i can't believe it took me this long to find this thread. i was just about to start a horse thread of my own lol. i absolutely adore horses, they are my life. i'm 15 and riding is my passion. i spend most of my waking hours thinking about horses lol. i'm not allowed my own horse until i'm seventeen but i'm counting the days. this is kinda random but i'm curious, what is your favourite pace? |

I personally love the canter. It takes awhile to get used to, but its a lot like a rocking chair. It also has the sensation of flying! I don't have my own horse either...but I'm working on my mom for this one! He's absolutely adorable! |

(because of framing, collection, lateral work, etc.) But I like my horses collected trot. I've got 7 horses. Two Thoroughbreds, One welsh pony, one Wel-Arab pony, and Three Thoroughbred/Hanoverian crosses.
My horse, Nasdaq, is a 16.3 hand Thoroughbred/Hannoverian chestnut. He has a disease called EPSM, which effect his muscles, so he has to be ridden almost every day.
I loooove riding him because he is soo dependable, and actually kinda lazy. His favorite gait is halt!
I'm also working on our three year-old Thouroughbred/Hanoverian (Nazzy's half-sister). Her gaits are so smooth, that even when she's spooking and trying to buck me off, riding her is fun!

Wow. That's quite a lot of horses, there.
My parents can barely afford my horse, and that's with me working off part of his board.
I need a job.
lol, I love my horse. He's so funny. My dressage instructor was saying that sometimes having a horse like him is a good thing, and sometimes it can just be obnoxious. | |

The "let's ride" games are like video games Quite a wered way to control your horse though... I like them because you can learn the patterns for compititions.
I have "silver buckle stables"

I've been doing hunters because we thought it might teach him that he can jump quietly, but that didn't really work. He gets too excited. I'm switching to eventing or jumpers and I do dressage.
I've never played those games, but I have played an eventing game and the saddle club one.

I'm a westy (<lol don't ask) Just ride for fun, only done one show
This is strange I learned to canter the day before the show and still did it in the show Well I found out about the show 2 days before
Game note: The 3 saddles I've earned so far have all been western
to earn saddles, blankets, outfits, ect. you must win buckles by competing in all events at the "shows" in the game bereles and such events

I have 11 horses altogether. They are not all mine, but I take care of them all, and I show most of them. There is Shasta, Dude, VIper, Tony, Tarzan, Dixie, Babe, Cinnema, Rosie, Cash, and Jackie. I am like, never home during the summer because I am always showing horses. I have to go, but I will post again later. Plus, I ride western and only western. | |

The owner of the barn where I board at is driving me insane. I never even wanted to go there. I try SO hard to be calm around her, but if she doesn't stop talking crap about my horse (who's the biggest sweety in the world- she's not the one riding him when he's crazy) I might punch her in the face....probably not, but she's lucky I have self control.
