Finding my cubicle I unload everything into a corner, destined to be sorted later. Looking around the office I notice that there is almost no activity.
Wow, who'd've known. Werewolf capture unit. Dang this is a big responsibility.
Sighing, I sit down pulling my sketchbook out, brushing my hand through my hair, resting my feet on my desk, and continuing my sketch of the griffyn I had meat only a few weeks ago.

Star goes next door to the office called The Werewolf Capture Unit.
"Hello, I'm Star Black from Werewolf Registry. I thought I'd introduce myself since our offices will be working together."

Sighing and looking up I see a middle aged woman smiling as she geeted me.
"Mmm. My name is Xire Darthun, I'm new here to, and have an exceptional skill at both sketching and dealin with magical creatures. Since we're going to be working together, it's best to know each others abilities, so why don't you go first?"

"Hello, Xire" I said to the nice young man sitting at the desk. He kind of reminds me of my son Christopher. Tall, thin and all that long hair. Except for the eyes.

"Well, this is my first job ever. I have been living across the pond in North Carolina since I graduated Hogwarts. I've just been a mother and wife. My daughter is about your age. My son is 29. Both married now, My son gave me a granddaughter who is 11 now, she is waiting on her Hogwarts letter. And my daughter is expecting twins."

" You will find out soon that I tend to mother people. I try not to, but just can't help myself. I have a large group creatures that I mother now." I smile as I say this. "They tend to get grumpy when I get all 'mothery' "

"I am very good with Herbs and Potions. Not a good flyer. And very good at mixing with Muggles. My parents raised my sisters and me as muggles. I did not know that I was a witch until I turned 11."

I know I shouldn't talk so much, but I miss my kids and he looks like such a nice young man.

"So, did you go to Hogwarts?"

Glancing upward once more, I happily say,
"Yeah, one of the top people in my class, half because I was already applying to be an animagus. I have a slight case of paranoya. and have photographic memory, a slight drawback to having that though...Oh and as you can see I'm a heterochromida, like my cousin, cept he has a blue eye." I smile at Star, half bewildered with the fact that she had just come out of North America.

"Dear, you must not have met my family. I mean, have you ever met a black with red hair. I had a cousin who was a Metamorphmagus, I was never sure what she would look like, though she did have a fondness for purple. And I have several family members who were just plain batty, and mean too. I guess that is why my parents chose to live in the United States. But I fell in love with England and Scotland when I went to Hogwarts. Now I am here to stay."

'This is a relly nice young man,' Star thought. 'I think I will enjoy working here'

"Well Xire, I need to get back to my desk and take care of my paperwork . then I off to get some lunch."

"We'll talk again soon I hope?"

"Meh, see you. Though for a note my great-great-great grandmother was Cassieopia Black, I believe, so we may be distantly related." I say as she leaves.
Now back to my sketch...

Allison slipped into the office as quietly as possible. She was hoping to not cause commotion, or really be noticed, as she was new. She had a small box tucked under her arm, containing a few possessions to put on or in her desk. A gust of wind slammed the door behind her. Shoot… She thought.

"Um, hi?" I say, barely able to see over the wall of my cubicle. "Who's there?" I continue towards the door as I get ready to get up.

“Hello?” Allison asked. “I’m, uh, new. Am I in the right place?” She looked around and finally managed to spot who was talking. She shifted her stuff to free a hand. “Hi, I’m Allison Boggs.”

"Unless you weren't put into the werewolf capture unit, this is the spot." I say smirking as I stand up. "Ack! Where are my manners? Names Xire Darthun, and welcome to the unit."

"Thanks." Allison put her box down on an unoccupied desk. "Uh, any particular desk or...?" she trailed off.

"Not that I know of, I just picked this one cause I felt like it, maybe because it felt roomy. I dunno." I say, half immersed in thought of what I just said, half immersed in our conversation.

Allison smiled. “Ok then.” She left her stuff on the desk. “I suppose I’ll just sit here, good as any I guess.”

"Hey Ryan, Joeseph, how's life been for you two? I haven't seen the likes of you two for what...about 4-5 years, holy!" I say as I see my two previous house members enter the department room. "I knew we were all at the top of our class in CoMC but all ending up in the same department, that's awesome."

Ryan looked over the cubical wall when he heard some one call his name, seeing it was Xire also from his divison "Hey Xire, lifes been good for me, what about you?" he said smiling slightly before frowning slightly "I was never top of Care of magical creatures classes, I was good at charms i think you may have confused me with some one else" he said his smile returning "So did you do anything when you left hogwarts or did you come straight to work here?" he said sitting back down on his chair as he placed he feet upon his desk.

"Xire! How are you doing." Joseph said with enthusiasm, remembering his old classmate. "Life's been doing fine for me, I'm just excited to be back in wizardry. I've learned that fencing really isn't my thing." He smiled and clapped the man on the back. Towering over the young man.

"You always did fancy that other stick. At least you came to your senses." I say laughing,
"And look at you, you're huge, are you sure there's no giant in your ancestry?" I say, smiling, as I look up at my old classmate.
"Well it seems as if I'm related to the Lupin family, and another person on this level, her name's Corvus. My cousin Onikami, you remember him right? Yeah, well he figured it out."

"Yeah, well you're still huge. Probably one of the reasons you were put in this division." I say smiling as I now pull out my sketchbook to show him it.
"Oh, and I've gotten better at using my photographic memory, this picture is a great example."
