Hahaha, that made me laugh. I just got a weird visual of a horse running around with a pair of shorts over his ears.
I'm like the rider who gets on all the evil ones (we get along well), so this girl came running up when my dad dropped me off, and told me that Kelsey got thrown, she wouldn't get back on, and would I please get on the horse to show her what was wrong. She completely left out the part that her helmet was smashed. So I got on the pony (Yes, it was a pony. Don't laugh, they're worse than hot thoroughbreds) and he was galloping before I even got my stirrups. So I tried to circle him, or get him together, but he wouldn't listen to any of my aids, and completely ignored me. He then tried to start running me into fences, galloping straight towards them and then swerving out at the last minute. Oh yeah, lots of fun. So Chester finally got me off when I lost my balance and his hoof must have hit my head, so he crushed my helmet in, I dislocated my jaw and I had a horse show the next day.
^ There was my lovely horse story. While we're on the topic of crazy out of control horses.

Accualy the horse I had him do that because my 1/2 riding instrutur was on my horse and told m to go get help when my horse stepped on some barb wire then it got tangled around his back legs

Oh yes Just a few cutts but it's funny his back legs are white but the liquid bandage stainded them so there green

Awww. Green legs are better than hurt legs. My horse had a hairline fracture in his hip before. We sort of flipped over on pavement.

I'm not going to ask how that happened yea... but theres this 1/2 draft at my aunts and she allwase brakes through this fence up into a pastue there not allowed in but once me and my cousin had to chace them back down.well we took the quad and we're about 1/2 way accross the pasture and the draft and the tennisee walker came Bursting out of the tree line WOW that was strange

Since you didn't ask, I won't tell you, but I will tell you this:
Mares who are on hormones to be bred like to instigate other horses and get them all full of themselves. And paved driveways aren't for horse farms.
That's not good. What if the draft breaks through the fence and gets in the road?

The closest road is hardly ever travled and they never leave the farm the only reason to get out is for freash grass then there happy

Okay, then that's good. I'm in New Jersey and there are no roads that are hardly traveled on, unless they're small dirt roads that don't really go anywhere.

The barn that I was at had an electric fence surrounding the riding ring and the one side of the barn, and my horse broke the cross ties after someone stupidly held up a broom near his face after I explained that he wasn't treated well on the track and you couldn't do that. He ran out the back and then jumped the electric fence for the heck of it. It scared me to death that he was going to run down the driveway and into the road, because two horses got hit by a car the previous week. He stopped when he saw me, though.

And also the fence surrounding the pen itself is stronger than the pasture their not aloud in

i used to take horseback riding lessons it seems i would like something and then my stepmom would take me out of it i LOVED it... i was devistated when i got tooken out of it... but everytime i go to my sisters boyfriends house he has horses (well his parents board them) and i go and look at them...

Horses are beautiful creatures. I've always wanted to take riding lessons, but I've never gotten to it. It sounds really fun, but I think I'd have to gain the horses trust before I could ride it because when I went horseback riding before and I didnt know the horse, it was sort of scary and I was unsure of what was going to happen, which sort of made me uneasy.

School horses generally don't care who you are or how you ride, which makes them good for their job. If you get uneasy, that's what makes them nervous because they don't know what you're nervous about and then they think there is something to be nervous about.
You should see if you can help out at a local barn for lessons, that's what I did. Then you're step mom can't really 'take' you out of it because she's not the one working for it.

Speaking of school horses I went to this camp thing over the summer they had all these horses this kid who never road did fine

by the way I challenged my cousin to a race muhahahaha I will win my horse has more indurence but his is a little faster

I love horses but am not allowed one of my own and I cannot ride one...I would love to of course.

I love horses! I really wish that I could own one, but I can't, firstly because I can't afford one, and also because I live in a big city quite far from anywhere that it could be kept if I had one. You people who one one are very lucky!

I don't have a problem if you would like to put up a picture of my horsey.
I have to put up some pics of when I first bought him, he looked absolutely terrible.

I know I'm lucky, he's almost like my best friend in a way. But I'd hate to think what would have happened to him if I never bought him.
