Well, we are now into Day 2 of our celebrations, and we thought, We all say we love Jo, let's now prove it.
Below are a list of questions, some about Jo, some about her work. To take part, complete all the questions you can and PM your answers to me (Nattie), Ari (Monkey Princess) or Jess (PhoenixRising). All answers need to be in by Sunday 10th August.
We just ask one thing. Let this be your own work. We have no way of regulating this, so it is down to your own judgment, but this is more fun if you don't rely on answers from re-reading the books or checking on the internet.

Welcome to the birthday celebrations we are holding in honour of the great lady Jo.
We have a few tricks up a sleeves, bringing to you different activities throughout the week, all done with you in mind. Day 1 started with us testing your nerve with a few dares we thought you could get your teeth into and the opening of our new games thread and grab bag. Day 2 we are testing your knowledge on all things Jo and hope you enter into the spirit of things and give it a bash. Day 3 we are asking you to re-write a scene from the Deathly Hallows. Ever wanted to see it play out a different way? Well, knows your chance to share your ideas. Day 4 is a chance to show off your creativity graphics-style. We have set up a competition for you to complete a banner, Avvie or siggie to honour the great lady Jo. Show us what you've got Day 5 is a daring hunt for the Horcruxes. Set off on the dangerous hunt and find all pieces of Voldemorts soul hidden throughout our favourite site, using the clues set down. We know you can do it. Day 6: Jo Jo Rowling: Yes that's right. A popular dare game.
There's also a wonderful discussion that has just opened up. Be sure to check it out and post your thoughts. Remember, the discussion ia an important part of the FC's so be sure to post!

But whilst you are here, why not have a look around and add to the other threads we have going. We'd love to hear your opinions in our discussion thread, add to our graphics thread and show what you can do, contribute to the letter we are writing to Jo and let her know what you really think or just join us in our main thread to see and add to the ever changing discussions and meet member, new and old.

Diagon Alley |  Day 3 - Re-write a Scene Competition
So, let's get your creativity flowing.
We are asking you to write up yur own version of an event in the Harry Potter world. Pick a scene from below you would like to see play out differently and change it. Be as creative as you live, but we just have a few rules: - As the characters are JK Rowlings we ask that you do not change their way of life, that is to say do not change who they are only the scene in which they are in.
- Keep it within 300-400 words
- All scenes would have to be Pg-13, keeping to the SS rules and guidelines.
- No SS School characters will be allowed to be placed in the story, as it's not true HP.
The scenes up for grabs: Dobby dying - change it so he lives? want it playing out a bit differently. It's up to you! Malfoy Manor/ death of Professor Burbage - The first chapter of the book denoted where the story was going. Had something in mind you want to add/ amend. Now's your time. Bellatrix's demise - not hapy with the original? Think you could have done this better? Why not give it a go!
So, this is your time. Be you're very own Jo Rowling and dazzle us with your work. We're looking forward to reading it. Send your PMs to myself , Monkey Princess, PhoenixRising, Tomasina Riddle or Kami12 by Thursday 7th August, and you can post in here on how you thought you did.

The name speaks for itself; the JKR Fan Club needs a banner, Siggie and Avvie and it's up to you, our amazing members to create one! You have free reign on this, but of course there' rules:
- All siggies and avvies must abide by the SS Rules and Quidelines
- Width no bigger than 450, height no bigger than 200; banners sizes may vary.
- JKR related
You can send them, once completed, to myself, Monkey Princess, PhoenixRising, Kamie12 and Tomasina Riddle.

We're on Day 5 of our fabulous celebrations (Can you believe it?!), and we thought what better way then setting up your very own Hunt for the Horcruxes.
Throughout this site, we've posted links to the 8 pieces of soul, and we need your help to collect them. Read and solve the clues below and they will take you to threads. Find the correct posts they are in and post the links in a PM to either Myself, Monkey Princess, PhoenixRising, Tomasina Riddle and Kami12.
