Jack had finally managed to get the new forms for the House-Elf division and got to the office to put them in place, he knew that there has been a problem with a House-Elf the last week so he needed to get everything ready in case something happened with that situation. He didn't notice there was someone in the room until he was placing the new forms in some folders.

"Hello, Ms. Suartez, I'm Jack Lockhart, it's nice to have you working already" he introduced himself with a wide smile, he looked to the new folders he know held, "Don't worry, it's not work, just something the Minister send earlier, they're changing the forms next week, I thought I could just put them in place already" he said, then walked toward a cabinet and pressed them in.

As he was placing the folders into the cabinet, Jack saw a man walking in and making himself comfortable. Jack didn't seem to know him, he had a pretty good idea of those who worked around him, since he read the applications before he got to work.

"Ahem" he cleared his throat, "Good day, I'm Jack Lockhart, I'm sorry but I don't seem to know who you are" he said, in a friendly tone. He walked closer to the man to shake his hand and took a look at the picture he placed on his desk, it looked like a funny picture and that made Jack chuckled a little, "Your family?" he asked.

"I was just telling Ms. Suartez where the new forms will be, we'll be using them next week, it's nothing to worry, they just added some information for the House-Elves" he was now used to explain everything work-related.

Jack smiled at his explanation, it should be nice to have a large family, he supposed it was fun, but then the word "responsibility" came to his head and shook it.

"Mmm, girls are usually harder than boys, I only have 2, a boy and a girl, my daughter drives me crazy sometimes" he said and chuckled at the memories.

Jack suddenly remember he had a flyer in his other hand, "Oh, Mr. Addams, we just received this flyer, uh, petition" he said, while handing over the piece of paper, "It appears some wizards are thinking about replacing the fountain in the Atrium, it seems to send a wrong message about the way muggles are think of" he cleared his throat, he didn't think of wizards being better than muggles, he'd been married to one, but he wasn't sure about signing the petition, "Feel free to sign it if you wish to support the cause" he continued, after all, it was his job to pass this information.

Jack nodded at the comments Christopher had just said, although he was still thinking it through, it seemed wrong not to sign himself up since his kids loved everything muggle, they were half-blood after all, but for some reason they enjoyed the other world just as much, of course, his daughter is only 12 but has always been involved in both worlds.

"Yes, I completely understand what you mean, but I'm still not sure if we can achieve something by replacing the fountain, you should see how some were reacting in the Atrium" he said, when he heard some say that it didn't matter, "We do have to be careful, some elves might take it the wrong way as well" he continued and thought about the way Christopher said the name of his wife, he said "her name was" so maybe she was no longer living, his mind suddenly flashed an image of his wife Sarah, it's been 3 years since her death and since his former life.

Jack put aside his thoughts and continued to wait if Christopher signed or not the petition, since Mr. Thomas, from the Games and Sports Department, wanted the list as soon as possible.

Celicia looked over from her desk at the two men talking. Staring at her desk, she remembered who had driven her towards working at the MoM. Her muggle father, killed by prejuidiced wizards. A single tear fell down her cheek.

Jack nodded and thought about what Christopher just said, it was completely right. Some sort of memo came through the door, he read it carefully.

"I think we need to deal with this lovely creature" he said, holding what appeared to be a curriculum, but not from a wizard, this time a house elf needed another place to work, if that was the word.

"His name is Pokey" Jack said with a smile, finally some work had came, "He belonged to the Bode family, but he's now free under unexpected circumstances" Jack chuckled, to use unexpected to define someone's death was out of the question.

"I think I'll need you to find him a place to work, I'll say Hogwarts, but I don't know how crowded it is" he said placing the paper in a metallic board behind him, maybe they'll find the perfect place, job and salary for this house elf.

Jack heard Christopher's suggestion, "Yes, that seems like a good idea" he said, either way, it should be a place where the house-elf will be in good care, of course.

Jack was surprised, "That was fast" he thought, it didn't take much time to get ideas about where to place Pokey, and Christopher seemed to know the Academy quite well.

"I think so, just contact them and let them know about Pokey" he said, "I'm sure they'll accept him" he continued, writing "Beauxbatons" under the Elf name, it wasn't definitive until the Academy said yes, but it didn't hurt to write the place they were considering.

It had been a couple minutes until Jack realized that Christopher was grabbing some paper, he seemed like a quick thinker, hopefully the elf will get on Beauxbatons, he overheard "Durmstrang" and a sudden chill fell down his arms, it was so immature of him to keep thinking so dark of Durmstrang, and even worse to get the chill now, after Durmstrang has been brought up so many times in conversations before, maybe it's because his brother chose to go there and was really weird and scary to him while growing up.

"Yes, I think they'll get him a job at Beauxbatons", he said, trying to sound untouched by the Durmstrang thing, he knew it was as School just like the others, "Pokey will be fine" he reassured.

Jack looked down at the paper, and sighed soundlessly hoping some work will come soon.

Catlin Scuto realizing how late she was for work,tried slipping into the office as inconspicuous as possible and sit at her desk. straightening up her name plate and removing her things from her bag sat as if she had been there for ages. she couldn't believe it was her 1st day of working at the ministry and she was late. she looked around and noticed a pair of men stood over a desk talking about a piece of paper one of them was holding i wonder what it is? she said to herself then looking over in the other side of the room saw a women probably thinking the same as her. turning back to her desk she started to think about where she would place a house elf once she had to.

It wasn't until Jack looked up from his notes that he noticed someone else had walked in, "Oh, you must be Miss Scuto, I was informed earlier you'll be joining us" he said greeting the woman, "I'm Jack Lockhart, and I wish I could tell you how much we have to do right now, but there's nothing much so far" it had been a low week in the department, perhaps it means there will be lots of work soon.

Ah hello there Mr Lockhart, or am i ment to call you Jack, sorry not so good at the whole work colleagues thing this is my first job. realising how much of an idiot she was looking she tryed to change the subject, Anyway im sure work will pick up soon, i hope you dony mind me asking but what was that peice of paper in you hand it look like one of the flyers in the Atrium. she had seen them breifly on her dash past the horrid fountin on her way in

"Oh, yes, this is the flyer that was sent if any worker wanted to sign it" he showed her the paper, "Feel free to callme Jack, I'm really not that old" he said, and chuckled, of course, if she really decided to call him otherwise he wouldn't mind, as long as she remembered the name correctly, he was fine with it.

At the exact time Jack held the flyer to Catlin, a memo came through the door:

Jack read it, out loud so that everyone in the room could listen to it, "Well, it appears that some job is calling us" he said, leaving the office while telling the others to go find out what they can.

okay jack she smiled, i'll add my scribble to the bottom. she watched as the memo flew in and listend to what jack had to say. oh my who would do that, admittedly she thought about doing it herself a few times but didnt think anyone would actually do it.
i'll head down there now jack to see what i can find out
