Horses are brilliant animals!!! I don't think they would never deliberately hurt anyone.
But I can see where you're coming from: my friend was killed by a horse this time last year. A complete accident, but it was still a shock. |

Yeah, you can do courses that include horse care. Well I know here in Aussie land you can.
I haven't been out riding for weeeeks now, for a few different reasons. And I go away this weekend for 2 weeks so I'll have to wait a bit yet. =/ I do have some baby lambs though...  | |

Woah, then I'm definitely going to a Uni that does that...someday. and animal psychology.

Right now, I have A horse Care class, where we go to the barn early to muck stalls, do water, groom, and then learn different types of care. This includes giving shots, sheath/udder cleaning, braiding, clipping, bandaging, etc. Its early, but its a lot of fun! Next semester I'll be taking Intro to the Equine Industry, which will be a lot more theory, less hands on- unfortunately!
But, I'll still have my riding classes!
