About this role-play:
This role-play will be Daniel Turner's home where any events related to him and his family will be role-played here. Such as parties and other family events. Daniel is a 29 year old male who after having had a travelling job in many parts of the UK has settled for an office job in a muggle firm, but he now plans to get into the Ministry so that he can stick with the Wizarding world rather than alternate between the muggle world and the Wizarding world. He prefers the Wizarding world but due to some muggle family members he is having to work in the muggle world.

First Scene:
Daniel Turner lives here with his parents David and Jenny and now that he has met Leelee his girlfriend he wants his parents to meet her soon, she too has expressed an interest in wanting to meet his parents and he hopes to fulfill both their wishes at a very small Christmas party.

Characters involved:
Daniel, David and Jenny Turner to be role-played by EW_FAN
Leelee Blaze, Minerva Wheatborn, Gabby to be role-played by Bazinga

Leelee crossed her arms and rolled her eyes, "Depends on how you define great. Yes he is a family man and cares about his family, but he turned his back on ours. He doesn't really want anything to do with us because of the business. To dangerous for his family. He was weak, we didn't need him." She said in a bit of a hurt tone. She looked at the clock it was late, but barbie was probably still at it with her magazines. "I'll take another, please and as for the vacation, it's hard to take one when it's your own business. You have to keep up with everything, but maybe I will think about it in the future." She smiled at him as he went to get another drink.

Why did he want to smile whenever she rolled those eyes of hers? Answer was he had no idea, but he refrained from smiling as he listened to her. Oh so he had to make a choice? Wait this family was divided because of the business? that was interesting, weak and didn't need him. Was Edward heading that way too? only time would tell if he would be prepared to leave the business for Gabriela and their future. Well he didn't know what to say to that, he was her brother, so would it be right to say anything? maybe not "Now is the time to catch up then, no mention of the business if you do go. " he felt it would be better if they just enjoyed family time together no business is allowed on vacation he would have to tell her that, he saw her look at the clock and asked for another drink. He got up and stood there listening "Yeah good point it is tougher, yeah do think about it" he smiled.. seeing her smile just made his even bigger as he went and got that drink, he popped the tops and sat down next to her giving her the drink. "There you go, one drink as ordered" he chuckled.

Leelee felt herself becoming a bit light headed from her drink, but ignored it. It felt good to be away from the torment of that house and she was actually enjoying herself here. She took a drink of the newest drink she had been handed and smiled at Daniel. He was so nice and sweet, she felt bad on how badly she could treat him, but that was her way of life. How she always was. "Well I'm not sure if I would even be welcomed there. He'd be to afraid people are following me. He was always a bit dramatic." she chuckled. She then looked at Daniel and rubbed her hand on his face leaning in she kissed him.

Daniel watched as she took a sip of the refill that she had been given, and what was this another smile. He hadn't seen that many in one day before but seriously who was he to complain, those smiles were what made his day better. He listened as she talked about her brother "Yeah I can see how he would think that, but of course you would always be watching out for people that might be following you. So then technically he would have nothing to be afraid of." she would be watching her back everytime she went somewhere so even if there were people following her she would know. He didn't know if it was the drink or if it was Leelee but she actually seemed to be having a good time here, before he knew it there was a hand on his face that he automatically leaned into and a kiss on his lips. This had to be the effects of the drink, maybe this would be the last one he would give her.. he kissed her back.. or maybe not the last one. But did he want the drink controlling these actions of hers? Not really but he didn't want them to stop either. He was now confused as to what to do, stop her or let this carry on. Well for now he was continuing this kiss the rest could be thought about in a little bit

Leelee pulled from the kiss and smiled, "Thanks for not minding me here so late Daniel. It has helped." she felt a bit flustered and decided to put her drink down on the table. She knew she had been dating him for a few months, but she didn't realize how far under her skin he had gotten. She did like him and that was hard for her to think. "I think I have over stayed my limit and you will need rest for work tomorrow. I think I should head home and I will get in touch with you as soon as I'm back. Promise." She leaned in giving him one last longing kiss and then stood up and headed for the door.

As she pulled away he saw her smile, he was having a tough time breathing normally as he looked at her. But he had to talk to her instead of just stare "I never mind you being here you can come as late as you want, how could I mind you being here? I am glad it has helped" he could never mind the woman that he loved being here no matter what time it was, and she could stay for as long as she wanted. Wait! overstayed her limit? there was a limit to how long she could stay with him? he didn't have a limit with her she could stay all night if she wanted, he didn't care work could wait, it was not like he was needed everyday. He was about to protest when she leaned in and kissed him like she had never done before it had him feeling dizzy, then he saw her heading for the door. He rushed after her and blocked her path and looked right at her "Leelee... sweetheart you don't have a limit of how long you can stay, but I won't stop you if you want to go home.. and I most definitely won't stop you from staying. It's your choice" he smiled as he waited to see what she would decide which he would accept, cause he knew that she would have to go back to her home sometime.

Leelee smiled it was cute how he was trying to get her to stay. She put her arms around him and kissed him pulling him close. When she pulled away she whispered in his ear, "I'm not leaving forever" she then pulled away. "I have to go get packed and ready to leave. I will be back in a few weeks, promise."

He stood there looking at her as she put her arms around him, pulling him in close and kissed him... again! all the while whispering in his ear.. he smiled as he listened, well he knew she wasn't leaving forever but it sure would feel like it. He looked her over once more as she said that she had to get packed up, what had she done to him in the last few hours that she had been here, normally he would let her go but here he was wishing that she didn't have to go. Running a hand through her hair "I know you do.. I am holding you to that.. no more than a few weeks" did he just order her to stay true to her word? Ok he had to stop doing that.. that was not him! He then gave her a long goodbye kiss before he moved to one side and opened the door so that she could leave. Was being with her changing him the way it had changed Edward? He wondered if he had changed before but not seen it.

Leelee smiled, "I will be back in a few weeks. It's just collecting on unpaid bills, so nothing to worry about. I'll be back before you know it and then after the wedding we could take a little trip how does that sound?" She smiled as he moved out of her way. "I will see you soon." She got to the porch and apparated back to her house.

Daniel smiled as she told him she would be back, his smile got bigger and he nodded in agreement to the trip.. oh yeah he would love that! He then watched as she got out and apparated and left. Man he was missing her already.. how would these weeks pass by he didn't know.. he closed the door and sat down.. he was in no mood to sleep now.

Leelee walked up to the door and took a deep breath. She knew they were having dinner for Gabby and Edward. They would be here in about an hour, but she knew she had to face Daniel alone first. Her face was gashed, she had stitches in both her leg and stomach he was not going to be happy seeing her like this and she had her guard up for it. Leelee knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer.

Daniel was so excited at the prospect of seeing Leelee again, the way she had left he had been eager to see her again. He had waited long enough he had thought and once he had heard that she was back he had been smiling constantly that even his parents had asked him what was up.. he couldn't hide it any longer and he had told them that he had met someone. They hadn't been happy at being kept in the dark but they understood why he had, after his last relationship it was understandable that he wouldn't want eveyone to know, but he made his parents not tell anyone yet or they would all be expecting marriage.

Just then he heard a knock at the door he practically ran to the door and flung it open and was about give her a kiss when he saw the state that she was in. That was not the Leelee that left.. he frowned "Leelee what happened? Come on in you need to sit. I can't believe this! what happened?" he asked again in some amount of shock at the state she was in, he calmed himself as he looked at her, even like that she was still Leelee.. he leaned in and gently kissed her just in case she was in pain.. he then moved to one side letting her walked into his home.

Leelee sighed she knew her face had a gash in it, but she didn't think she looked that bad. She knew he couldn't see the worse one on her stomach, but realized that she did have a skirt on which meant he could see the stitching in her leg. "I'm fine, I'm fine. Don't fuss." she kissed him and walked into the living room. "Edward and Gabby will be here soon. Oh Gabby is knocked up by the way. I didn't get a chance to tell you that before I left. I found out about an hour before I took off." She said matter of fact.

Daniel smiled as she told him not to fuss.. yup that was his Leelee, all of this and she was still telling him not to fuss. He closed the door after they kissed and followed her into the living room, as he was blown away by what she told him "Are you serious? That was quick work! Not even married yet and with a baby on the way. I guess they couldn't wait to start a family" he chuckled a little.. as he looked at Leelee he couldn't help but imagine having a family of his own with her. A couple of Leelees running around, he looked at the clock to clear his head of this thought. One step at a time Dan don't get ahead of yourself. "You want anything before they come?" he asked looking at her, and before they start preparing for their arrival.

Leelee smiled and gave him another hug. "Thank you for having this dinner over here. Our house is looking more like a bridal shop then a house." She looked around, "I'm good at the moment, what do we need to do before they get here? What is on the menu for dinner?" She felt bad that he had done most of the work and was hoping she could make it up to him at some point.

Edward walked up to the front door holding Gabriela's hand. He knocked on the door and waited for either Daniel or Leelee to answer the door. He thought it was awfully nice of them to host a little dinner at his place.

Gabby squeezed Edwards hand and felt really good. She hadn't been really sick at all which was a blessing she was just so tired all the time. Letting out a small yawn she smiled, "Well this was very unLeelee like. Do you think she is finally coming around?"

Leelee heard the door, "That's probably them. Would you like me to get the door, or do you want to?"

Daniel wasn't expecting the hug that came but once it had done his heart rate increased "No worries.. I am more than happy to have the dinner here, I haven't had the chance to congratulate them so this will be a nice opportunity for that" he smiled as he saw her looking around asking about everything "Erm.. not much.. just that lemon chicken thats in the oven thanks to mom I think needs to come out now by the timer.. yup about a minute to go.. parents have gone to a friends house for dinner by the way.. anyways then theres that pasta noodle thing that I wanted to make is about done.. dont ask about that I kind of wanted to make something nice but hasn't turned out too good" OOPS!! he became all shy and nervous now yeah he had to admit he wasn't a good cook to his girlfriend.. he closed his eyes as he tried to remember what else there was on the menu.. "Mom said that a chicken salad would be good too so that is ready to be served. Plus any drinks that need to be served" maybe this was a bad idea.. he wasn't good at this, Leelee was better than him at this. But he didn't have the heart to say no.

Text Cut: Edward, Gabriela and Leelee

Daniel heard the door just as he was about to go hide in his room for a breather from all of this, first time hosting a dinner thing and that too with other people that he knew.. why didn't he let his mom stay to finish all of this he didn't know.. He looked at Leelee as she asked him "No I will go open the door" he said as he took a deep breath and went over to open the door. Right nerves of steel, mom had done well so at least they had something to eat if his pasta thing had to be thrown into the trash.. he opened the door "Hi Edward, Gabriela good to see you both" he said with a smile as he invited them in "Good to have you both over here for dinner, let me take your jackets while you two make yourselves comfortable.. can I get you any drinks?" he asked .. before he realised what he said "Or even some soft drinks or water" he added looking at Gabriela "Congratulations by the way erm Leelee gave me the good news. How far along are you now?" he asked as he got ready to take their jackets.

Gabby looked at Eddie, "Her guard me, yeah right. Even with a baby I don't see that happening, but it is nice." She smiled just as Daniel came to the door. "Hello Daniel thank you so much for having us over this was very sweet of you." She then blushed thanks Leelee she thought. What people probably think of her be pregnant before the wedding. "I'm only eight weeks, so not to far along and thank you." As she walked into the house the smell of food washed over her, "Something smells really good and I would love a water Daniel if it's not to much trouble."

Leelee was still standing in the living room and smiled as they walked in. "Hello Edward/Gabby. Hope you found the place alright." She turned sitting on the couch. "Daniel if I could have a drink please that would be nice, do you have any wine out for the evening?"

Edward put his arm around Gabby as they walked into the livingroom. Daniel congratulating them . He shot a look at his sister for bagging them on the premarital pregnancy. " thanks, Daniel." he said as he offered a handshake. " Firewhiskey if you've got it.... Thankyou..."
" Good to see you're feeling more yourself, Dear Sister..." Eddie poked fun... " How's the stomache? " he asked as he patted his belly.

Text Cut: Gabriela, Leelee and Edward

Daniel smiled "No worries Gabriela.. it wonderful to have you two over" he smiled as he saw her blush "I haven't told anyone and I won't so you don't have to worry, just me and Leelee know.. well and the father of course" he smiled brightly at Edward.. he knew that these things happened, Gabriela was not the first that he had heard of. He had been too quick to judge her before, he had always seen how happy parent-to-be had been and she was one of them now so she was happy too. He was happy for them, cause who knew maybe this would be him and Leelee soon enough.. ok maybe years down the line. "Oh so not too far along, so it shouldn't be too bad.. erm.. if people start calculating the dates just tell them the baby came a little earlier than expected or something.. I know a couple that did that, went round telling people the baby came a month earlier than its due date" he smiled.. and nodded as she asked for some water "Oh its no trouble at all and thanks.. yeah I am no good cook so I had some help with it" he smiled.. well at least it the food seemed to be well received.. thank you mom.

He followed them through as he heard Leelee greet her brother and future sister-in-law.. noticing the look Edward gave Leelee.. he winced a little.. ok so maybe he jumped the gun a little.. but he had to amend his mistake in offering Gabriela a proper drink.. he was glad that Leelee had told him.. he didn't want them thinking that he was against premarital pregnancies cause he wasn't but it was a shock at first but now he was happy for them. "Yeah sure I do have one.. I will just go get it" he smiled as he nodded and shook his hand "Coming right up Edward" he then looked at Leelee wondering why Edward was asking about her stomach.. Leelee changed her order for drinks and he knew that this was going to be a little tough.

He went into the kitchen moved all the food onto serving plates and turned off the appliances, he knew that some foods really effected pregnant women, so he hoped that the food would be ok with Gabriela. Once that was done he took out three Firewhiskies and popped the tops, lucky he got some more today, he then got out a bottle of water and broke the seal on it and tightened it again. He then brought all four bottles into the living room, three firewhiskies in one hand and a bottle of water in the other. He then went over to Leelee as soon as all the bottles were handed out.

Gabby smiled and took the water, "Thank you so much and I'm not worried about what people say. We are getting married they can mind their own business." She was over worrying about that. It was old news to her now and she was just so happy about her life at the moment. She then looked at Leelee, "Are you sure a fire whiskey is what you want? I remember the last time you were drinking." She laughed but kept watch for an attack from her joke.

Leelee took the drink, "Thanks Daniel" She smiled, but saw the look, "I have a deep gash on my stomach that matches my face and leg." She grimaced knowing he didn't know that yet. "I'm fine though, don't worry." she added quickly.
