Shane walked town the stairs that lead to the courtrooms. She just wanted to look around, seming she was a member of the Wizengamont and knew that she'd be hanging around here quite a bit once cases started coming about. Merlin! She couldn't wait to get in there.

She walked around the corridor a bit, examining each of the doors with great interest. Not long, she thought, and you'll be in there yourself. She smiled and continued to walk around.

Shane turned on her heels. She had heard light footsteps coming from behind her. Someone was down here with her. But who? She looked up and noticed that the person was female. Hmm ... I don't seem to know her from Level Two. Must be from a different Level.

She smiled and walke over to the female. Might as well pass the time away talking with someone while I'm down here waiting, she though, not just feet awway from the female. "Hello, there," Shane said softly. "I'm Shane Dalton, from Level Two. Might I ask who you are and why you are down here?"

"Ah. I see," Shane said, with an odd look on her face. "Well, this place will be quite busy soon, seeming court trials will be coming up quickly, so remember that."

Shane looked away from Irene. There was another female in the corridor now! What the ... Shane smiled at the other female. Why is this place so busy now?

"Hello there," Shane said to the female that had just walked into corridor. "I'm Shane Dalton, from Level Two. Might I also ask why you are here and what Department you belong to?" Is this the person that Irene is meeting down here?

An Unspeakable. Great, I'm not going to get anything out of her, she thought. Shane smiled at both females. "Well, just don't stay down here very long. cases are about to begin, so us Wizengamont members will be all over the place here soon." She gave them both a quick wink.

"Nice meeting you both," Shane said with a quick wave. She turned on her purple heels again and walked down along the corridor. What are members of the Department of Mysteries meeting down here for? What's wrong with their breakroom? ... Just as long as they're out of the way when courtrooms open.

Egypt stepped off the lifts. She wanted to look businesslike for the trial but she just hated wearing black, so she donned a simple red robe with black roses ringing around the bottom. Her red heels clicked all along the corridor as she fell into a brisk pace. She held tight to her purse, that she had just bought from a trunk show by some muggle designer her sister had dragged her to the other day.

She didn't want to be late for court. She noticed another judge was already down there. Well aren't we the eager beaver, she thought. She smiled at the other women that were down there, not sure if they were in her department or not. She sat down on one of the benches and waited for tje trial to start.

Irene did not move, "It's okay." she almost whispered back to her, before adding, "Unless you think it best.", tilting her head to look at her more fully.

Egypt was waiting patiently for the trial to start. She was flipping through a muggle magazine called Vogue. She saw a girl buying it at a muggle market and she thought she could get the pictures to move so she could see the clothes better. They didn't move, the articles were still funny to read.

Shane looked over her shoulder as she walked back from the end of the corridor. She saw the new person (Egypt Riddle) in the Wizengamont team just down the hall. I know she's a member of the Wizengamont, but who is she? Shane thought as she walked over to the female. Might as well introduce myself.

She straightened her robes and clicked her purple boots together, making a light click, click noise. She smiled and held out her hand. "Hello, miss," Shane said, "I'm Shaen Dalton. I'm a member of the Wizengamont, if you haven't noticed yet." She smiled bigger, showing her white teeth. "I take it that you are also waiting for the courtrooms to open, is that right?"

Egypt looked up from her magazine, she was folding down a page with a picture of a dress she wanted to buy. She knew the woman from around the office, but she had yet to even talk to anyone in her department.

She flinched a little at the bright smile the woman gave her, someone was going overboard with the teeth whitening charm. "I'm Egypt Riddle, yes I've seen you around the office." She said smiling at Shane. "Are you as nervous as I am about our first trial?" She asked the woman, hoping she wasn't the only one.

Shane gave a quick shrug of her shoulders. "I am a bit nervous about the trial," she agreed, "But, you have to go in there prepared whether you're ready or not. ... I'm sure that we'll both do just fine in there."

Shane nodded her head and sat down next to Egypt. She looked down at the magazine she was holding with a puzzled look on her face. "What magazine is that? It looks nothing like our magazines."

"Well I hope so. I have been pouring over past trial transcripts for a few days just to brush up you know." She told Shane

She let the girl look at the magazine, "No its a muggle magazine. Its called Vogue. They just take pictures of clothes, and put them in here."

Shane looked at the magazine that Egypt was holing. A Muggle magazine, eh? she thought, flipping through the magazine pagrs slowly. She looked at the magazine, impressed. Muggles sure do have a sense of style now a days.

She handed back the magazine and smiled. "Yeah. Lately I looked at past court records and talked with Mr. Wordsmith about trials and such. I even had a little 'court session', if you will, with him. It was quite ... interesting."

"Oh really. I have not met the Department Head yet. Is he really nice?" she asked Shane taking back her magazine. "I haven't heard anything about the cases, I didn't want to get any preconceived notions in my head you know."

Shane smiled. "Yes," she replied quickly. "Mr. Wordsmith is quite nice. I am quite happy with him as our Department head. I hope that he'll be staying with us for a long time. He's quite friendly."

She looekd down the corridor. Still no sign of anyone that seemed to be involved in the trials or anything of the sort. Dang it! "Yeah. I got a bit too excited when I heard that some cases were starting. That's why I'm down here so soon." She quietly giggled to herself, seeing that she loved her job way to much.

IC: "Well I hope that i get to meet him one of these days." She said making a note to pop into his office for a chat one of these days.

Egypt knew what Shane was talking about she was too excited about the impending trials. "Yes I am excited to get going wit the trials. I hope that I am one of the first judges called, but I understand that there maybe some sort of seniority attached to that." She said gloomily
