Liz walks into the office, looking to see where her cubicle is. She puts her box down, and notices a stack of papers in the inbox on her desk.

She sets up her laptop, and makes sure it is hooked up to the office network. She empties her box and puts everything away. "Now it looks better in here, more homey looking", she says to herself.

She sits down and begins entering all the unfortunate people that were forced to become werewolves, into the registry.

Star can barely contain herself as she rides the lift to Level 4. She begins her new job today with Werewolf Registry.

She enters the office and is directed to her cubicle, where she places her laptop and starts putting out her nic-nacs and pictures of her kids and granddaughter.

She goes to the next cubicle and meets Liz, her co-worker.

"Hi Liz, I am Star Black"

Hello Star Black!

How are you enjoying your first few days?

I'm finding it sad, how many people have ended up as werewolves...Liz says as she flips through the rest of the stack.

"I still trying to find my niche. I am nervous about being here. I haven't worked in the magickal world long and I hope I can be a asset to this job."

'There are so many young people working here,' I thought to myself 'I hope I can keep up with them'

"I did go next door and met a nice young man working in the Werewolf Capture Unit. We will be working closely with that team."

"He was drawing the most beutiful picture of a griffyn. It was almost lifelike. I felt as though I could almost pet it."

I understand. I feel the same way. I'm wondering if it will get any busier, it's nice just doing paperwork, but isn't the job to be more than that?

My niece, who is just a 1st year at hogwarts, is really good at drawing. I'm just amazed at some of the drawings she has done!

"My granddaughter is waiting for her Hogwarts Letter. She lives in the United States, but asked if she could go to Hogwarts instead of the American School. She will be living with me during school breaks. She wanted to come here for her schooling because that's I went there and she likes its that we share the same first name."

"I too was wondering if it would get any busier. I guess we will find out after the next full moon."

My twin brother had a girl and she shares my name. I feel really sad for her right now. Her mother is dying, and she doesn't know it, she knows she's sick, but not how sick. My brother, her papa, doesn't want her to know, but I think she should. I'm considering visiting her soon.

Hmmm, when is the next full moon...Liz waves her wand, and a calendar appears.

"I am actually glad we are not busy right now. That just means no poor souls who have had their lives changed by this affliction. As the Muggles like to say, 'No news is good news.'"

Star goes back to her desk and turns around in her chair, "Since we are not busy and we will spend most of our time in this office, do you think they would give us an enchanted window" she asks to liz.

That would be really nice, something to break the monotony. I wonder who we would ask...

"Ms. Silverstone, is most likely to be asked first about the window. Hopefully, we would be allowed one, because it's not likely for us to spend any time 'in the field' as they say."

Star turns and picks up a basket full of chocolate Hersey Kisses and hands it to Liz. "Care for a sweet dear?"

Oh, why thank you!

I just heard horrible news. My brothers wife just died. It is so sad, I never even got to Hogsmeade to talk to my niece, before this happened...

"Ohhh, I'm sorry to hear that dear. Just make yourself available to your niece. Let her know you are there, but do not push her to talk. Right now she just needs hugs and a good listening ear. And if you need a ear, mine is always available. I have good hugs too, My granddaughter says mine are the best."

Thank you, you're very sweet! Liz reaches over and gives Star a hug. She's absolutely right, Liz says as she gives Star a wobbly smile. It'll be a long few weeks for the family I'm sure. I just look forward to work picking up a bit, to take my mind off it...

"Remember dear, any time you need a shoulder, ear or a pair of arms, just come visit me. I am always available. Now about getting that window......"

Star was glad to get a chance to go back to her office. The meeting her and Liz had been to seemed to go on forever. She sat down at her desk and started going through the memos that had piled up on her desk.

Her laptop beeped and said, "You have mail. "

'Oh, My granddaughter has e-mailed me!"

Hi, Gramma, Will you be coming to dinner this Sunday? Mom wants to know. E-mail me when you know, you know how Mom is about all the owls. Love Jenesis Black

Liz walks in, and sees Star at her desk. She sits down and opens on her laptop. Tapping her pen on her desk, while she waits for it to boot up. She suddenly realizes that she forgot to send that email out, and it was due last Friday!

Oops, now where was that email she had typed up...

She reaches into her bowl and takes out a peppermint, and sits sucking on it, lost in thought.

Star looks up after replying to her granddaughter. 'I need a cup of tea' she thinks to herself.

She notices that Liz has returned to her desk.

"I'm going to the breakroom to make a cup of tea, dear" she says to Liz. "Would you like any thing while I out?"

"No, I think I'm good right now", Liz says as she looks up. "Thank you though Star!"

Liz looks up when she sees a memo from her supervisor. Hmmm, ok, I'll keep a look out, for the gentleman.

Writing a quick note, for Star, to check her email box. She places it on her desk, and goes to go get some lunch.

Stars returns to her desk with her tea and sees a not from Liz telling her to check her email.

"Ohhh, this looks interesting"

"Oh, hello Star!" Liz says when she walks in after lunch.

I see you got my note. Did you read the email yet?

Star turned around at her desk at Liz's question. " Yes I did. It looks like we might get to do some work around here."

"Do you want to do the write-up on this first one. I would still be able to do any research you need. I like research."

"Ok, that sounds good.", Liz says as she walks back over to her desk.

Let's see his name was Hermann Kern. She types in search into her computer, and finds his listing.

Ok, he is 37 years old, and lives in Wallingford England.

"Hmm, this one sounds familiar, have you heard of him Star?"

"No, I think I have. Has he been turned long or has he just been causing some trouble?"
