Hi, My name is jes, jesi, or jesifur. I realize I am old enough to be your mom. I in fact have a teenage daughter. I am in my thirties, but get mistaken for younger all the time. I live near Detroit, Michigan, USA. My job currently is momming, but I have also have been a line cook, prep cook, grill chef, baker, astrology charter, artist, writer, and blogger. I have a green thumb and quite a flower garden. We just started fruit plants this year. I am a bit over five feet tall and about a hundred pounds (i should eat more junk food). My hair changes color; currently it is strawberry blonde and my eyes are sparkly blue. I am married and actually happy about it (4 years married, but ten years with him). In addition to the teenager I also have a almost ten year old and an almost four year old. Two girls are the elder and the boy is the baby. I also have a dog Dotty.

I like food, socks, hats, and turtles.
I dislike rude people, talking on the phone, and rain on my knees.
I have an irrational fear of butterflies and elevators.
The only insects I feel empathy for and would never squish are grasshoppers and crickets.
I love to learn and seek knowledge daily (Woot Woot interwebs! you make knowledge finding easy.)

I have been very confused about life the past three months, so I am very different then I normally am. I hardly see my friends they either don't talk to me anymore or I never see them at school I am normaly just by my self now, I talk to about five friends which thats not even half of them and I have been very much into my family latly! i joined this site a while back, and I think this is my first post in like four years maybe... I forgot about this site completely until now and I'm going to try to come back and be a part of it again! =) I do have to say, it was quite funny to look at my page to see the posts I made that long ago... and it made me laugh that I'm apparently the keeper of Ron's Prefect Badge. Wish I remembered how that came about!! haha

Obviously, I love Harry Potter. It's such a big part of my life and I've made so many friends through the fandom (mostly because I used to be SO into wizard rock and that was my life for a good two years) I roadtripped all over to see shows - and those were the best years of my life so far!

I recently taught myself how to sew so I could make cute little plushies - and I'm going to attempt to make some cute HP related things too!

Although I'm sorted as Ravenclaw on here, I've always seen myself as a Slytherin
