I'm sorry that I wasn't able to get the 'base' signature done this weekend. I just got really busy. Umm ... I don't have a graphics program on my laptop (Which I'm using now at boarding school), so that means I won't be able to make any graphics until I get back home. I'll be back home around April 25th, so yeah.

Alright...well...I will try and get all the signatures done by tomorrow...things have been real hectic with uni, work full time, and trying to get my business off the ground...sorry I haven't been around!

Okay. Do you guys think that we can hold off on the participation siggies until the 25/26 of April? If we can, please let me know soon. I won't be home until then (I don't have a graphics program on my laptop here) and ... yeah. I would like to make them, but if they need to be done before that, someone please go right ahead and make them.

We need to start advertising our graphics contest anywhere we can. Apparently the PMs didn't work too well, so we need to get into the TP threads and start talking about it, providing the link too. If you have some clever ideas to get more people to the FC and participating, please share!

Hmmm...where else could we possibly advertise? Ok...I'll make a siggy promoting the contest tonight...so perhaps we could all use that...and it'll have the link in it to the contest? How does that sound?

There's a signature...it's small enough you may not have to even take yours out...I'm going to in this case...and then we can add the link in as well :-D

I'm absolutely rubbish with the whole graphics thing and I seem to be doing something wrong with trying to link the siggie to comp thread as it's not allowing it, but at least the siggie is showing the comp is still available.

I think also just plug it in every thread poss where it can be slipped into conversation. You never know, it could work.

Hey guys,

Perhaps we need to regroup on the contest idea. Maybe what we should first focus on is sending out invitations to all new members to join the JKRFC. We can send PMs to new members and also start inviting people to join the JKRFC in the TP threads and in our signatures. Maybe if we recruit some new members, we can get some participation in the contest.

Also, someone may want to head into the graphics shops and make a list of all the names of people who have their own shops. Clearly these people enjoy making graphics and might want to submit even an entry as small as an avatar, which would likely be very quick and easy to make for them. Someone could post that list in here and we can develop a PM to send to them to invite them to join the FC and to enter the contest.

I'll work on the PM to the new members and post it here later. Someone else should start working on the PM to the graphics people and post that here. We can edit those posts as needed based on other officers' suggestions and when we've decided that they're ready to be sent out, we can discuss splitting up the lists.

Alright I'll work on the one to the graphics shops owners...I'll post it in a little while!

Oh. My. Gosh. I'm so sorry guys!! I meant to do the graphics competition and just have been so overwhelmed with everything right now...

Of course that brings up another point that if possible, could someone please temporary take over the sending birthday UNs for me? This will only be needed for any birthdays that fall between May 1st and May 11th. I have the birthday template created for this years birthdays... all that needs to be done is add their name/username according to user group. And on their birthday to send it to the user via PM.
I have finals in early part of May, so I need to be focused on my studies during that time.

if anyone would be able to do that for me, then please send me a PM and i'll give you the template and any other instructions. Feel free to view users with April birthdays for an example.

Okay guys. I am at home right now, so I am working on the JKRFC Participation signature now. I should have it up in here before the end of the weekend.

EDIT: Okay guys. I have the participation signature done. I know that it isn't that great, but it's the best that I can do at the moment. My grapics program has been acting up lately and won't let me do anything extra to make it look better. Anywho, here it is:

I know we're trying to get some participation in the graphics contest, but do you also think you each could write a few trivia questions + answers for the Trivia thread? There's enough officers that with each of us writing at least 2-3 (feel free to write more if you'd like) we'll have enough to offer to the mods running JavaChat.

I'm sad to say that Tailzinator has stepped down from the Graphics team in order to devote more time to her other commitments. Since we still have two graphics officers, I am not going to replace her at this time.

Also, we're currently looking for a new co-president, someone who will be dedicated to trying to increase activity in the JKRFC and who has time for the challenge. If any of you are interested, please check out the announcements thread and submit an application. Thanks!
