood and walked around her desk, extending her hand. "It's nice to meet you, Piper. Just let me know if you have any questions or concerns, suggestions or ideas...Okay?"

"Hmmm it's nice to meet me... You must be Mrs. Brianna" Kelly said as she saluted her boss.
"Just a couple of questions... What Am I supposed to do now and what is the best way I can help?"

"Yep, I'm Miss Brianna, just like I introduced myself!" Brianna said, with a small laugh. She gestured at the desks, "Pick one! I've been gone on vacation for about a month, so I'm settling back in. I haven't had an opportunity to sort through everything yet," she indicated a box beside her desk that had papers neatly stacked in it, "Honestly, I'm surprised that the entire office wasn't in chaos when I returned." She smiled, "I'll let you know when something comes up, but for now you just get settled into your desk and get comfortable here. Any other questions?"

"Yes... Regarding our work... It will consist on what excatly?" Piper replied by another question as she moved towards a desk that needed a bit of repair and decoration. "I will pick that one" She said as she looked back at her supervisor. "Don't bother about fixing it I will have the honor to do it by myself... And if you need my help in filing this box, I would really want to help" she finished as she placed her small bag on her new desk.

"Yes I have... My illusion charm I created it back in my seventh year... I had a trouble in making it less painful for the target... At first, it felt like someone was taking out your eyes, but I managed to fix it... I can't remember the name of the person that check my charm here in the ministry" Piper said to her boss.

Brianna shrugged, "Well, it wasn't me." She moved back over to her desk, having spotted a paper lying under it, "I just started working here about six months ago, and went on vacation to help my mom. I just got back today." She was now under her desk, retrieving the paper. "Gotcha!" she muttered and sat back on her heels, "Hmm, it's another employee list." She glanced up at the board, "Why would they put two in here?" She shrugged and set the paper neatly on top of the box and stood back up.

Shai walked into the office in a hurry. She had been on vacation and had nearly forgot that today was the day she was to return to work. She kept checking her watch fervently on her way into the office. Immediately she noticed a new face, as well as her boss' face.

"Good morning Miss Brianna!" Shai greeted her boss, "How was your vacation?"

She then turned to the new face and introduced herself, "Hi, you must be new. My name is Shai, I've been with the Committee a year now. What's your name?"

"Hmmm... Maybe someone mixed it up..." Piper said as she moved to take a good look at the list. "Can I take a look at this?" Piper asked before taking her eyes from the list and looked at a new comer. An expert in the field? Good I can use her help! Piper thought to herself.
"My name is Piper Underwood... Nice to meet you! But I didn't catch your name!" Piper replied to the woman

Brianna smiled broadly as Shai entered the office, "My vacation was lovely! How was yours?" She handed the list to Piper, "Don't know why you'd want to read it, we're all here!" She laughed, "This is quite the small department, but not the smallest!" She leaned her hip back against her desk, "I can already tell that the three of us will make an excellent team." She said this confidently, knowing that they all had similar temperments and that their work ethic was about the same.

Shai smile at Piper, "My name is Shai. Shai Levy. It's very nice to meet you! What is you experience in the field?" Shai questioned, she was curious to know.

She then turned to Brianna. "My vacation was nice, but I felt it was too long! I really missed work!" She let out a laugh at this notion.

She then added to Brianna's comment, "Yes we are a small department, but I think it's best this way, if there were too many of us I don't think anyone's charms would ever get approved!" She laughed.

"Hi Shai.. Experience well, Im known here for creating a couple of charms of course I created more but some of them were turned down because they were a bit offensive... I'm happy I will be working with you guys" Kelly said as she placed the list on her desk.

Shai laughed, "We already act crazy! And yes coffee sounds lovely, lots of cream and sugar please!"

She smiled at Piper, "Well good then. You know about the other side of the process. That helps a lot. I'm so glad you're here! We needed a new helper."

She smiled broadly looking around the office and her boss and her coworker.

Piper smiled back to her boss. "Well coffee really sounds good... But let me get them." Piper said as she drew her wand and flicked it as soon as she was finished, three cup of coffee appeared in mid air and landed safely on Piper's desk.
"The one with the pink logo is for you Shai" Piper said as she grapped her, a brown one.

"How did you know I like pink?" Shai giggled at Piper. "Thanks so much for the coffee, it's wonderful!" She said after taking a sip.

She then turned to Brianna, "So boss, what do we have on the agenda for today?"

"Well it's a new charm I've placed before coming in the office... Like that we can skip the trip to the breakroom if we needed coffee... But if you need food well then I guess we will have to go there... I still don't know the charm doesn't work on food maybe it is because of Gamp's Law of Elemental Transfiguration" Piper explained to her boss. "And yes the charm has been approved" Piper finished as she laughed.

Shai giggled, "Well it sounds like we have ourselves an expert on creating charms, and most importantly getting them approved!"

She took another sip of her coffee and smiled. She loved her job more and more everyday.
