If he were to play someone else... I could see him as James Potter or Sirius Black really easily. It would be crazy if he were to play a good guy in the HP films I would be like *gaspeth*
If he were younger I think he would be a good Oliver Wood or Seamus Finnegan. What say you all?

I see him as Severus Snape pretty easily as well, with his personality and the way he talks and all. If he were younger, I gotta agree with a good Oliver Wood. He would be awesome being Quidditch captain.  | |

I answered this in the thread but I'll answer it again for the sake of activity...
Definately Sirius Black. Considering he played Mr. Darling so well, I could also see him as Lupin or even Mr. Weasley, kind of bumbling but in an intelligent and endearing sort of way. I could see him playing Snape if he looked different. I think Rickman is close to what I pictured Snape although they don't make him look exactly like what he should in the books (he's not as greasy, doesn't have yellow teeth, etc.). Isaacs is too handsome for that role but that's on a superficial level.
As for a younger kind should he be that age, I could see him playing Ron. He has such a goofy demeanor in real life that I think he could pull that kind of role off flawlessly. | |

I could see him doing Lupin. Mr. Darling in Peter Pan was pretty equivalent a character. His range is broad and I think he'd be able to pull off a character like that, especially when he flips out and goes completely out of character when he gets into a fight with Harry in DH. I could definately see him doing that. | |
