Thanks I know the surgeon who will be doing my extractions very well (he's my professor and also head of student affairs) and my two best friends will be assisting so that it will be a learning exercise. (It is being done in the OMFS dept of my dental school). Good news is that b/c it is being used as a teaching tool, it costs me next to nothing. I basically pay for my pan radiograph and a consult with the surgeon and then the surgery is free. Pretty sweet huh?

^ Wow!! That part i do admit is pretty amazing!! I know my wisdom teeth extractions were quite pricey... though I think a good portion was covered under insurance, it was still expensive. A professor, eh? Let's hope you're on his good side, which I am sure that you are

Anyone have ideas for anything they'd like to see happen here in the JKRFC?

Tiffanie - Well, that part is good, that it won't cost you too much! That's always a plus.

Ideas for what I'd like to see happen here in the club.... Well, if we could come up with some creative ideas that would be great! I really liked the rewrite a scene idea, it might be fun to expand on that. Maybe put together a card or online scrapbook for Jo from the club, something like that. I'll try to think of more things that might make more sense!

Ooo. I like the card/scrapbook idea. We could use major turning points for the club if we did a scrapbook...like the first 100 members, the birthday bash, etc. Or not, it's just an idea.

I really like the idea of an scrapbook for Jo! Definitely something worth exploring. We could describe our events as Egyptian has suggested and maybe include a bunch of graphics honoring her, poems and what not... any other suggestions?

Remember those letters we wrote to Jo? Did those ever get sent? Because if they didn't, we could always include those in this possible scrapbook.

Oh, that would be cool if the other FCs could somehow be involved in this, since all the people we are honoring here are, after all, Jo's creations.

I definitely think we should involve other FCs in this, and then maybe have a special blurb about our FC, since we're organizing it.

The letter has already been sent, but we could always include similar types of notes to Jo in the scrapbook, especially now that we're opening it up to more members.

Let's think of some things to include in the scrapbook:
- Personal notes
- Graphics
- Poems
- Description of SS
- Description of JKRFC w/ member list

What else?

Should we have the admins write something special? After all, they help us out a ton with the site. And we could maybe include Richard's story in all of this...how he started it, why, etc. Maybe that's getting too personal and specific, but its just an idea.

Other FCs should be involved. Just the character ones, since they're based on Jo, or the actors too?

If we involve all the fan clubs, tell her a little about ourselves and showcase some of the great work that's been done here, I think that would make a most awesome scrapbook that Jo would really enjoy and appreciate.

I'm trying to think of something no one has done before, but I can't think of anything. Too bad we couldn't do something with sound, you know like personalized words of encouragement or something.

Or write a song about Jo, this way all FCs could be involved. You know, like writing a small verse in the song then we get someone to sing it?

^ Sound bites would be very cool if we could figure out how to do it.

I think it might be nice if we had people discuss the impact of each of her contributions on our lives with separate sections for the books, her different charities, etc. Then we could make graphic tributes for each of these sections, etc.

We could do a big podcast of premier parties before Half Blood prince and make sort of a video package for her. That would be unique. Sort of like organize SS premier parties around the world and record them and them compile all of them together and send them to her.

Well everyone would video tape the party, and then upload them online and them someone else would take all of them and splice them together and make it look all pretty or whatever.

I'm doing the St. Mungos' thing it looks really fun. And im trying to write something for the graveyard competition and the JK one.
