I'm considering the Newsletter idea. Because nobody's even sent in any Promotions Officer apps. We need promo in our siggies and that and send out newsletters to all the members and that if we still want to remain active.

I agree. Sadly, the JIFC is dying slowly. Before when we had our own little thread it was pretty active until we got our beloved forum. We had plenty of things in our olf thread to keep it active. Right now, we only have out chat, a few games, and the JIFC forum thing going on.

A newsletter would be awesome! I'm totally in for that. They'll help keep our members informed of what is going on in the JIFC and it is just more organized.

Yep Yep. I've started on the News Posting. Plus i've changed around a few thread names just so it looks more fancy-wancy. =P

I think we should have a graphic for the Newsletter. I should PM Makani on that. Plus tell her about the whole new forum and that.

OK so who's going to do what section? One of us has to do a paragraph on us getting a new forum. An announcements paragraph and an ideas/contributions/current somethings. Or somthing like that. I'd like to do the Announcements one.

Hey everyone! I will be on a cruise in the Caribbean until next week Sunday. I will have the chance to pop on SS for a little bit, but not for long. I will miss you guys bunches! See you when I'm back.

I'm a little curious - what plans do the officers of this club have? Things are slow and it's up to the officers to keep things moving.

As of right now, nothing is planned. I know, it sounds really bad.

We currently do not have any members interested in wanting to be a JIFC G.O. I will be re-announcing this soon. Hopefully we'll get a few members interested this time around.

Linda - I know that you stared a little something in your acticity thread. How is that going? If it isn't going so well, maybe we should try something else?

Zoe - There has been no interest at all in the activity I suggested, nothing whatsoever, so I guess it's time to brainstorm over something that would stimulate interest. We seem to need a really good activity right now that will get more people involved.

Hmm ... I know that we didn't get much for a graphics competition before, so we should avoid doing that until we avtually get more members interested.

Maybe we could make a "competition" and have it be involved with the Trivia thing. Like whoever gets the most Trivia questions made gets a little something.

Zoe - We can try that! Maybe it will get some interest going, I hope. We could give a siggy and avvie set as a reward.

The JIFC needs some serious promotion as well. We don't have as many interested members in the club like we did when the JIFC was just a single thread. It's really sad that it turned out to be that way.

I will PM all the JIFC members and remind them that they are the reason why we have a JIFC and that there is a possibility that it might be taken away becasue of a lack of interest. I don't want this fan club to go away.

Zoe has stepped down as co-president of the JIFC, and so now we have two officer positions open. We need to increase activity in this fan club, so I need all remaining officers (2....eek!) to think of some ideas quickly.

Okay, I am going to list all possible activities that I can think of in my small, tired little brain -

1) Fan fic contest (actually, it wouldn't really be fan fic, as Jason is a real person. How about this idea - We come up with an idea for some sort of film that might feature Jason in a starring role, like a possible screenplay? That's an original idea!)

2) Drabbles (easy, fast!)

3) Graphics

4) Poetry

5) Drawing

6) What about doll making, using the Madame Malkins or elouai programs? See who can make the best doll of Jason!

7) A combination of the above.

Some of these ideas may be a bit far fetched, but I try!
