Concert time!!!

Ava had seen The Sirens' poster around and she had to be there because 1) Cool people had never missed cool events like this, and she's one of thw coolest third year girls around. 2) Hady and Ilia are in the band, they both are her favorite Slytherins and 3) There's no need a reason why she HAS to be at the concert.

Dressing up, the lioness quickly headed up to the room of requirement. Soooo many people were here already! She's not late, wasn't she? Now it's time to find her friends around. The first people that she spotted was Phillip "Hey Phillip!! She greeted the Slytherin boy. She saw Henry and Noelle too, she gave a friendly wave to them. Where's Henric by the way? He wouldn't miss this because his girlfriend would be on stage, right?

And not only the students were here. Ava spotted Professor Stewart, Myers and Finch too. Hello there, Professors!

This was an all girl wrock band.

Chloe's not so inner feminist, see choice of clothing, was howling with pride. This was what the world needed. Some powerful, incredibly talented (she hoped) women who were doing a stereotypically man's thing. OF COURSE there should be female wrock groups. The Sirens were part of the revolution. And she admired that.

The blonde blew one of the free strands of hair off of her face as she slipped into the Room of Requirment. This was a much better use of this room as far as she was concerned. Women Power. Not whatever it was couples did in here when they thought they were being discreet. Older kids could be so vile.

She looked out into the crowd and stamped down a little flare of anxiety at the sheer volume of people.

Okay. When was this going to start?

It wasn't the first time Dot had acted as stylist for someone, but it was the first time she'd tried pulling together a look for a whole band. It helped that they were all already pretty sure about their own look, and Dot just had to pull those elements together. With their help. So really... she hadn't done anything, right?

But if she hadn't done anything, why had she not spent any time thinking about her own outfit until today? Dot was left choosing from her own closet, without the benefit of charmed improvements. Sigh. Double sigh.

Where was Boyfriend? She wanted to dance. And where was... oh, there was Maddie! And Nat looking fabulous. Dot waved at them.


Bast's girlfriend was in a BAND, which was... not terribly lame, and she'd made a point of inviting Katherine Toussaint to their concert. And although Katy wasn't super duper excited about her brother having a girlfriend who took his attention away from what was important, she was excited about being included in things.

'SPECIALLY now that Bast was gone. She edged in the door with a big plate of sandwiches (because a good guest brought a gift) and looked for people she knew. Like... like... Kelly, obviously, and KATERINA. HIIIII, FRIEND! "HI, KAT, HIIIII."

Paul looked at Kay as if she was insane when she asked him that question right off the bat. There was the hello, and then the...question. He blinked at her...and....laughed gently. "I don't think it's good if we mingle at this event. Might make it lame, you know. We have to be cool, Kay, not sure if you're up for that---but I certainly am!" He uncrossed his legs and switched his position in the chair.

Pfft, Kay. Pls. Don't be lame.

Paul gave a quick nod to Griffin, one of his quieter but astute students, and also Henry, one of his badger children. It was nice to see his students coming to support the band, really. He'd have to talk to Kaycee about their performance in the Great Hall that would happen soon, hopefully. After the holidays, but SOON.

Ansel was here! Oh good. Ansel was handsome, wasn't he? Always polite. "Hello, Ansel. I do see the refreshments. I'm a bit afraid to move, though. I don't want to disturb the aura of the place---some of them still haven't noticed we're HERE--" he was whispering loudly enough for anyone in a 1000 mile radius to hear. "We have to be COOL." You know, not lame. Paul didn't remember that his name was ANSLEY.

And that's when he heard BENTON. Paul WHIPPED around to look at the boy and SQUINT. SEE? They thought the professors were lame. Paul wanted to leave. HE DIDN'T WANNA' CRASH THE PARTY. Ugh. "We will NOT make it LAME!" he declared, loudly, to the boy, though.

Kat got a wave. What a friendly little dear she was! Paul smiled and felt a little better about being here. He wished Milton was with him. Milton tended to de-lame-ify things a good bit. A man in a suit always did. And...Phillip got a wave as well.

"Fifteen minutes or so until the music starts. I'm excited." He told his colleagues. "I think more things like this should happen, you know? We should put on a talent show!" Paul could put the whole thing together, he didn't mind!

It wasn't lost on Rula that this COULD be a date. Of sorts. Maybe. Technically it probably wasn't, since they hadn't actually said it was, and of course a guy could ask a girl to hang out with him without it being a date - Bast asked her to places loads of times, and obviously they weren't dating.

Did she even want it to be an actual date? She wasn't sure about that either, honestly. Sooooo...

She was going to try to not think about it. Just have fun hanging out and listening to Kelly play in her band, and see where it went from there. Seemed like a good plan.

"You did," she replied with a grin. "And thank you." It was a super nice compliment after all. She wasn't going to complain about hearing it. "You look really handsome too." She'd told him that earlier when they'd met up, but it merited repeating too.

She glanced around briefly to take in the room and spotted a few familiar faces in the crowd - Griffin talking to a couple people, Eureka's boyfriend Dante getting a drink, Chloe looking quite pretty, and even Bast's little sister Katy with sandwiches - and they all got a quick smile if they happened to look her way, before her attention returned to Max. "You want to grab some food over there before the music starts?"

OMG there was Alex, Natalia felt like she could breath a little easier. Now she at least could look at him when talking and focus there. SHe gave him and Maddie waves when they waved. Gosh Maddie was pretty, she was super happy for them! There was Frankie, eeep she glanced back at Hady, maybe she hadn't seen him. Let's get through the concert before any emotions started, Merlin knew she had enough of her own.

Did Lily just yell? Nat couldn't help but laugh and give her a huge smile. She had a great support and she knew this so well. It was an amazing feeling seeing everyone coming and being there to hear them. This was a dream come true all in itself and she tried to hold back the happy tears. Natalia really needed to stop being so emotional all the time. Her eyes moved to Dante and Dot, they both got little waves too. Merlin she was getting nervous. NO NAT NO NERVES!!

She gave the band one last look before moving towards the mic once more. Taking a deep breath she smiled, "Hello... hi" she gave a nervous wave to everyone. "First I'd like to thank you all for coming. I hope you have a great night! This was great for the Headmaster to give his approval for us to have this. Our group formed about a year ago and we are so excited to get to play for you tonight. We come from very different backgrounds and inspirations in music which we have pulled in to our playlist so there is going to be variety. I hope you enjoy." Was that okay? Merlin she hated talking.

Okay, okay it was time to get started.. WOOT! "The first song is Avril Lavigne, one of my personal favorites and the song is Never Growing up.. enjoy." She turned to the band and nodded to count them in. It was time, turning back to the crowd nerves left because singing was what she did. She grabbed the mic, "Singing Radiohead at the top of our lungs....With the boom box blaring as we're falling in love" The music was rocking as usual, the band was always great at this one. She was bouncing to the beat and beaming from ear to ear.

"Call up all our friends, go hard this weekend. For no damn reason, I don't think we'll ever change. Meet you at the spot, half past ten o'clock. We don't ever stop, and we're never gonna change" Gosh she loved this song and she was looking out at the crowd, were they liking it? She didn't have time to think about it, she had lyrics to sing and was having a blast doing it already.

Zay was here. He wouldn't miss it for the world. He was proud of Nat for putting herself out there like this and chasing after what she wanted.

He glanced around the room before spotting his gorgeous girl. He snuck his way over, came up behind her, and wrapped his arms around her. He gave her a quick kiss to the side of the head. "Hey." he greeted with a slight smirk.

It looks like they were starting already. How prompt.

Pfft....Henric was already standing right in front of the stage. He even got his self-made fan signboards raised high up above his head (might have accidentally hit a fellow student with the signboard though...oops sorry!) Anyway, he promised the band that he would show his support by being llia's number one fanboy! He was totally clapping and whistling for his girlfriend, hopefully she could see him. He couldn't help but to nudge the person beside him with his elbow,"That's my girlfriend playing the bass!" Grinning widely and continued to cheer. "WOOOOHOOO!! YOU GO GIRLS!" Henric was beyond excited now! Oh and Nat, the lead singer, was about to introduce the first song too! "ALL RIGHT!" Avril Lavigne was one of his favourite female song artiste of all time, what a great song choice! Nodding to the beats of the music, he would definitely going to enjoy their show.

Roman didn't like to be in a crowded place, it wasn't in his nature to mix with the lot of them. As long as he got a great view of the stage, he was fine standing there alone so he could watch the band perform. Crossing his arms, he smiled up towards Nat, proud of her and the band for setting up the whole stage production by themselves. He was wearing dark clothing too, he doubted she could spot him with all the stage lights and people.

Nat's voice sounded great though. He listened to her and watched her act in her element. He'd always know that there was something about her. There was more to her than she let people see. A thrill seeker that begged to be released.

"Sometimes a guy has to choose, Alexander." Maddie smiled up at him, noting the brownie selection. Good, now she could steal some of his since she was more in the cookie mood. See? Boyfriends were good to have around.

Taking a few chocolate chip ones and wrapping them in a napkin, the brunette considered. "Hot chocolate seems appropriate." She paused, reaching to grab a candy cane. "With one of these as a garnish. Peppermint hot chocolate is delicious." Really, it was.

While Alex got them drinks, Maddie turned her attention to the crowd that was slowly building. The arrival of Dot was most interesting and the brunette returned the wave and gave a smile, too. And then the music started and though it was only the first song, the seventh year was impressed. They didn't sound half bad.

"Should we go stand with Zay and Dot?" The boyfriend surely wanted to see his boyfriend and Maddie definitely wanted to move closer to the stage now that things were underway.

As Nat walked up on stage announcing that they would begin in only fifteen minutes Hady couldn't help the buzz of excitement that suddenly coursed through her. This was really going to happen and very soon! All their hard work was going to payoff once everyone got to see just how epic the five of them truly were!

Leave it to Kelly to comment on the blue and gold streaks in her hair. "Thanks mergirl! Streaks are my thing and the colors sooooo go with this outfit," she laughed grinning at her friend. Don't worry Kel we know how much you like these leggings and yes you can borrow them anytime.

What she really needed right now though was a quick drink. To many people had started to arrive now and as the minutes ticked by bringing it closer to the start of their first song her excitement began to fade left to be taken over by nerves. Making her way to the drink table she got herself a cup and some punch. Just enough to hopefully calm herself only it didn't work. Hazel eyes kept returning to the door of the RoR watching even more of their friends and professors enter. Where was Maggie and Zeke? Those two had to come...familiar faces would be good to focus on. And where was her new friend Aramis, he had said he would be here. Were they all running late or had she already missed their arrival.

It was time though and Hady couldn't afford to not being give the band her full attention. Finishing her drink she got rid of her cup and made her way up onto the stage. Sitting on the stool behind her drum set she picked up the drum sticks slowly letting out a deep breath. Calm down Lynch everything will be alright. She had this. Looking out over the crowd and seeing her friends as well as the girls that had become some of her closest friends she knew she had this.

Annnddd then she didn't. Her hazel eyes landed on a blonde. A certain blonde in a red shirt whom as much as she kinda had wanted him there had also hoped he wouldn't show. She froze unable to look away from the boy that only two short months ago had been her boyfriend and she couldn't focus for a split second. Blinking her eyes and letting out a slow breath in hopes of quickly clearing her head she made herself look away and put on a large grin. Nat was already counting them in with a nod of her head and it was very nearly time.

With a wink at Nat that clearly meant 'You got this girl' she gave the drum stick in her right hand an unconscious twirl between between her fingers before she began to play. She was right on cue and perfectly in sync as she should be her energy picking up the further they got into the song. Playing the drums always helped draw in her focus and so far they were rocking this!

Rachel knew that Haddie was feeling down in the dumps about something and this was precisely why she had urged her friend to come along to the concert. She linked an arm through Haddie's. "Cheer up, Haddie. Let's just enjoy the moment. Forget about whatever it is.'' Rachel wasn't allowing the other girl to dwell on the issue if she could. Though she knew the smile wasn't a real one, she was quite pleased there was one and Haddie was up for enjoying herself. "That's the spirit but I'm not sure if you want to be seen dancing with me. I'm not good at it as you know.'' Never the less, she let herself get dragged towards the front of the stage. "They're starting!'' she exclaimed as Nat began with a Avril Lavigne song.

"Oh, Paul!'' Kay laughed. "Please, it's better than sitting in the corner by yourself.'' Her eyes twinkled with laughter. "Besides, you're one of the coolest persons in the Castle. How much more cooler do you want to get?'' She looked around at the call of her name. "Hi, Ansley! Have either of you ever seen the girls play before?'' At that moment, she caught the wave from Phillip so Kay returned it. It was nice to see so many students turning out.

Ilia smiled at Nat when she asked the group if they were ready. "Most certainly, and so are you. Chin up and don't be so nervous....just like any other group meeting except Dot dressed us up." Really that is exactly what the leggy blonde saw this as, an amplified version of a practice session. They'd be together once it was done and Henric would love her either way, and she had no doubts at all in their abilities.

Once Kelly spoke, she turned her head to her with a confident smirk. "Of course I am...we get to show them all what we are made of. We are sirens, heed our song." She felt herself getting more and more pumped by the moment, excitement racing through her veins as if it were her first broom ride.

Was that Professor Myers in the crowd so early? She shot him a huge grin and a wink. Good boy showing up to hear them....she might almost forgive him for the tea incident.....

And of course, her boyfriend was there...right there. His signboard made her ridiculously happy. The tallest goofiest fan boy perhaps and she loved him for it, every bit of him. Her smile said precisely what she was thinking too as she spared him a moments gaze longer than the rest.

Looking around she started to realize just how many people were showing up. Magical Mjolnir...look at that, there were even more professors here....and did that girl (Chloe) have a girl power sort of thing going? That was adorable...

Nat was given a wink at her song start speech, you have this girl. The count in was made and Ilia's lips played a smirky grin as she shifted her electric green beauty into place. Her fingers caressed the strings of the bass guitar and began to make them sing. Her voice raised to echo Nat as the lyrics fell into place, offering a resonating back up to amplify the singing siren.

Her concentration was mostly in her fingers, but she was smiling brightly as she tuned into Nat. Her hips and shoulders swayed and bounced with their rhythm, no way she would ever hold still on the stage. Their energy felt like a surge to the teen, pulsing with fun and wonder and the crowd was barely there.

Bastien had been in the castle for quite some time now, despite having spent a monumental amount of time on his outfit and his commute from Durmstrang. The fourth year had planned on staying a little while after the concert, and so had to drop off the bag he brought along with him, and his jacket. One thing he was glad about Hogwarts was that it was a great deal warmer than his own school, so he didn't need to wear much to this event.

What he did need to do was figure out why his sister was.... well he supposed she could be here with all of the professors (even if he thought them not the best), but why was she serving food? Toussaints did not serve food. As he swooped through the entrance, he placed a kiss on her cheek and promptly took the food out of her hands. She could go talk with her friend. He would catch her later.

It was natural that after putting the sandwiches with the other food and grabbing himself a drink, he went over to his two oldest friends (and favorite) in the room. "You two look great." He gave them a boyish grin as he looked them both over. "If there's dancing I demand you save me one, Ru." Since he couldn't dance with the girlfriend who was in the band. And didn't know he was here.

Surprises were fun.

This music, once it had started, was fun. Even if it wasn't the classical kind that he preferred to listen to. It was still good. And his girlfriend was hot up there, stealing away his attention for a good few moments.

He had other friends he planned on going to bother (yes, you Chloe), but he wanted to stare at his girlfriend for a little longer before he did.

Echo wasn't even sure why he was at this concert except for that this school was SO boring, and he wasn't going to do any of that homework. But just because he was here, didn't mean he was going to be social.

Nope. The sixth year was holding up the back wall by the food, doing a damn good job of radiating his lack of enthusiasm and general aloofness.

He was maybe (but most likely not) listening to the band too.

Alice walked into the concert fashionably late. Because maybe it was polite to show up to things on time but how could you make a notable entrance that way? Besides she was there in time for what seemed to be the first song. Spotting familiar faces around the room, Professor Paul and one of the other teachers, That Dante bloke and a few of her house mates, Alice was more concerned with another familiar face in the crowd.

Because she was silly and could always feel herself grinning a little when she saw the slightly older Slytherin. Making sure her hat was on just right she walked over to Phillip and poked his side, wondering in this crowd if it would be enough to get his attention. She had a feeling it couldn't be TOO hard cause she was herself.





Aramis was also late but for less haughty reasons.His watch battery had stopped working and he wasn't aware of the time right away. He promised Hady he would show up so he couldn't let her down.

Looking a mess the Hufflepuff looked up to see her playing the drums and hoped she saw him. He brought the watch as proof. Cause you know, nothing is worse than an excuse like 'My dog ate my homework' without an X-ray of a dog with homework in its stomach. There was a lot of people here and suddenly he was glad that he didn't have any talents. At least not any that would gather a crowd.

fifteen minutes. They hd fifteen minutes to prepare.
Kali's nerves were shot. She was beyond glad when Kelly came over with a drink. What would she do without her?? She downed the drink and put it aside. "Thanks babe. You ready??" She asked as she looked at the growing crowd. She didn't know if she was ready.

Kali wasn't the socia butterfly as others in the band. She tended to keep close to her friends. Where was Lana?? She said she would be here..... That was the one person she was counting on to be out in the crowd. Her eyes looked around it. Wow. So many people. She had to get herself psyched up. She recognized a lot of them, but she personally hadn't gotten to know them on a deeper level than just acquaintances. Maybe that would change tonight. Kai giggled when Lily yelled. One fan already.

Hearing Nat's voice, she looked over at the front of the stage. It was time. Had it already been fifteen minutes?? Kali looked at Ilia, Kelly, and Hady. She winked at them in encouragement and gave them a thumbs up. They could do this.

Getting into her spot with her guitar, Kali winked at Nat as she looked behind her to set up the band. This was it. Kali closed her eyes and let herself calm down before starting to play when it was her turn. Her fingers knew the strings. She had been practicing non-stop for a while now. Even stopped dancing to practice....
And it was paying off.

Confidence grew as The Sirens played. They sounded amazing! All girl wrock band!!

Wow. So many people. Noelles eyes ventured around at everyone that was here. There were lots of age groups here. Probably from seventh year down to second year. She didn't spot any firsties that she could see. This group must be good.

Noelle made her way to stand by Henry and waved at Benton too. She had talked to Benton a handful of times. She was surprised so many of her classmates were here. She spotted Kat, Haddie, Alice, Chloe, Char and Phillip. Plus a few others that she knew them but didn't know them. Oh!! And yay! Her dormmate Ava was here too! Good, they could gossip about the band later tonight.

Feeling a nudge, Noelle grinned at Phillip. "Hey! Yeahhh..." She blushed and side hugged him. She'd been hiding out lately due to the loss of her best friend that has sent her back in PTSD mode. But with the help of a note and a rememberball, she hd made it out of that dark circle. "Sorry about that. I've missed you. How is everyone?"

The lights seemed to be going down... Oh the band was starting!! Noelle's attention turned to the stage to where the girl was speaking again. Then she was singing... Noelles mouth dropped. Wow.. They were amazing.

"They sound really good, don't they?" Dot immediately leaned back against Zay when he appeared behind her, trusting that he would support her weight. It was loud, wasn't it? But then again... the loud was the point with bands like this.

From what she understood about music. Her experience was a bit more with the classical orchestral type of music, and not because she was a fancy snob.

"Dance with me."


The moment Bast appeared, Katy was SURE she was gonna be in big trouble, but he just stole her sandwiches and left. Like not even a stop and hello. She deserved a hello!

"You look like Daddy in that tie," she called after him before giving a flip of her pigtails and stomping off toward the stage. She was gonna dance and then eat all the sandwiches and then dance more. All night, even.

Bentley had two minds about coming today. He wasn't much fan of any sort of company to be honest and he wasn't sure that he was ready to run into Chloe or Casper..heck, he wasn't sure he wanted to run into anyone....

Though Justin, Rueben, Blaise or Phillip would be awesome company.

Speaking of Phillip..bentley spotted by the boy and waved to him. "Phillip!!!" Yeah, he'd be his company for the evening when he wasn't busy snapping pictures of the reveler and band members.

As he shuffled closer to the boy, camera at the ready, he spotted a certain blonde (Chloe) across the room.

Well....just the person he was trying his very best to avoid.

Looking around the room Kelly noticed how many people were here already. This was amazing. Amazing and also really nerve wrecking. If they messed up a lot of students would be there to witness that.....but they wouldn't mess up. They had worked hard on their performance and they were prepared. Smiling at Kali she gulped down her drink quickly. Of course she didn't want to seem nervous, but she probably was failing...oh well. This meant a lot to then. "I think i am. We can do this babe." The blonde gave her fellow band member a wink and let her eyes search the room once more....

Was anyone she knew here already?! First her eyes landed on Frankie...oh FRANKIE WAS HERE. Holy moly....hopefully this would be okay. Giving Hady a side glance she hoped her friend wouldn't see her ex until they were into the music. Once they were fully lost in the songs they were playing, it wouldn't matter so much anymore...but now? it didn't seem like Hady and Frankie had broken up on bad terms but still... "You look stunning girl. Shine bright like a diamond" A small giggle escaped her, maybe the drink was helping and Kelly was actually loosening up. Watching Hady get a drink as well, she couldn't help but be amused. They all were so in sink. It was really beneficial for the band too.

And then thoughts where interrupted by Ilias voice.

"That should totally be our motto." Ilia didn't seem to be nervous at all and it was good that they had one calm person at least. Of course it wasn't a bad nervousness, this was the opportunity they had been waiting for. The first wave of it had gone already, so many people had arrived and were waiting for them to show what they were made off. The fear of playing in front of an empty room had ceased. Thankfully.

Even though looking at the crowd had her stomach in a knot the blonde couldn't stop. As she spotted Rula and Max a grin spread on her face and she gave them a little wave. It was great that he took a night off of his plans to watch them. Kelly was honored, really. Also, being able to see Rula's face was gonna calm her down. Foodie girls unite!

Suddenly she heard someone yell. Who was that?! Looking at her fellow bandmates she noticed their attention was on Lily and the fifth year couldn't help but laugh. This girl was crazy, in a good way.

But where was her newly adopted brother? Hadn't he PROMISED to come? Dude, he was totally missing his big brother duties. Where was the big banner with mauve girl stinks or some other motivating message?! ....Oh right, he probably fell asleep making it. Dante Barrington, if you didn't make it here because you fell asleep on the common room floor again.....oh there he was! With a wide grin on her face she held her fingers up in peace formation to greet him.


And then Nat stepped forward on stage and announced that they would be starting. Now was the real deal. Now they would be starting. Maybe this was the start of their future. That thought was slightly frightening but Kelly tried to distract herself. Getting behind her keyboard her eyes wandered over to Hady again....oh no. Was she okay? Damn, she had found Frankie. But the blonde didn't have much time to worry about that....As Nat kept talking she smiled at her from behind her keyboard. She was doing well, there was absolutely no reason for her to be nervous about the talking part. She was a total natural.

As soon as Nat started singing all the nerves left Kelly's brain. She was so focused on her keyboard and on having fun with this song that nothing else mattered anymore. This just felt right to her, them together being up on stage. Her fingers hit the keys gracefully and she bopped her head along to the beat of the song. They had done such a good job, choosing this as the first one. It surely would put the audience into a good, dancy mood.

With a huge grin the keyboard siren looked at the people in front of her....and notices Bastien's little sister! Oh my god ! How did she miss her before? Maybe she had just arrived! This was absolutely amazing, maybe after today Katherine wouldn't think she was terrible anymore. Not even a little bit. Winked at her from the stage the blonde could feel her hair swaying with every movement. Everything felt so simple right now, just them and their music and tons of fun. The vibe right now was so catching and suddenly Kelly had a great feeling about tonight.

If only Bastien was here to watch them....

"But I don't wanna choose." Alex replied, mock pouting at Maddie before grinning at her. Honestly though, they could share right? He was most definitely counting on that anyway. Which was why he took a third brownie. So he could bribe her into giving him some of those cookies.

Hot chocolate?

Grinning he leaned in to give Maddie a quick kiss on the cheek (because the prospect of so much chocolate was making him feel quite excited...oh, yeah and also the concert) before getting them both a cup of hot chocolate. "I don't think I've ever had peppermint hot chocolate." He commented once he was back at her side. There was a first to everything though right?

.....and they'd started.

Wow. Alex actually took a moment to just listen without really paying much attention to anything else. They were...good. Yes. They sounded good together. He felt something akin to pride and only realized a second after Maddie had spoken that she'd, well, said something. "Sorry." Right. Zay and Dot. Yes. "Yes. Let's go stand with them." He reached out to take Maddie's hand again before heading their way.

After what had seemingly taken FOREVER (okay it really HAD taken forever) to find the right outfit, Maggie had finally met Zeke downstairs in front of her common room. Like, sorry not sorry. At least she looked perfect now. She did, right?!?! Like, how was she supposed to know what to wear to a rock concert? One that was taking place AT Hogwarts too. So she couldn't really go too over the top or else the band would think she was properly excited about this.

They might think she was a fan.

No, she was mainly just here for Hady. And because she was a little curious. Still holding onto Zeke's hand Maggie entered (fashionably late) just when the band had started playing their first song. Or you know, A song. She wouldn't know just how many they'd played before their arrival. But then again they also weren't THAT late. "Look, there's Hady!" Exciting, wasn't it?

And they weren't half bad either.

She was aware the Bast could still see her, yeah? He hadn't let her out of his line of site since he came in. Even watching his girlfriend (who did he mention was so cool up there?), he still knew where Katy was.

No way he was going to let her stay all night. Just long enough to enjoy a couple of songs and the other Katherine. Then she was off.

So this wasn't horrible, but where was Geth. He thought his brother would be there by now. He was probably somewhere with Amelia and Grif all of the sudden was fine without them there. Thankfully after their talk Geth seemed cool with his way of thinking when it came to who he might like, but the entire relationship stuff was still awkward when the two of them were around. He still felt pressured about things and for that he was glad they weren't there.

Scanning the room he did spot two people that made him smile. Maybe he could hang out with Max or even Rula. The fifteen year old was about to walk over when Rula smiled and waved, but then he stopped. They had walked in together. Did they know each other and were there just as friends or could they be dating? Griffin didn't remember Rula saying anything about dating anyone, but what if she was now and that meant, which he was sure of anyway, that Max would never care for him. The fact that his two kind of crushes and confusion were standing there together made his stomach do a flop and he felt the need to just leave.

He gave them both a nice smile and wave though, because he didn't want it known that he was feeling weird, but turning back to the table he acted like he was looking for something else to eat before he fully decided what he was going to do next.

He turned as he heard the professor say about them not making it lame, "Of course you won't professor. I was just saying if my uncle might join then it could.. " Yeah he really didn't know how else to explain it so he was just going to turn quickly and walk away. Plus the band was starting so that was a good reason to stop talking.


Staying near the food he grabbed a butterbeer and then watched the girls on stage. They were good and he couldn't keep his eyes off the band now, older girls were pretty. Hearing his name he turned to see Kat standing there. "Hey Kat!" Giving a big dork wave. "Not bad for an all girl group." Joking, he was joking.

Zay admittedly liked how Charlotte would just lean back against him. It was nice to be trusted like that. He kissed the top of her head and swayed on the spot. He assumed this wasn't what she meant by dancing, but he couldn't help himself. It was comfortable to have her lean against him like that.

As for the music, they didn't sound terrible. He grinned up at the girls on stage. well done. Especially since they hadn't been together very long.

"What style of dance are you in the mood for?" he asked still swaying.


There were Lexxy and Maddie. He head nodded a greeting in their direction. Hello boyfriend favorite dormmate and dormmate's girlfriend.

Were they coming this way? Maybe. He'd keep from verbal greetings until they got closer. You can't just yell to people at this kind of event.

Gethan was here for one main reason. To support Kelly his skateboarding apprentice. Then again there was supposed to be food so that was a good reason all in itself too. And well maybe the music. That he'd have to wait and see about.

This being a concert though meant he was not going to show up alone. Which he didn't. Dressed in comfortable black jeans, a red button down shirt and his skater shoes he had waited for Amelia in the common room. After many compliments to how she looked he had taken her hand and escorted her to the RoR.

Still with the older girls hand in his Geth looked around at the space before them taking things in. Those girls hadn't done to bad of a job. Even the mistletoe had been a nice touch. Seeing the girls up on stage and starting a song he caught sight of Kelly and grinned at her before spotting his twin across the room too and giving him a nod. "Want me to get us some drinks or something and you can find seats?" That was if she trusted him enough to allow him to go. Not that he minded one bit that she was at his side where he wanted her to remain.


After several weeks of not knowing if she would attend this concert of not Rian-Kate had decided to. For one reason only. Her friends were going to be there. What other reason could she have for coming honestly? It wasn't like she knew any of the girls in the band and chances were she wouldn't even know the music if the band name was anything to go by. Cause really...The Sirens. The name was just screaming loud overwhelming sounds.

Here she was though after having spent some time picking out a nice simple white dress that complimented her long red hair which she happened to have flowers in.

Having not seen any of her friends back in the common room the third year had made her way to the RoR on her own. Walking inside she had to admit it was really nicely made up. That tree was gorgeous! And the stage was huge! She could already hear music and so many people had shown up making it hard to find any of her friends. Where were they all?

Henry gave Griffin a grin when he returned his greeting. "Yeah, I thought it would be fun. Do you know any of the girls playing?" He looked up at the stage to see them still getting ready before looking back at the other boy. "I'm doing great, how about you?" He was about to ask Griffin if he wanted to hang out with him and his friends when he noticed him talking to the Lion prefect. Henry didn't really know that boy but figured he and Griffin were friends. "Come hang out with us, if you want," he smiled at his friend. But no pressure if he'd rather hang with his own friends.

Henry was glad to see quite a few of his good friends already here and starting to show up. This was going to be an awesome time, he was sure of it. He gave a nod to Benton and turned his eyes towards the band again as he mentioned them. "Yeah, they are pretty hot," he agreed, his eyes drifting over each of them. They were pretty as far as girls went, but there were quite a few pretty girls at school here, something he was beginning to notice as of late. And he wondered who else might be coming... Grabbing his own butterbeer, he shrugged. "Oh, I don't know... probably. I heard a lot of people talking about coming, but you talk to Lucy more than I do." And he'd probably know better than him.

He glanced at the professors and shrugged with the hint of a grin. "Nah, I think they're alright. They're probably just here for the music." And maybe as chaperones. Schools usually did that, right? Plus none of them were strict or anything, not like his uncle. And he couldn't help to laugh when Professor Paul loudly retorted that they wouldn't be lame. Alright then.

The thirteen year old gave grins to the girls (Noelle, Azura, and Kat) as they came over. "Hey, Noelle! Hey Azura! Doing great, how are you?" Was Azura wearing makeup? Henry thought they all looked great and totally fit for a rock concert. "Hi, Kat!" He gave her a grin too. "Yeah, I think it's gonna rock... Anyone want some beads or a wristband?" He had a few on, charmed to glow once the lights went down, and was more than willing to share.

Oh, and there was Phillip too. He also got a grin. "Hey, Phillip.. what's going on?" Obviously here to get his groove on. And Ava! She got a wave in return. He looked up again when the lights went down and Nat started to talk. Time for the concert to begin. And he'd have to admit that they he liked what he heard so far. Awesome song.


Lame? They were not here to make it lame. But Ansley couldn't help but to laugh when Paul loudly let a couple of the students know that very fact.

Wait... did he just call him ANSEL? He supposed it was close to Ansley but certainly Paul wasn't that senile to have forgotten his name? And Ansley was a little too polite to correct him. He decided it was something of a nickname. Sure... that's what he'd call it.

"Ah, yes, of course," he chuckled. "But we can be cool." They were obviously the cool ones on staff to be here anyway, right? "The students know it... You want a butterbeer?" He was going to get one, he might as well get a couple for Paul and Kay as well. Once he got up, he glanced over to hear Natalia speak and get things started with the rest of the band. Not bad... but he knew there were many students here with artistic talent. It was good to foster such creativities.

Charlotte was HERE! She was excited about it -her FIRST concert!- and she was totally on a DATE! Totally was! She stepped inside the room first and looked around excitedly. The music was playing already! Or, the band was. The band was playing music already! That was so cool! She didn't know the song but that didn't matter. Was there food and drinks? There would be, right? And her friends, had they all come too? She knew Chloe had planned to come, but wasn't so sure about everyone else since she'd been too wrapped up in the fact that she had a date to ask around and be nosy like she normally might have.

Okay but what to do first? Dance? Eat? Drink? Socialize? Dance? She HAD been promised dances after all, or y'know, somehow managed her date to agree to dance with her. He was right behind her but Char was too busy looking around at how good the room looked to say anything just yet. Lost for words over here! A rare thing for the blonde Gryffindor.

Usually he only heard the words 'you look handsome' from his mum. And getting a 'really' thrown in there basically never happened. Of course he blushed. Again. Probably would be a constant thing, but at least his nose was behaving.

Lucky for him he had a moment to collect himself while Rula looked around, and nodded, rallying at her question.

"Yeah food would be a good idea, come on." He took her hand and tugged her that way, but only because there was a crowd and it would be easier to get through and not be separated. Or at least that was the justification that made it easy enough to do without nerves.


Oh it was Bastien! Max stopped and grinned at his friend. How had he....? Never mind. It was Bastien, these things needed no further explanation after all. Toussaints had their ways.

"Thanks." He said and then had a sudden inward panic.

Wait. Dancing?

Was he supposed to do some of that too? He had no clue how to dance to this kind of music! Where was Joel when you needed a peptalk?

And they were going over to the food and there was Griffin. Max spotted him because of Rula's wave and added one of his own, along with a smile. Great! Someone else he knew, who he could talk to. Especially necessary for when Bast stole Rula away for this dancing business.
