The heart of the Ministry, this is where people come and go.

"Eep!"

The squeak was heard a split second before a spinning whirl of midnight blue robes with streaks of gold (they were stars, but it's impossible to tell with this one, she moves too much) appeared in the Atrium with a crack. Katya managed to stop spinning by falling on her bum.

"Oof."

Looking around, while surreptitiously rubbing her sore posterior, she was glad to find that the Atrium was empty. Getting to her feet, she summoned the papers she'd been carrying (nothing important, she figured they'd make her look busy) and headed off towards the Lifts.

Forrester apparated inside the ministry and started heading towards the lifts. The atrium was still empty except for a couple of Division heads and Department heads arriving to their work, a couple of employees were heading to their respective work desk. First day at work, since a long break, he thought to himself as he waited for the lifts.
Hmmm I see the fountain has been repolished

"Ehhhhh!!!!!!" Naoke cried as she came flying from one of the many fireplaces used to floo into and out of the Ministry of Magic.

No matter how many times she Floo'd, she would never ever get the hang of it.

"Aaaa!" she cried from the floor, picking herself up. "What can't British wizards do like Japanese do?" she wondered allowed. Maybe if she spoke to someone in International Cooperation-- or perhaps it would be better to speak to those in Transportation? She shook her head. It would be pointless.

It was very likely that she was one of the few, if not the only, Japanese employee of the British Ministry.

With a sigh, she headed to the lift that would take her to Level Nine.

"Eh," she said, tripping a bit on her robes. For an Unspeakable, she was rather loud; she was also very clumsy and she hated robes. In Japan, they wore Kiminos, but that was different; they weren't as loose.

She looked to her side and smiled at the people next to her as she waited for the lift.

A slender girl of twenty-four lands in one of the fireplaces at the Ministry, looking like she uses the Floo network everyday. Stepping out of the flames, she smooths her black jeans and deep purple button-down shirt before calmly walking toward the lifts. Her chestnut hair, reaching her shoulderblades, is pulled back elegantly in a leather-covered clip, and her chocolate-brown eyes examine her surroundings.

Reaching the lifts, she sees a few others waiting, and smiles at them politely as she waits for a lift to come to take her to Level Four. She fingers a pendant around her neck as she waits.

Jude drifted through the many Ministry officials, Daily Prophet workers, goblins and dwarfs towards the lifts that would take him to the employment offices. In his right hand he held his brief case which surprisingly didn't seem to knock into any of the workers or any of the heads of the grumpy goblins. Once Jude got the lifts, however, he found a indicator of the levels and realized he was already on the correct floor. He turned his head towards a door or sign indicating the employment offices. Once he found it he shuffled off to new employment.

Dan saw many new employ`s I must talk to one soon but he was getting late for work.So he headed for the lifts

"Ooops" Rebecca murmured as she landed in the Atrium 'Gawd, i hope no one saw me!!' she thought, she then adopted a brisk walk on the way to the lift looking around as she hurried

Not being greatly fond of travelling by Floo Powder, getting to and from the Ministry had become a terrible chore for Alistaire. But it was one he simply had to endure, having had the unfortunate problem of forgetting where the other entrance was located. No matter. It was only a few moments of complete loss of control, although a slight hint of dizziness would stay with him throughout the day.

Stepping out from within the green flame, his suitcase in hand and grey raincoat on his arm, he strides through the atrium at a somewhat hastened pace. He never liked to be late, thus why he was at least twenty minutes early for work. He just hoped that the higher powers were keeping score of his 'overtime', as it were. Not in the mood for dillydallying, he steps quickly over to the lift, having to wait only a moment for it to arrive. He steps inside with some difficulty given the crowd already within and begins to whistle a tune to himself as heads to his department.

A loud crack was heard as Bella appeared in the Atrium with files and magazines in her arms (the top one looked like it was a muggle magazine as the pictures didn't move and it said Vogue on the cover). She hugged the books to herself (it was easier to support their weight that way) and started to walk towards the Cafetaria, her high heeled boots making the clacking noise as she walked across the floor.

Of course she was early for work, as usual. She hadn't had breakfast that morning, she was too lazy to make anything for herself, so she decided to have some in the cafetaria before work.

Dan was found of scaring people so he turned into a lion and headed for the caffeteria.

After a loud crack, Dora appeared at the ministry, early in the morning. She was holding a bag with new items she wanted to decorate her office with, and also the new book written by her mother, which she had just received that morning.
She walked past the fountain, and thought it would be a good idea to have something to eat at the cafeteria.

Iris apparated exactly in the middle of the Atrium, making an impressive entrance on her first day at work like she always did. She looked around, examining everything around her with her cat-like eyes. She smiled when her eyes fell on the "Magic is Might" Fountain; it reminded her of her one and only visit to the Ministry at the age of five, when she escaped her father's grip and disappeared of view. She was found an hour later, hiding behind that very Fountain.

After examining everything with her usual attention to every single detail, she walked to the Lifts. She hadn't eaten breakfast yet but didn't mind. All she cared about was getting started with her job.

Miley had a stack of books in her hands and walked across the atrium,but then remembered that her twin had to talk to her.She sat down on a bench and wiated.She pulled the first book of her stack and began to read it.

Cassandra walked up the Atrium looking for her sister, she wanted to talk to her, they haven't talked much for a while now.
She looked over at one of the benches and saw her. Smiling to herself, she walked over to where her twin was sitting, waiting for her.
"Hey there Miles." Cassandra said, sitting next to her. "What you reading now?" Maybe the tow looked smiliar but they were completely different, Cassandra was more of a crime fighter, while Miley perfered education.

Miley looked up and said,"Hey Cassie."She put the book down and added,"I'm reading Hogwarts,A History."

Cassandra laughed. "I swear you love that book." She said to her sister. "So what have you been up to lately, it's been a while since we last spoke."

"Nothing much,"Miley said.She put the book down and looked at Cassie. "So,"Miley said, "You wrote a letter saying you wanted to talk about somehting."

"I just wanted to talk to my sister, it's been a while wince we last spoke you know." Cassandra told Miley. "What's going on in the Education Department?"

Joshua Lupet Sigal was once again startled for the 1 millionth time at the loud crack that delivered him to the ministry. He walked into the room, nose up, shoulders posed, and eyes glued to the Daily Prophet. He looked around, saw some people casually standing around doing nothing productive. Instead of joining them, like his bratty 3rd year cousin would do, he made a mental note of criticism that they should on the job, waiting for a chance to serve the Ministry. He walked around, surveying the vulgar scene like a teacher to naughty students.

Annie Quin- left her mothers house after being summonded their by her mother to look at the flower agrangements for her mothers party, which is the party of the year...by floopowder...steping lightly out of the fireplace clean and perfect like all ways, her brown hair today slightly curly at the ends near her shoulders, in a knee length skirt, sweater, cloak, necklace on, black highheels (and jeans on friday's with some new Qudditch
t-shirt...)her heels hit the floor and she walked to the lifts with the daily prophet in hand reading every so often, side bag full of papers on shoulder...
"thank god its not friday, yet...what is she thinking?"..."that guy is off is his head, how could she let me be seated next to him...trying to get me to go out with him of course...just wait until I tell Reggie, she will laugh her head off..." she thought as getting on and headed toward her department.

"Tell you the truth,"Miley said."I have no idea.All these people are doing things so quickly and I don't know.I'm just doing my own things as a examinator."

"Ahh, I see." Cassandra said. "And all those books are for...?" Cassandra asked, pointing to the pile beside her twin.

"Me,"Miley said."So I can have something to read in my spare time."

Cassandra laughed. "You know Miles, even though we're identical on the outside, we are so different on the inside." Cassandra told her. "Who knew that identical twins could be so different. I would do something else during my free time instead of reading."
