I was thinking about the news that there will possibly be no Fleur in the last film and seeing everyone worrying about what would be cut or changed to accommodate this.

I was just wondering to myself what JKR thought. Not just of this but for the films as a whole. What do you think she was most upset/ angry/ surprised/ what ever emotion you like at scenes that didn't make it in or were completely changed and thought this would make a good discussion topic. What do you think?

I think that it is just stupid that they might not have Fleur in the last film. She and Bill are one of the main reasons why Harry is at the Burrow anyway.

If they don't have Fleur, they're pathetic. They said that they wanted two films so that they could get mostly everything right. Well, if there's no Fleur, so much for them sticking closer to the book.

Yeah, I would think that JKR would maybe be upset that she's not in the movie. I mean, she was obviously important to the novels. Kinda bugs me but I guess I understand. =/

I've heard that the Gaunt scenes from HBP have been cut. I'm gutted, I can imagine that this is something that Jo would be livid about as it is so part of the story that brings it together. It is such a short scene that explains so much. What's going on?!?

OMGeee! I couldn't agree more! I'm so not pleased with the fact that they're cutting the Gaunts!! The only thing I can assume is that they'll write Dumbledore in telling Harry all about it, but not actually filming a scene. They can't possibly think it is ok to leave that entire bit of story out altogether! And if they do, then they're a big bunch of dunderheads!

Right on! I heard they were thinking of taking out Dumbledore's death altogether,with no mention of it at all but then Jo was like "no' and so they added it if only vagely. I can't believe all the things they'll take out, if it were up to them the movies would be like 10 minutes long!

How on earth could they seriously consider taking Dumbledore's death out of it? That was the best scene on the book and it explains so much for the future/ past plot lines!!!

Which scene cuts/ adaptations do you think Jo would be most annoyed about that has happened so far in the films?

This movie is starting to sound like it may not be very good... I'm actually really concerned about it based on everything they seem to be cutting. The movie is probably going to focus way too much on the Hermione/Ron love issues and the Harry/Ginny stuff, which I definitely want to see included but don't think should be the whole movie... UGH!

I know the romance parts are what everyone wants to see, but that shouldn't be at the detriment to the important plot lines.

I just hope the rumours of death scenes etc being cut are just that... rumours. They can't be that stupid to cut the most highly anticipated scene of HBP!

I'm just hoping they are leaking these ***-bits just for when we watch the film we will be pleasantly surprised. Maybe that's just wishful thinking?!

OK, the news we've been dying to hear.... Jo has written a prequel to the series!!! We can enjoy looking forward to new work by Jo with the anticipation we've all missed for a year.

:O THAT IS SO COOL! How did I even miss that? And they're putting it online for everyone to read! Dude I'm freaking out - I've been dying to see some more information from the marauder time period. I'm glad it's for charity, and that she's not planning on writing another whole novel.

I wonder, most of all, if James and Lily will be together in it, at at what point in their lives the story will be taking place. June 11th, I can't wait! *dies*

Great isn't it?!? Just the news we've been waiting for. I knew that the only way we'd get another HP book like this would be for charity and I'm glad I wasn't wrong. Classy lady or what?!?

I think the James and Lily relationship will be in there, but the relationship will just be starting out. And it would also mention James' parents as well, so it would address that mystery as well. And as it is 3 years before Harry was born, we'll have an idea about what occupations they had or working towards.

I know we're not going to be disappointed! Not long now.

It was great, but it certainly left me wanting more!!!

I think this is the first time I really appreciated why people compared the Weasley twins to them. You really could see the sharp humour come out.

Just one criticism - it was way too short!
