Her innate ability to intertwine action, friendship, mystery, romance and magic into a suspenseful and gripping tale has made her a world best selling author. She has stirred countless children and adults alike into reading, sometimes even for the first time; a very noble thing indeed. The subtle intelligence that extends even to character names and descriptions is like a constant puzzle of discovery that gets put together a little piece every day. Jo is an amazing and inspiring woman that I admire very much.

I love JK Rowling's works. Harry Potter is such a great work of art. JK's mind is so darn creative to have created Harry Potter. Thanks to her most of us have a life and have gone into the habit of reading. I just hope she writes more books after HP.

me too! i really love her! if it werent for her...my life would be potterless.....and she really is a great novelist! i think she'll write another series after she finished the harry potter... which i think will be about magic too....and i would definitely read it....of course this is my opinion so dont get your hopes up and if she is not writing series dont blame me....

J.K. is amazing. her books have enchanted me and i cant wait for book7. in all the interviews she's given recently she refuses to reveal the form of snape's patronus and boggart. wonder why its so sectetive. it must be really significant to book 7. she loves to keep us guessing and the 6th book is like a story with a huge cliffie ending. how she tortures us

We owe this entire wold we are in to her. HP is her thoughts that were put on paper!!! I recently watched a documentary on her and found we are more alike than I thought. I am Joanna Kathryn and I am a serious reader. She was very much like Hermione as am I, and that's what makes her a great author.

I don't know if any of you have read THIS but it's... I just love JK, and I love her even more for being so honest and sensible. So yeah.

^Just read it. I loved how mentioned that the one lady noticed her small waist rather then her sixth book and third child. It's the truth. Most people care about appearences first rather than personalities. Ah...silly world. just another thing to make me love JKR all the more.

I actually read that yesterday...hehe. I agree with Jo 150% She is right. Girls should care more about who they are instead of how big their waist is. Not that you should not have a care in the world about what you look like, because of course you want to be healthy and in shape but so many girls nowadays obsess that they have to look like models in magazines. I'm not like that and I don't see the need to be. Because each girl has something special they can share. Sorry to sound like a women's rights and health person ...lol! J.K. is absolutely right!

The wonderful note she wrote to all of girls is so her. I find that even in her writing, she is honest and caring, but then again, that's the mark of a great author.

That article is so true! Girls do obsess about how they look and normally eating disorders etc. happen when a close friend or even a relative calls you fat because it does hurt!!! But at the end of the day, we're all different shapes, sizes, personalities and we should aspire to be ourselves, not the person we see on the front of a magazine.

JKR is very real herself. I think as a child she was also like many of us. I really appreciated the article, like it was from an aunt or big sister.

I'm glad that she is commenting on this issue that is sweeping the nation because many celebrities talk about having a great diet and just changing their lives, that's inaccurate on most cases. Eating disorders are very popular for a great amount of girls around the world, and having people and role models talk about this and giving some knowledge to this illness is great because fans really take to heart what they say. So, I'm happy that she's spreading some truth to the subject.

I agree. I think all girls need the extra backing.
