I am a 6th grader and am the only one in my class so addicted to science that I'm trying to find collage Science books.


Who here like science?

I like Science, but, sadly, it's not my favorite subject.

What sorts of books do you mean by "college science books"?

I'm pretty into science. I'm planning to major in physics, and I read science books and science news in my spare time. I'm especially into the very abstract, Stephen Hawking sorts of things, but I don't know if I can hack it as a cosmologist. Those guys are seriously brilliant. I also like to read about evolutionary biology - I'm a big fan of Dawkins's The Blind Watchmaker.

im in eighth grade and science sux i hate it so much and its all becasue of my teachers.

I agree, im in thenth grade and I hated science till this year, and it was always because the teachers made it boring. Im doing Bio this year and my teacher made it fun. She got you into it. i think it always depends on teh teacher you get, on weither or not you like it.

I started liking it not by the teacher but by myself.

Seriously? Because I've never heard of anyone that reads textbooks for fun. What branches of science do you study?

I love science, specially Biology. That's the reason I'm graduating college with a Bachellors in Biology and I'm going to start my Masters in Biology this fall.

I really like science, especially astronomy. Human geneology is the toughest, but fascinating! I also enjoyed geography and geology. I took them all in college because math and I do not get along and science will cover math credits, and I like them so much more than algebra, etc. Good luck in school and don't let any anti-science people get you down! PS. Did you ever watch the movie Space Camp? It's an older movie, but really good. I know you can find it in the U.S. Check it out if you can.

I don't get along with math too.

and don't worry they don't get me down because I ask them science questions and they come up with an excuse for not answering them.

I love science but i love physics more than anything else.

I used to love science. Now, in tenth grade, with a not-so-good teacher, I dislike it. I just can't grasp the concepts very well.

Hmmm... science, huh? I must say, I'm not a big fan. I love math & English. My grandma was a high school science teacher, my grandpa taught biology at a college before he died, and my dad is a science teacher now! I almost feel bad, cause I'm not all into science like a lot of other people in my family. I don't hate it, though, it's just not my fave. I'm sad, cause I'm never gonna get my dad as a science teacher! He used to teach sixth grade, so my sis got him when she was in 6th grade, but then, before I came to 6th grade, Dad changed, so he only taught high school: 10th,11th, & 12th graders. I just finished 8th grade, and next school year, he's going to a different school district to teach; he's only teaching 7th grade biology there. It's a much bigger school than where he was, so it pays better, plus he only has one grade to handle, not 3 or 4! So... I kinda got off subject...

Well it depends what kind of science. I like biology. ...Actually I really should be studying for my biology exam right now, because it's tomorrow. Buuut yesh.

I took physics for one year, but it's just not for me, so I'm sticking with Biology. I'm doing immunity right now, which is interesting.

i am in sixth class in primary and have loved science since i was six.i have loved science for a straight six years.i even have the horrible science books and am collecting them.

Meh. I can't stand Science. I used to love it, until I entered High School. The teachers made it so.... boring and I just hope It will be fun next year in Chem.

oh you just don't like it because you have cleavenger who's an old bat and repeats things over a hundered times that aren't needed to be repeated...lol

I like it...but it realy depends on my teachers. They are so not into it! The people complain that kids are stupid but if the teachers don't teach us anything....and they get paid fairly! Nm, i'm going to get heated...

Yeah,my teachers good but not that good because when she asked what we exhale most of the class said hydrogen.

Science is one of my better subjects at school, but i wouldn't say i'm addicted.
