Chris had calm down, but he was still moving his had since it still hurt from smacking it on the wall. But then he heard Mel say she would live like a muggle. "So you are just going to forget about the magical world?" He asked turning to face her again.

"That make more sence now." He said nodding slightly.

Melinda shook her head. "I plan to live like one....but it doesn't mean that I will forget about everything I learned, I lived at Hogwarts. It was a place I know I could be safe, I would...fit." She said, taking deep breaths. "And there's no way I can forget about you...you were part of the magic..." She said.

Chris nodded. "You just want a normal life I get it." He said and gulped. "So a Muggle chef? I actaully never would have guessed that." He said and chuckled. He then heard that she would never forget him. "I love you." He told Melinda.

"Ha ha..." Melinda laughed back, sarcastically. "It is part of my dream, then have a family, a restaurant...and being back in England...forever." She told Chris, with a wide smile. "I love as well, and if that destiny is being with you, I want to risk everything..." Melinda whispered, surrounding Chris's chest with with both her arms.

"Oh I love how you have a plan." Chris said and chuckled. "A restaurant? Wow that intresting." He said raising an eyebrow slightly. He then smiled. "Some one told me if this was true love then we will be together someday." He said as he put his arms around her and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

Helena heard something sound like it hit the wall, but she wasn't really paying attention anymore. The couch was much too comfortable for legal limits and her blue eyes were disappearing behind her pale eyelids every few seconds. She didn't want to fall asleep, though. How rude that would be of her!!

"And I'm totally going to stick to the plan..." She said with a wide smile. "...cooking school comes first, then comes the restaurant or the family..." Melinda said, shifty smile.

"We will, it's just...a matter of waiting..." She said the word she hated most as she felt that kiss on her forehead.

"A family?" Chris asked raising an eyebrow. "Now why would you go to cooking school if you were to stay home with your family?" He asked.

"I hope we will. I mean you never now right?" He said. "We only have to wait till I'm done with Hogwarts which is two more years. That's not a very long time." He said to Melinda.

"You don't get it." Melinda said with a giggle. "...first I finish cooking school, then I think if a Restaurant comes next, or the family..." She explained.

"But it's still a long time for me to finish my plans...will you be able to wait?" She questioned him.

"No I don't." Chris said confused. "Oh well see now I get it." He said and winked. But then chuckled.

"Yes Melinda I will be able to wait. I will wait as long as I have to until we are together again." He told her.

Melinda just couldn't do anything but let tears fall when Chris said he would wait any time, so that at the end they would be together. "And what if I'm too late?" She asked, worried.

Chris watched Melinda as she let tear fall. He then shook his head at what she had said about being to late. He put his hands on her shoulder. "Mel I promise you won't be. Because this heart beats only for you. My heart is yours." He told her.

Melinda was feeling time was going way too fast. In fact that alarm from her watch sounded, making an eeky noise that she hated. It was time to leave. Daniel was waiting for her at the Madrid's downtown.

When Chris touched her shoulders, Melinda's hand palms took his hands. "My heart...beats a little crooked" She giggled, "but it only does it for you...I have in mind every day...that I will soon be back with you and nothing...no one will be able to walk me apart from you..." She said.

"But I have to leave now..." Her voice went down to a whisper.

Chris chuckled at Melinda's comment. "Promise?" He asked with a slightly smiled.

He then heard her say she had to leave. "Umm do you want me to walk you to the door?" He asked and bit his lip.

"Pinky Promise..." Melinda's eyebrow raised and took Chris's hand to hook her finger with his. She tip toed to kiss his cheek.

"Sure...thank you..." She said, walking towards the table to get her purse so she could leave.

Chris smiled when Mel hooked her finger with his. But his smile got even wider when she gave him that kiss on his cheek. He kissed her cheek back.

He then took her hand and lead her to the door. As soon as the were there he stopped and looked at her. "So...I guess this is good bye." He said.

Mel's smile went way too wide with that kiss on the cheek. It followed til they were at the front of the door and that's when Chris asked that question. "Nope...I will be at Diagon Alley for a couple of days to see Jade...and some friends, so...I hope I can see you as well." She mentioned with a smile.

"Really." Chris said and smiled. He then rubbed the back on his neck. "So I guess I will see you in Diagon Alley?" He asked. But then hugged her. "Thank you so much for coming." He told Mel.

Melinda nodded slightly, slowly opening the door to walk out of the house. "Really...and tell your family it was a pleasure to meet them. Thanks for the invite about a year ago..." She said with a smile.

But then the hug, one of the tightest hugs she had ever recieved made Melinda completely melt between Chris's arms and chest. She was worthless, she missed him too much. She took a deep breath, held Chris's head with her hands and kissed both his cheeks. "I love you..." She whispered, then kissed him once more, this time on the lips, to later walk away and clean the gloss left behind.

"Oh don't worry I will. No problem, I just hope it doesn't take you another year to come back." Chris said and and smiled slightly to Melinda.

He stayed not moving for awhile. That was until Chris felt Melinda take his head into her hands and kiss both of his cheeks. He was about to kiss her back but then she had said 'I love you.' He smiled. "I love you too." He whispered back. Then he felt her lips on his and she was kissing him. He kissed her back that was until she pulled back, and wiped the lip gloss off of his face. He smiled slightly. "Thank you for not letting me walk back in the room with Lena and Chalice with that stuff all over me face." He said in a soft voice to her.

"Promise..." Melinda said, smiling at Chris as she opened once again the door to walk out. "And no problem..." She said, mouthing one last I love you to Chris then taking steps outside, to later disapparate and apparate back in her room at an unknown house, Daniel's home. She bit her lip, still feeling those kisses.

Chris watched as Melinda left but mouth I love you for she walked out. Me too he said also mouthing. But then he watched her disapparate. He gulped he felt a pain in his stomch, an empty sort of pain. He sighed and shut the door.

He walked back into the living room where he found Lena fighting off sleep. He sat down next to her again. "Tired?" He asked as he then saw his hand. Wow he did do a number on it. There was a big old bruise across his knuckles.

"Still, I shouldn't have lied. I know you don't like being lied to." Chalice said. "I know! You are the big brother I never had, except cooler cuz you actually hang out with the geeky chick with pink hair."she said laughing. "Still, I couldn't deal with that. I have too many guy friends." she said with a smile. "That was amazing as usual!" she said serenly. "Hey, I should go. My dad will be at the house to find it completely empty and he'll be fuming. Thanks for letting me chill aroud here for a while. It was just what I needed." Chalice said. "Bye Chris. Bye Lena. By Melinda. It was nice to see you all. I hope to talk to you some time over the summer or something." she said as she walked toward the door.

"It's not really that big a of deal." Chris told Chalice. "Your big brother. Yeah I guess I like that." He said and laughed. "Oh come on you're not geeky. I your hair is different but cool." He said. "Well thank you." He told her smiling. "Umm yeah. Alright bye Chalice." He said to her.

Then turned to Lena. "Then there was one." He said joking.

"Okay, I still promise I'll try not to do it any more." Chalice told Chris. "Yeah, I never really had siblings. I'm glad you like it, I like having a big bro." she said with a laugh. "I'm actually pretty geeky. I even write poetry when I'm bored." she admitted. "I'm glad you like my hair. It changes as often as I do." she said. "Thanks for having me and my issues. I appreciate it and let me know if I can ever help you in any way." she said and smiled back. "Bye. Jason will be fuming right now. I'll get some pictures of it and send them to you. You look like you need a laugh." And with that Chalice headed to her house and to the worst summer of her short life.
