Do you believe in ghosts or not and why?
If you do believe in ghosts have you ever had any pesonal eperiences with them?

I have been a beiever my whole life, mostly because I believe in paranormal. My mother had experience with ghosts when my brother was three, it freaked her out a lot then. I myself had an experience about 7-9 years ago. I saw white when I turned around and it scared me half to death, when I went to look back at it, it was gone. My mother thinks it was my Great Aunt Nancy looking after me which wouldn't surprise me at all, I was really close to her when I was younger.

I think there has to be something. I mean when I'm at home by myself I feel as though there is someone in the kitchen or hallway with me whenever I am. Someone died in this house and I think it was either the kitchen or hallway they died in so it always seems as though they are there watching me and trying not to let the same thing happen, if that makes sense.
I used to have a horse and when I was mucking out his stable I would often think there was someone standing in the stable doorway watching me, yet other times there was nothing. Once when my mum drove me down there in the rain we were approaching the open gateway and the gate closed and locked in front of us. I said jokingly "Oh come on Fred play nicely and open the gate for us" as my mum was about to get out and open it when it opened itself. There was nobody standing there and we were the only ones around. There was no wind, just a little rain. We did some research on the land where my horse used to be and we found out it used to be a landing strip for bomber planes in the second world war and a pilot named Fred had crashed his plane there and had died.
Freaky or what?

very freaky, that beats any of my stories. Wow, I would love to in in your house though, as long as the ghost are not trying to kill anyone I'm okay with them.
At the house we used to live in, there would be strange noises all the time, especially at night. There would be times when the lights would turn on and off, sounds of footsteps on the stairs, and even someone shovling coal into our furnance when no one was in the basement. I've told my family that the house was hunted, but they didn't believe me until they started hearing the shoveling coal part, and of course they acted like they figured it out themselves.

yeah well i guess it is a bit strange really to have said a random name and the gate actually opened! I was only messing about when i said it but it was weird when it actually opened itself!
Wow it sounds like your house was haunted then! I guess it must be quite strange to hear coal shovelling itself!
Before my nan and grandad lived in their house there used to be an old lady that lived there and she was too weak to manage to get down the stairs and she died of starvation from not being able to get to the food downstairs but after her body had been found at the top of the stairs strange things started happening in the house. When i stay round there you can hear the sound of someone outside the room shuffling along the hallway and the sound of someone sighing or leaning against the door to rest. Then a few minutes later the shuffling would continue and there's the sound of a hand on the railing at the top of the stairs as if she was holding on to it and trying to get down the stars. A little while later the sound stops, there's a quiet thud and then there's nothing else for the rest of the night. Even if you go out into the hallway you cant see anything but you can still hear it. it's really weird!

Yeah saying the name and it opening was weird, especially when it was the guy's name who died there, talk about a coincident.
Yea, it was, at first I was scared when I heard it, but it happened a couple times a day so I got used to it.
Wow, poor lady, and a freaky house, again I would love to live there, lol. I'm sorry I love haunted houses, they intrigue me. It would be scary though to hear someone walking about, especially right outside your door and to know there is no one there, cool, but scary.
I don't think I have any other ghost stories of my life though, if I remember anything I'm sure to post, but for now I must get to bed.

yeah it was a funny coincidence really! but it was definately cool!
yeah it'd be great to live in a haunted house where things happened all the time! the ghost here only seems to appear if someone is alone in the hallway or kitchen!
yeah it is kinda scary but it's pretty awesome as well!

I don't remember any throughout my life yet, but last night I had a dream that I went to a haunted house. It was weird, first the room was spinning, but no one seemed to notice but me, then the lights wednt out and writing appeared out of thin air, in the air. It was such a cool dream, but I woke up after that, I hate it when I do that, lol.

sounds annoying! i do that a lot as well! sounds like a good dream though!

Actually, I think that was the first ghost dream I ever had, but it was a great dream, I was so mad when I woke up, lol. Then again, I always get mad when I wake up, I want to sleep all the time, it's weird.

totally believe that there are lots of things that walk this earth which we cant see, some good some bad. can't really not believe with my family history, we seem to channel these things more than others. i havent actuall seen a ghost since i was a really little when a befriended a little boy who lived around the 17/1800's we think. but i do sense them a lot, and they're not always nice either, had a very close encounter with something definately evil up at a cathedral, never been so terrified in my entire life.

i've also befriended a wonan who lived (and died) where my nan now lives, i haven't seen her yet, but she lets me know when i'm singing too loud lol

That sounds so awesome, I wish I had some encounters like everyone else had. I agree with you to some of them are good and some are bad, my mom had an encounter with a bad spirit once when my brother was 3, I was born yet. She doesn't scare easily, but she said when she saw the spirit it scared it to death, she ended up turning on all the lights and wouldn't let my brother out of her sight.

Sleep is great though! i always end up being woken up when I want to sleep! Ghost dreams are weird but cool!

I think there has to be something out there, ghost or not. I mean not everything can be seen as we know. Science has proved that!
sensing ghosts is apparently meant to happen right before you can see them or if they dont want to trust you enough to show themselves to you. I guess it's understandable though.
evil spirits arent exactly nice! i guess there's probably quite a lot of them out there though!
fair enough! at least if you know some things about her she might be easier to see or something

we cant be the only form on the planet. i think there has to be something but im not sure whether its a ghost or an alien or a parallel universe living on the same planet.

i guess seeing a spirit like that probably would be quite scary though. especially if you werent expecting it or didnt believe in ghosts before hand.
