BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM.

Reese’s hand smacked the top of the alarm clock that was sitting on the coffee table beside the couch that she was lying on. She rolled over to face the back of the couch and closed her eyes for a few more minutes. She didn’t want to wake up right now. She stayed up until 3 am cleaning the house and getting everything ready and she only had…she rolled back over to face the digital clock. It was 9:30 am. She only had 6 hours of sleep. Weren’t normal people suppose to have at least 9 hours of rest? Yeah, NORMAL people. She wasn’t normal.

She stood up from the couch and stretched her arms. And- yawwwwwwwwwn. She really just wanted to go back to sleep right now, but her brother (since she was legally adopted by Heath when she was 15, Jake was her brother. Bwaha.) was here and probably wanted some breakfast. Because he needed some food on his stomach before he filled up on junk food at the concert. People who only have junk food in their stomach get sick real easily, right? Right.

She headed into the kitchen, scratching her head as she went. What were they going to eat? Did Lizzie even keep food in this house while she wasn’t staying here? She yawned again and made her way over to the refrigerator. She opened the door and looked at the food that was in there, which wasn’t a lot. Most of the food she cooked was down at the lake already, but all that was junk food. Was there any GOOD food? She saw some peanut butter and also some grape jelly. Hmmm. She grabbed them out of the refrigerator and closed the door. She headed over to the counter and sat the peanut butter and jelly down. Now she just needed some bread.

She turned around and looked at all the cabinets in the kitchen. Which one would the bread be in? She started searching and finally found the pack of bread after looking in 8 cabinets. She headed back over to the peanut butter and jelly, but before she started making the sandwiches, she grabbed some plates out of the sink. She made sure they were clean, and then started making two sandwiches for her and Jake. Then, her phone went off. She rushed back over to the couch, but she got there too late. The phone stopped ringing before she could answer it. She picked her phone up from the coffee table and opened it up. Once she noticed that it was just her mom calling, she sat the phone back down. She’ll call her later…unless she forgot.

She went back over to the kitchen to finish making the food. “JAAAAAAAAAAAKE,” she exclaimed once she was done making the sandwiches. She put the jelly and peanut butter back in the refrigerator and sat the two plates on the table where they would be eating at. She walked over to the sing to wash her hands before she ate.

Lima slowly made her way up to the lovely beach house, her sandals making it a bit difficult for her. She should have opted for flats, she realized. Especially when she was carrying a little boy in her arms.

Making sure to keep her balance, she shifted him in her arm and took the sandals off. Fortunately they were slip-on.

Holding the shoes in her one hand and her son in the other, she approached the door and knocked on it. While she waited for Reese or Jake to answer, she said "remember to be a good boy for mummy today, River."

River was wide awake already and he hadn't been expecting his own mummy to have a concert today. He felt good not doing the usual things he did almost everyday; eat, poop, sleep and then it happened all over again. It was a bit boring really. He started waving his arms in the air and hoping not to slap his own mother in the process. Whatever, it seemed FUN to him! "Mmahh??" he muttered and then stopped what he was doing and just stared at the woman holding him.

Baby freezeee.

And then in a moment he was off again with the baby things. "Uhhhagooblh!" And then his full attention went towards his hand, ignoring his mummy's orders.

Reese finished washing her hands and then she turned the sink off. She dried her hands off with a cloth and then she headed over to the counter. She sat down and began to eat her sandwich. She kept looking around the kitchen, waiting to Jake to come in. Where was he? He was probably still sleeping or something. Just as she took her third bite of the sandwich, she noticed she didn't pour her and Jake anything to drink. She sighed and sat her sandwich back on the plate. She stood up and headed back over to the refrigerator.

You go to be kidding me.

The only things to drink where some cans of coke and milk. All the butterbeer that her godmother had was down at the beach. Well, she could just use some magic to make some drinks appear, but she was too lazy to go to the living room and get her wand. She grabbed two cans of coke and headed back to the counter. She sat one can of coke in front of Jake's plate and the other in front of her's. She sat back down, but right when she did she heard a knock on the door. She stood back up and headed over to the front door. She opened the door...

"LIIIIIIIIIMA," she exclaimed when she saw her best friend standing there holding River. "It's about time you got here!" She smiled at Lima, then she looked down at River. "Hello little dude," she told him.

She sighed as he ignored her. "You know what I'm saying, River. Be a good boy." She gave him a kiss on his forehead. Then she saw Reese open the door.

"Sorry it took a little while. It took a little while to get this one ready." She stepped inside and let River down. "Don't wander off or cause mischief. I'm watching you." She smiled and said turned to Reese. "So how are you? Is Jakey around?"

Jake... was sleepy.

It was, what? 9:30am? He'd gone to bed at freakin' 6am. Not abnormal for him, but still, quite stupid. But BLAH! He was, like, FREEEEEE. Seventeen years of age, nearly eighteen. Should be looking for a job...

... wasn't.

Life.

Was.

Good.

Unless you have a LOUD sister screaming at you. Psssshhh. Women. He'd had his fair share in recent years, especially after that whole ZOMGSUGARRRRR fandango got sorted out.

Ruffling his untidy and shaggy GREEEEEEN hair, Jake pushed himself up from his bed and went to glance at himself in the mirror. He had two lip rings in his bottom lip (snake bites) and eyebrow bar, his right ear pierced in threeeeee places, and the tongue bar.

Excellent.

"I'm COOMMIIIIIIING!" Jake yelled to his impatient sister, heading down the stairs in the long sleeved green shirt and black shorts he'd slept in. Meh, he'd change later.

"Meh, I hate nuts," he muttered in his (now rather deep voice), picking up the can of coke and heading towards the door.

He knew those voices.

Oh yes he did.

River continued to ignore his mummy because he was too dazzled at his fingerssss. He thought he had Superman Fingers, or Superman Hands and he figured he could have beat up his own dad if he wanted to. And that said a lot because his daddy was so giant-ish. He started waving his hands again, not caring if he had slapped her in the face and then stopped when someone opened the door. He froze again.

Little dude? "Nohhhhh, Supermannnn!" He was not little dude. HMPH.

Out of instinct, he wanted to go away from his mummy's hands and go on to Reese's instead. "Reeshhhh!" He put out his arms towards her and then started kicking away from his own mother. "REEEESSHH!" And his eyes looked as though they were almost going to be in tears. He wanted Reese and he wanted her right away!

"Enghhhhrr," he muttered, trying to get away from mummy.

Reese took her attention off of River and looked back at Lima. "I'm good, just a little bit nervous about the concert, that's all. How about you? How are you?" She asked. Lima knew how she was before a concert. She was the kind of person who started to think about all the bad things that could happen, but like always, the concert always turned out great. But, stillllll, anything could happen!

She was about to open her mouth to answer Lima's next question, but then she heard Jake's voice. She turned around to face him and then she put her hands on her hips. He doesn't like nuts? "You are going to eat the sandwhich, okay?" She sternly told him. So what if Jake was of age, he still needed his nutrition and one coke wasn't going to give him all the nutrition he needed.

Geez, was she sounding like a mother now?

She heard River's voice and turned back around the face the little one, who was reaching for her. Awwwww. She had always liked this little boy. She took him from Lima and held him in her arms. "Would you like something to eat?" She asked him. She wasn't sure if Lima and River had already eaten or not, but she was about to find out. She walked River into the kitchen area, hoping Lima would follow them.

"I'm great. I got a good night sleep." Not that that happened very often lately. What with a hyperactive child who thought he was Superman.

Fighting to contain said child in her arms as he flailed and almost hit he in the eye, she added, "No need to be nervous, Reese. It will all go great."

When River hit her in the nose with his fist, she finally gave in. He was calling for Reese and kicking her in the stomach. She was glad when Reese took him.

Following Reese to the kitchen, she said, "what do you have for us to eat around here, Reese? I hope nothing that has sugar in it." Sugar didn't affect River since he was like his father, but she really didn't need to worry about him getting cavities. Maddox didn't put whatever it was he used on his teeth today.

Finally she noticed Jake. "Jakey Wakey," she said as she went over to the boy and gave him a hug. It always seemed so strange to her that this boy with the million piercings and green hair was her Jakers.

"Dude," Jake muttered, lookin at his sister like she was an idiot. Which she was. "I'm not eating it. I don't like nuts."

WOMEN!

Oh... there was that River kid. Hmm. Good guy.

Shame he was a toddler.

"Hey Lima," Jake nodded, raising an eyebrow at the old nickname for him that she was using. Jakey Wakey... eww. "T'sup?" he asked, taking a swig of the coke and leaning against the wall, watchiiiiiing.

If they were that hungry, Jake had a sandwich he wasn't using eating.

River went on to Reese's hands and left from his mother's. He rested his head on her shoulder and giggled. He was happy and happy all over again and eyed his mummy. With his Superman Hands, he waved at her despite the fact she was about 3 feet away. Right now he pictured he was really flying in the air and looking down at his mum and waving at her! She seemed tiny to him after being carried by Reese. That's right because she was the lady in the family and he had to protect her from danger--with of course his Superman Hands.

"Hungrehhh!" He pointed to his stomach and waved his arm in front of Reese's face to get her attention. "Reesshhh, I'm hungreh!" And with that he opened his mouth and sucked on her shoulder.

But he stopped after seeeeing Jake. JAKE. To River, he seemed like a pretty nice guy... but he was scared. You could always see it in his eyes. Even if he got used to seeing him, he was always always scared of the looks. He put his arms around Reese's neck and watched him. "Hewwo!"

So basically to River, Jake was a friend, but a friend he was a bit scared of.

Reese nodded slightly when Lima said not to be nervous. That was easier said than done. She walked closer to the the counter and was about to put River in the chair she was sitting in earlier, but then River wrapped his arms around her neck.

"Oh, I'll find something non sugary," she reassured Lima. Truth be told, everything that had sugar in it was down at the beach. She walked over to the refrigerator and was about to open it until Jake said he wasn't going to eat it.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

"Okay, River, I have to set you down for a minute," she told the little boy. She walked back over to the table and sat River down in the seat, after having some difficulty since he was holding onto her neck. Making sure River wouldn't fall off, she marched over to Jake. "You. Are. Going. To. Eat," she stated. She walked off for a minute to get something from the living room.

Minutes later, Reese marched back into the kitchen carrying her wand. She grabbed Jake's arm and pulled him over to the chair and pushed him down on the chair. She pointed her wand at him and muttered, "adhaero." She stuck the wand in her pocket and smiled at Jake. If sticking him to the chair was the only way to make him eat, well, that's what she had to do. She moved the plate that had the sandwich on it closer to Jake. She picked the sandwich up and slowly move it to Jake mouth. "Open up Jakey," she added.

She merely nodded at Reese and watched her as she moved around the kitchen.

When Jake and her started having a little tiff, she decided that it was best for her to ignore it. It was one of those things between brother and sister.

So, instead of having a say in anything - even Reese sticking him to a chair - Lima picked River up off of the chair and took a seat in it before sitting him in her lap.

"Hello," Jake nodded to the little kid, tilting his head, slightly. Why did he always look at him like that. Meh.

"Well, this is new," Jake stated, somewhat sarcastically as Reese MANHANDLED him into the chair. Evil woman. And... Oh... Dear... Merlin. She did NOT just try and feed him... like a kid. "Give over, dude," he snapped at the girl. "Not hungry. Don't eat nuts."

Taking the sandwich from Reese's hand, Jake set it back on the plate and pushed it towards Lima. But... something in his mind was kind of screaming at him. Something to do with a deathly nut allergy.

...

...

"Enjoy."

When Jake pushed that sandwich in front of her, she scowled at him. She knew what was in it. He knew that she was allergic and he still did that.

She immediately got up and took River over to the counter. She set him down on it then grabbed an apple from the fruit bowl on it. She then peeled it and cut it into pieces for him.

River eyed the scary-looking boy and smiled before realizing what was happening right now. Wait. What was happening? His little 2 year old mind couldn't handle it all! Reese sounded scary to him now. Even his thought of being Superman had vanished because he was well, scared of the whole thing right now. Then things grew worse when he saw a wooden stick. It was a wand. So he'd seen wands ever since he was born and he'd seen what you could do with it.

"Muuummmyyyyy," he said aloud with his watery eyes. He was picked up by his mother and all he could do was turn around and put his face into her stomach. River didn't like what was happening one bit.

He was picked up yet again and was set on the counter. Noooo. He wanted to be on her lap again! But then... he saw apples! It seemed as though he forgot everything that just happened because he liked apples. Apples made him feel better. River got one but before he chewed it, said a polite, "Thank you mummy!"

You were always to say please and thank you in his mummy's house. He was just taught that.

Reese watched Jake push the plate over to Lima and she shot Jake a nasty look. "She's allergic to nuts, you idiot! Are you trying to kill Lima?" She exclaimed and she grabbed the plate and pulled it back over to Jake. She watched Lima get up and walk over to the counter where she started feeding River apples.

She turned back to Jake and shook her head. "I don't care if you don't like nuts, broccoli head," she told him. Well, he DID have green hair. And broccoli was green. So, he was officially now broccoli head. "As long as your not allergic to peanuts, your going to eat them," she added. Since she knew Jake was allergic to them, she picked the sandwich back up.

Was she really going to force the sandwich into Jake's mouth? Heck yes!

She forced Jake's mouth opened with some difficulty and forced the sandwich in his mouth. Once the sandwich was in his mouth, she stepped back a few steps and wiped her hands on her pants. There. She was happy now.

She smiled at her son and kissed him on the forehead as he thanked her. "You're welcome, sweetie," she said ruffling his hair a bit. She knew that food would comfort him. It was a bit irritating that they had to fight in front of him. The poor kid was scared!

She watched him eat, hearing what Reese was saying to Jake, but not commenting.

"You cow!" Jake exclaimed thickly through the sandwich, scowling and nearly GAGGING at the taste of nuts. Soon enough, he swallowed the darn thing and glared at Lima. "Let me up," he muttered, wanting to go back to his room so he could SLEEEEEEEEP.

Again.

The kid was getting frightened, so, yeah. May as well leave somewhere he wasn't wanted.

Hmph.

River from his seat on the counter, wished to put his head in his mummy's stomach again because he did NOT like what was happening. It was like making him watch a PG movie! Even with his mum being here, it was all so scary to him. His eyes went watery again but he continued to eat his apples while watching the whole thing. These were good apples. Mmmmm. He tried to watch as though nothing really happened.

Nope. Didn't work. Superman-acting plan had not worked. Well it had until he'd heard insults. Especially from his Reesh! Idiot? Watery eyes... Kill Lima?! Whoever this Lima person was, he hated the word "kill". That was one of the forbidden words back at the big house they had. Idiot was another bad word. Bad words weren't allowed.

He dropped his apple on the floor.

Tears forming in his eyes, he cried out real loud and flailed his arms in the air, wanting to be picked up. "MUMMMMMEHHHHHHHHH," he shouted out and kicked his feet in the air to get more attention. River wanted to be picked up and caressed and he wanted it to be done NOW.

To unstick Jake or to leave him there? The second opinion sounded like a really great idea.

Reese gently shook her head. "Since I had to force you to eat the sandwich, your going to stay stuck to that chair, okay? Okay," she told him with a smile. She stayed where she was and picked up her half eaten sandwich and began to eat it.

She just LOVED being evil!

She turned her attention to River when he started to cry. She would go and pick him up, but Lima was closer and she could probably calm him down. she turned back to Jake. "Look what you did," she said. "You made a baby cry."

Now she was really mad. Her son was crying for her.

She quickly picked him up and held him against her stomach while making soothing sounds and petting his hair gently. He had always liked it when she did that with him. She started rocking him.

"You both made him cry. Acting like that in front of a 2 year old. You guys should be ashamed!"

And with that, she walked out of the kitchen and into the living room to sit down on a chair with him.

"Hope I'm not interrupting anything."

An older looking version of Karma stood standing in the entryway of the kitchen, looking at the scene unfolded in front of her. Wait - that WAS Karma. Her hair was even longer, she was tanner, but still a midget - and she still looked somewhat like she did at Hogwarts.

"Hope you don't mind, the door was open," she said, smiling. "How are you Reese? I haven't seen you in ages since after my graduation party..."

Her eyes turned to the boy who was stuck to a chair. Was that -- NOWAI. That was Jake Upstead. He had grown a lot, which meant Cam had grown an incredible amount too. OHMAN.

Diana and Emiliano took the ride all the way into that beautiful beach house they were then facing. As entering, they knew the sand had taken over their feet so, they wiped it off. Aww...loveliesss...

One little sound of the past, it meant for Emiliano to just hear some voices. He smiled, leaving her sister standing beside two small backpacks of luggage at the comfortable living room. So, everyone grew up. As well as him, he had now a beard, though shaved constantly it could be noticed and he was taller.

"Good day, ladies and gentlemen..." He said, greeting everyone inside the kitchen, though knowing all had been insults and a little baby crying. Waitttt....baby??? The little boy looked like...Lima...and...Maddox?? Gulp...wow, things had changed a lot since the last time he saw them, which was at the wedding...-whistle-
