As you open the door, you step in a rather nice & spacious office. There's a large desk at the end of the office with a large comfy chair in behind it and two (equally comfy, but not as large) chairs poised in front. There's a couple windows in behind the desk displaying some sort of sunny location, but Mr. Stryker is bound and determined to change that. There's a few book shelves containing every book about creatures known to mankind, along with a few that hide his favourite sweets.

If you've got a question, concern, request or just feel up to a chat, you've come to the right place. Make sure to knock though! Mr. Stryker doesn't take too kindly to people who just barge on in even though he tends to do it himself.

Katalin walked up to the door of Mr Stryker's office, she was going to chat to him. She knocked on the door and waited for a reply.

Violet walked up to Tetrus's old office. She'd heard that the Department Head had once again been changed, so she had decided that since she was a Division Head, it was best to introduce herself. She stopped to read the new name. Chad Stryker. She raised her hand and knocked firmly on the door. It was Violet's experience that the better you knew your Department Head, the better things went in general.

Chad, who was putting the last of the books on the shelves of his NEW office, turned around at the sound of someone...s knocking on his NEW OFFICE door. NEW. What a lovely word.

Quickly shoving the last couple books on the shelf, he ran around to the other side of his desk and took a seat in the pretty NEW chair. Pulling some sheets towards him to make him look important, he pulled out a quill and got settled. "Oui," he finally called. "Come in!"

"You first Violet, I just wanted to a chat!" she smiled at her head of department, she wanted to discuss about the two weeks she will need out for her honeymoon.

Violet stood up at the sound of a voice allowing them entry from inside the office. She then hesitated; she wasn't sure if she should go first.
"Thank you, Katalin," said Violet. That cleared things up nicely. She smiled back and headed into the office.

"Hi," she said. "I'm Violet Silvermoon. Head of the Beast Division. I heard we had a new Department Head and figured I should introduce myself. It's nice to meet you." She held out a hand for him to shake.

Chad smiled and stood up at the appearance of one of the workers in his office. Oooh, and she was one of his division heads? Even better!

"Pleasure to meet you, Mademoiselle Silvermoon," he replied, reaching out and taking her hand, giving it a shake. "I am Chad Stryker, you're new department head. I see us working together a lot in the near future...Us and the other two, of course," he smiled. "It's going to get busy."

Violet smiled (Mademoiselle, she thought, that's a first for me) and shook Chad's hand. "That sounds good. It's already been sort of busy. I have a question, though. What should I call you?" It seemed like a stupid question to ask him, but she was unashamed. It was something that might be important to know from the start. And anyway, Violet was good at asking stupid questions. "Have you met the other Division Heads yet?"

Chad smiled. "Uhm, you may call me Chad...or Mr. Stryker...or, OOH, my favourite: The Almighty One." He then snickered and took a seat in his chair, scratching his chin. "I'm kidding about the Almighty one. But, yes, Chad or Mr. Stryker is perfectly fine with me."

"Hmm, I have not yet met the others. To be fair, I just finished setting up," he smiled and shrugged. "Why? Are they hiding from me?"

Violet smiled. He had a sense of humor. "I think Chad will do fine." She sat down in a chair herself, suddenly aware that her legs were starting to fall asleep. "And you can call me Violet," she added.

Violet laughed. "Hiding? No. At least, not that I'm aware of....I just wondered if I was the first person you've met from level four."

"Violet it is," he smiled, ruffling some papers together before leaning back in his seat and getting comfortable. He chuckled gently and started to twiddle his thumbs, glad that his other staff weren't hiding from him. "Well, you are the first person I've met from this level and I say, it's an honour, Mademoiselle," he nodded. "In your opinion, how do you think this department is doing? Well? Meh? Crashing to the ground and burning?" Good gosh, he hoped not.

Violet leaned back in her seat and crossed her legs, watching her new Department Head closely. She wanted to see what he would be like. "Thank you," she replied. "Monsieur." Violet tilted her head a little, considering the question. "Well.....I wouldn't say we're crashing and burning.....but we seem to maybe be a little behind everyone else. And since I've become Division Head, so far both of our missions have been unsuccessful. But we are willing to try and try again, and that's a good thing, n'est-ce pas?" Hey, if he used French, so would she.

Chad smiled and nodded gently. "Hmm, not crashing and burning is good...but, hmmm..." He leaned forward and fiddled with some papers, trying to see if there were any left for him regarding these 'missions'. "Aye...perseverance is a good thing and I admire that. But, success is better and what we want." Gah. There were no papers left for him.

"If you don't mind me asking, what were these missions about and why did weren't they successful? Or, why do you think they weren't successful?"

Violet nodded. "Of course...I forgot that you might not know about them. The missions are about the centaurs in the Forbidden Forest. Somebody is taking too much wand wood. So far, we suspect it's either a wandmaker who has no idea what they're doing, or a Dark wizard posing as a wandmaker. In any case, the centaurs feel as though their home is being invaded, and that the forest isn't being treated with the proper respect. They're pretty angry. The first time we tried to go sand speak with them, they surrounded us and shot arrows into our midst. Then the second time we ran into a few werewolves and they were fighting....My opinion as to why we have been unsuccessful is that we haven't been organized well enough, and people haven't really been following directions all that well." She paused, giving him a chance to speak.

"Well, there's something easy we can do about the people not following directions," he said quietly, drumming his fingers. It was something he wished he didn't have to do, but he was a boss man now..so it came with the duty. "We'll have to try it again sometime in the future," he nodded.

Being the liaison to the Department of Magical Creatures, it was her duty to welcome the new Department Head, right? Sarah believed so as she made her way to the fourth level with her bag slung over her shoulder like always. Briefly acknowledging the people she passed by with a small smile and a little wave, she walked on over to the Department Head's office.

Standing before it, Sarah knocked on the door gently, waiting for an answer. Even though the man was a former liaison, Sarah had never spoken a word to the man before. So now... she would have to. Plus she was still unaware of the happenings that went on the level. She'd have to drop by more often in the future.

Violet nodded. "Yes....I suppose so." She pursed her lips thoughtfully. "It's important that we try and get back to the forest relatively soon, before something happens that we'll regret not being there for." she brushed a strand of hair out of her face, smoothing it down behind her ear. "Last time we brought gifts for the centaurs, but we didn't have a chance to see if they would have any effect. D you think we should try that again when we go back?"

"Perhaps," Chad mused gently, scratching his chin again as he though about it. Would Centaurs like gifts? He, personally, had no idea and it called for a bit of research.

His attention then turned from Violet to his office door as there was another knock on it. "Come in," he called, looking back at Violet. "We will definitely need to try another way of getting to the Centaurs again...unfortunately, we have another large matter coming up," he said, twiddling his thumbs again.

Violet looked towards the door as well. She hadn't even heard a knock. She must be sleep deprived. Or going deaf. She hoped she wasn't going deaf. That wouldn't be good.

She looked back to Chad. What other large matter? "We do?" she asked. "Um, what is it?" What had she missed? She hoped it wasn't glaringly obvious. Like someone's birthday or another international convention. Unless...did Chad mean the World Cup? Surely not. Hmmmm.

After hearing the usual 'come in', Sarah turned the door knob and opened the door, peeking in before completely setting foot in the office. Smiling widely, she gave the two people she saw before her a little wave. "Hello there... I hope I'm not interrupting, anything?" she said, questioningly as she shut the door behind her.

Violet looked over her own shoulder, turning a little bit in her chair, to see who was coming in the door. She gave the woman a smile. She seemed familiar. Violet was pretty sure that she didn't work on level four, though. "No, you're not really interrupting anything. It's fine. I'm Violet."

Chad retreated to his office shortly after the conference. Plopping down in his chair, he pulled some papers towards him and started mulling over things. Hmm, truly, how hard could it be to say that any and all creatures were not allowed to attend the Quidditch World Cup, the most prized competition to exist?

Chad sighed. It was extremely hard.

Violet paused outside Chad's office. She knocked lightly on the wooden doorframe and stuck her head into the office. "May I come in?" she asked. He already looked to be hard at work.

Chad looked up from the oh so blank sheets of paper out in front of him, up to his division head, Miss Silvermoon. "Mmm, oui," she smiled, straightening up in his chair, "please, come in...have a seat. Would you like a tea...or coffee? Or...something?"

Violet smiled. "Thank you." She took a seat, the same seat as last time. "Something to drink? Ummm, coffee is fine, I suppose..." She felt it would be impolite to refuse, even though she didn't particularly like coffee or tea. And anyway, she was very thirsty.
"Shall we get to work then?" she suggested.
