I thought that this would be a good place for members to introduce themselves. I got this idea from another site. Include things like where you're from, how old you are, what you like to do, what you look like, anything you think appropriate.

About me: Well, I am 19 and I live in Southern California, USA. I work as a dog/cat bather at a grooming shop. I'm 5'4", have longish brown hair with bright red streaks(when I say bright red I mean bright red). If you've seen the Lord of the Rings, I look kinda hobbitish, minus the hairy feet. I currently live with my mom, dad, brother, my 2 cats, and my 2 dogs. I also have a horse, and I love to horseback ride. I love to read and write and I am leaving in June to go to school to become a Vet Tech. I love to sing, I do it all the time. That's all I can think of for now. Let's get to know each other!

I'm Dragonheart (or Kelly) and I'm a 20 year old college student. I hail from the great state of Maine, but go to college in St. Louis, MO, where I'm a chemistry major. I love Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, and spend a lot of time on SS and another LOTR website where I'm also a staff member. I'm a member of a sorority, and I also play Water Polo for my college team. I'm obsessed with Legolas/Orlando Bloom, as well as Karl Urban

harry potter: i actually saw the film first, i avoided reading the books because it was a craze (probably makes no sense to you but..) i came out very dissapointed....i knew i should have liked the film it was just my thing, but instead i didnt. so i decided to give the books a try, it took me about 2 weeks to read all 4 and by then i was hooked. i bought copies of my own and have read them many many times.
i joined the site a couple of weeks ago, it was reccomended by the lord of the rings site i am on.
i saw the second film a couple of days after it first came out...still not impressed with the films im afraid but i do love hte books much as ever.
fave book is probably PoA closely followed by GoF

other interests: as you probably guessed i am a huge lord of the rings fan. im very involved with another site (see my sig...just click the banner :wink: ) so if your a fan check it out and come and say hi...several members here are over there too!
i also love to cave, and do most other outdoor sports when i can, canoeing, hiking, climbing...
other interests hmm well im heavily involved in scouting when i am at home, unfortunately now that i live away most of the year i cannot do that so much.
