I've had soem bad experiences with horses recently. One of my friends was killed by one a few weeks ago, not long after I fell off, got kicked in the head and had concussion.

The other day my (sort of) horse reacted badly to a bite on his neck, so I've got to go see if he's O.K. He always reacts to injections and stuff.

I used to have an Arab but we couldnt find any land to keep him on so we had to sell him He was great though! A bit crazy sometimes but he was still awesome!

I've always wanted a horse but we havent enough property for it and my parents dont want 1!>=o[

I haven't been riding for a while. School's so busy at the moment. but I'm home for the week, so I'll probably be riding. I wish shows would start.

I've been taking lessons for almost five years now. I'm not very good considering how long I've been riding, but I love it.

Um. Maybe there's a cute mare around that he has a crush on! but seriously, I'm afraid I have no idea.

My riding teacher is away, so I won't have lessons for ages.

At my house, I have two appaloosas. One's just a littel thing and then there's momma. I'm hoping the weather will get nice so I can go out and ride them.

I haven't been riding in, oh... 5 months now, I think. I miss it

Schoolwork, though, the desire to get top grades, the fact the stables are quite far away from my house and my Mum isn't all that eager to drive me there every week all sort of culminated against me.

I have been riding (not necessarily regularly, but riding nonetheless) since I was 4-5, so for the past 11-12 years. I've always loved it, always loved horses. Now that I can't ride them as much - I paint them instead

I would love to praticipate in a showjumping competition sometime though - the feeling of soaring over a jump is indescribable, and exactly as I'd imagine flying to be

I have three horses- One's 1/4 Paint, 3/4 Arabian named Ibn (pronounced Ihben), One full blood Arabian named Maverick, and one mutt named Sunny (his full name is Sunday Morning Surprise) he's part Welsch Pony, part Paint, and two parts of something else....anyway, he's my baby. He was born in my front yard on a (how'd you guess it) Sunday morning! I love him to death! *Rummages for pictures*

So, I'm not a big horse fan, although they're lovely; they're just big and I'm always afraid of a swift death-by-hoof when I'm near one. But gotta say: GREAT thread name!
