Eve walked into the office where she now worked.She was new to this and she felt a little nervous.Her hands were a little dampand her hair was swept up into a messy bun,with some strands falling down her face.She looked around,admiring her new work place.

Blair strolled into her office, smiling as she made her way over to a desk that looked like hers. Upon reaching it she saw a little gold name plate that upon it waas etched

Blair Bancroft
Department of Magical Education - Inspection Committee
Blair smiled and ran her hand across the lettering. She quickly walked behind her new desk and saw a very comfortable chair. She nervously sat down and let go of a breath she didn't realize she was holding, somewhat startling her in the process. "This is it." Blair sighed and smiled softly.

Eve stood up,to see where the voice had come from.There,sat at a desk,was a woman.Eve smiled."Hello.."She said standing up and walking over to her.This was quite exciting for Eve,because this was one of the first colleuges she'd met

Blair looked up from her thoughts and noticed that there was another person in the room. She blushed slightly, embarrassed that she hadn't noticed her before. Blair stood up from her desk and walked around to the other side. "Hi! I'm Blair. It's nice to meet you!"

"This is it. I can't believe after all this time we're finally working. I feel old now." Blair gave a small chuckle. She noticed Eve had dark brown hair, it looked as if it could be the same color as her own. She was about her height, perhaps just slightly taller, and she looked very pretty and very professional. "I know. I can't believe after all this time I'm finally working. I feel so old now." Blair gave a small chuckle.

Eve also giggled."Yeh,I know..It seems only yesterday I graduated"She giggled again."Did you know theres only three of us working in this part?"Eve said.She quite liked the thought of having only three people working in this Department,somehow it felt like a tight,secure working place.It would be easier to have less people to remember and it would be easier to get alone with the other two collegues

Blair looked at Eve slightly surprised. "Only three of us? I thought that there would be more than that? It will be so much easier with only three of us. I absolutely terrible at remembering names!" Blair was slightly relieved at the thought of just having three people in her department.

"Hello everyone, and welcome to the Department of Magical Education Inspection Committee," Samantha said, entering into the area where the employees of the Committee were assigned. "Hello aqain, Eve, and thank you for stopping by my office this morning. For those of you who I haven't officially met yet I'm Samantha Rose, Head of the Department. I believe in teamwork very strongly, and so I encourage all of you to come and visit me at any time, and to let you know that I am always open to your ideas, as well. There is a suggestion box in the Department where you can place your ideas, or you may come and speak with me personally in my office.

At this time there are only three of you working on this Committee, though there may be more in the future, so each of you will have your own private office space. Enjoy it while you can, we may be hiring more people for the committee soon!"

Now, I want to make sure that you all know what it is we do here in this department. We are in charge of the inspection of the schools, making sure that everything is in tip top shape and meets the highest standards in the field of education, including the buildings themselves, the staff and the curriculum which we are teaching. Among the things you will be working on on this committee are responding to complaints of possible problems, filing reports, making recommendations and doing actual inspections yourself. There might be a time when you are sent to visit one of our schools to ensure that all standards are being met, which could be a bit of an adventure for you. I hope all of you like adventure?" She smiled.

"I also want to let all of you know that I will be having a little get together in a few days where we can all meet one another and you can ask any other questions you can think of. Refreshments will be served, of course."

Eve turned around to see Samantha come in.She smiled and nodded and listened to what she had to say.She was getting more excited by the minute.She glanced at Blair and grinned,Eve could see she was also excited
"Ohh a Get together..Id love to come.."Eve said nodding and smiling

"Excellent. I'm looking forward to seeing each of you there," Samantha said. "Again, welcome to each of you to the Department. You are all very highly recommended, and I know that you will do all do a wonderful job."

Eve grinned.She felt almost prud that she had been recommended to do this job,and it pleased her that Samantha had some much confidence in them.She nodded and smiled once again."Thank you.."She said

"You're quite welcome. And thank all of you for coming to share your wonderful talents here in my department." Samantha beamed at all the new employees. She knew they were going to all do her and the department proud. "Remember, all of you, never hesitate to come to my office about anything. My door is always open." She knew that establishing a good rapport with the staff was a very important thing.

Eve nodded.She wouldnt hesitate to go and pay Samantha a visit,maybe take her some more sweets over to add to her collection that she'd seen earlier that day

"It's been a pleasure visiting with you ladies," Samantha said before turning and walking back to her office. She left the area secure and happy with the knowledge that there were some excellent employees working on the committee.

Blair looked at Eve and nodded her head in agreement. "Yup. I wonder what we'll have to do first. That should be exciting." Blair couldn't wait to start working.

Samantha entered the work area, not finding anyone around she left this message for all the employees to read and returned back to her desk.

"Some of you may be aware that there have been recent problems at Hogwarts, namely the apparent suicide (or in any case, unfortunate death) of three students during the past two terms. The Division Head for the Offices of Improper Use of Magic and myself will be holding a meeting with all of you some time next week regarding legislation about safe spells and some type of application process for the creation of spells to try and ensure this kind of thing doesn't happen again. Currently, we are in the process of brainstorming ideas to ensure the safety of our students, so any ideas you come up with could possibly be useful. Should you have any questions or suggestions, please check with your Division Head, Samantha Rose."

Samantha knew that she had a bright group and that they were bound to come up with some good ideas.

Blair read the note in shock. She had not been aware of the suicide at Hogwarts. She wondered how she could have missed such important information. Especially about her old school. She and Eve would have to brainstorm ideas of what they could possibly do to help prevent such terrible things from happening again. She was nervous now, this wasn't what she thought her first assignment would be, but she would come at it head strong. Something definitely needed to be done, and soon.

Eve too read the note and was equally shocked.Suicides...at Hogwarts...how horrible she thought.Her and Blair would have toy work hard on coming up with some ideas on what they could do to help prevent this from happening again.This was there first assignment as a team,and they were going to complete this assignment with pride and success.

"Isn't this just horrible, we need to think of something." Blair said, "I wish we had our other co-worker here so we could brainstorm more ideas."
