I bet it's a nice release for her. For many years now she's been familiar with the HP world but she's also had the constraints of knowing how it has to end. Now she's free to take another story any way she feels like. She doesn't have to manage the expectations of the fans and until she can take as much time as she likes as we're not waiting impatiently to know what happens next. We all know she's a very talented and creative lady, so what ever she decides to write about next is going to be fab! | |

Well, actually I disagree with you. Jo does have certain constraints with what she makes next because she knows that she has a fanbase. Yes, majority were for her HP Books, but there were also a good portion that also continued reading her books for 'her'. If she doesn't write another good book, then she could easily lose all her fans and just be known forever as 'that HP author'. | |

I don't really know how all this works, but now we've got more officers maybe another PM drop from all of us so the burden isn't all on 1-2 people. If we can go through that list and see who the active members of SS are and bombard them, it may work. Is there a time limit for inactive members for FCs or is it endless?
I know this whole inactivity thing is a bit bad at the mo, but it is also one thing going for this FC. New members can help shape the way it develops as it is back in its infancy. If we maybe go from that angle, it may bring some people back.
(or maybe I'm just talking tosh, who knows ha ha) | |
