Relieved that Harry wasn't just going to ignore her as she sat there, Cho gave him a small smile. Even though she was supposed to be all over him, the Asian really didn't know where she stood with Harry. Were they to be friends? Were they to be awkward friends? What were the boundaries between them?

"I'm alright." She managed as an answer. What else could she say? Tell him that she was still pining after him like a little school girl? Tell him that she wanted him to break up with Ginny so he could be with her? "What about you?" She asked, taking a small glance at the busily chatting redhead. "You seem...happy." She strained, knowing exactly the reason of his happiness.

Giving Lo another worried look, Serena couldn't think about it anymore. Their plan had already started with Draco insulting Cho. This was the time to see if Cho could live up to her role. This was the time to see if Cho had any Slytheriness in her and see if she could act her part out.

Seeing Malfoy's hidden wink, she smirked inwardly. Time to put her drama queen skills to work. "I am not." She defended herself loudly. "We're just innocently talking, Malfoy." She said, glaring at him. How dare he accuse her of flirting with Harry right in front of his girlfriend!

Serena looked at Draco and back to Chang. They really needed to get the insults going if they wanted a reaction from Potter. The girl wasn't sure that Harry would defend Cho if Ginny wasn watching, unless it was some really horrible words. "Innocently talking?" Serena laughed, repeating what Cho had said. "Didn't look like it at all. Potter, did you miss how she was staring at you? Or are you just completely blind?" She said cruelly, looking at the jet haired boy. "And god Chang, it's time to give it up." She sneered.

Eyes widening, she looked at Summer horrified. Hair and makeup?! What happened to taking the transformation slowly?! She couldn't believe this. Feeling herself forced into a chair, she stared at her pale reflection. "Summer..." She trailed off and than stopped herself. If this is what it took to get Ron's attention again...well so be it. She would do it.

Closing her eyes, she let Summer do her thing. Hopefully this would turn out for the better. "Thanks Summer." She said yet again with feeling. Hermione couldn't thank the girl enough in helping with her revamp.

Summer giggled, "Of course! Just doing what I love." She said, brushing a dash of blush acrosss Hermione's cheeks. Summer admired her project briefly before clapping her hands together. "Okay, girly, you can look!" She told her in a dramatic tone.

Hermione's hair was sleek, straight, fell to a few inches below her shoulders(thanks to Summer's muggle tool - a hair straightener) and a single, thin, red headband held it all in place. Her face had been transformed! Hermione's skin was clear and mosturized. Summer had curled and thickened her eyelashes, added a touch of eyeliner under her eyes and used a neutral eyeshadow on her. She'd also added a touch of lipgloss to Hermione's lips and a dusting of blush on her cheeks with a bit of glitter.

"So! What do you think?!"

ooc: sorry I haven't been posting regularly. My keyboard screwed up and we had to use a darn On-Screen Keyboard for awhile, and it got kinda tiring after awhile.

Jacob laughed. "Oh, Em, you have a laughing problem or something." He looked around. "So what are we going to do? Be unsocial all the time?" he asked his friends.

Opening her eyes, she just sat there silently. No words were coming out of her mouth. It was because she couldn't think of anything to say. Eyes wide, oogling her reflection, Hermione couldn't believe it. This was what she looked like? All dolled up with the help of Summer? The bushy haired brunette, well, she wasn't that same person anymore.

Running her hand through her silky smooth straight hair, Hermione couldn't believe that this was her. What a transformation! Opening and closing her mouth repeatedly, she turned to look at Summer. Her brown eyes were shining with excitement. The girl couldn't wait to see the look on everyone's face when they saw her, especially Ron. "Thank you so much Summer. I don't know how I'll ever repay you." She thanked graciously.

Taking another glance in the mirror, Hermione tried a smile. Awkward but it was good enough. Glancing down at all the products Summer had used, Hermione grimaced. Beauty did cost. "Let's set a date so we can go to Hogsmeade and get me all that stuff." She said gesturing to the beauty supplies. "Especially that hair straightner." She said pointing to the godly item.

Draco smirked as Cho acted normally towards the group. She was a very good actress. Watching her converse with Harry with no anger in her voice made him appreciate that maybe she really could be one of them, rather than another allegience to the trio.


Draco smirked watching Cho fight back to the insult that he had given her. "Right Chang, so you're not still pining over Harry Potter the chosen git?" He asked raising an eyebrow. "And innocently, how can you be talking innocently in front of his new little lovesick girlfriend?" He asked, turning to Ginny, another of the Weasley family, they were an ongrowing bunch.



Draco laughed a menacing laugh at what Serena had said. This was it, this was sure to get Harry's attention. Surely he would fight back now, what with his girlfriend sitting next to him. As if he would let people like them, Slytherins, attempt to spoil any happiness that he might've found.

Lo laughed along with Draco, watching the two sitting there, not knowing what was going on. Something in her cracked, and made her want to join in. She wasn't like this, no, not like Serena and Draco. But something had risen inside her, something different. Now she was enjoying herself, still find the little people boring, but she was beginning to see the fun side of it. She looked back over to the boys sitting several feet away from them. Would they join in? Would the join their ranks? She turned back to the Gryffindors in front of her, and folded her arms.

ooc: Honestly, I really dislike when people drop out of RP's without any acknowledgement. I think I'll be taking over Ginny for now. But thank you everyone else who's stayed <3

Cho glared at Draco, although there wasn't too much fire in her eyes. Willing herself to be angrier to make the scene more real, she shook her head. "It must be a happy thing for all your ex-girlfriends if they aren't friends with you anymore after they've finished with you." She retorted back. She had been "innocently" talking to Harry. That was all. Right? Right. And Ginny knew that right? Right. Well, Cho hoped she knew, casting the red head a glance.

Ginny glared at Serena Roberts. Who did she think she was? Hanging off of Draco like that? The "Queen" of Slytherin. Ok, fine, maybe she was. But still, honestly, who was she to insult Cho. They really did seem like they had just been talking but...was Ginny really that blind. Had she missed some hidden signals that Cho had been sending to Harry?

Hearing Lo laugh, Serena flashed her friend a smile. Finally, it seemed like she was herself again. The blonde knew her friend didn't partake in the bully as she and Draco did but the way Lo looked this morning had her friend quite worried.

Summer grinned. She'd done a job well done. "Your welcome." Summer replied, running a hand through her own shiny blow-out. "I think there's a Hogsmeade trip in three weeks - the end of September. Wanna go then?"

Quill tried a smile. "Of course not... but I do say we keep out distance." He said, "It could be problamatic if we get too close to anyone here." Quill added, shrugging.

Draco glared, making the scene look more real, but he didn't know what to say to that, he really didn't. "When they've finished with me? Oh now that's where you're mistaken Chang, when I'm finished with them," he said with a sneer. "Why would I want to be friends with them again, if I've broken up with them?" He asked, rhetorically of course. "Now Potter here, no, he makes no sense. Why would he ditch you for one of the many Weasley kids?" He asked, smirking at Ginny, the red head who was sitting there silently.

Lo saw Serena flash her a smile, she smiled back. "Look at you," she said, turning to Ginny. "Sitting there so naive, so innocent," she said with a leer, knowing that she shouldn't be talking to the girl like that, but she had been. "Why don't you bite back? That is your precious boyfriends we're talking about," she spat. Why didn't she have that happiness, a boy on her arm. She shook the thought, and glared at the silly red head.

Jacob nodded, but knew everything that was going to happen already did. Well, the being close and all. If any of them had imprinted, then it had to have already happened. He wasn't for sure if he had yet, since it hadn't had time to sink in or anything.

"Come on, let's go walking or something," he smiled.

Hermione nodded eagerly. "For sure!" She said. This definitely had to be one of the first times in her life that Hermione was eager to go shopping...for clothes. Standing up from her seat in front of the mirror, Hermione smoothed out the small creases in her clothes from sitting down. "Let's go to the picnic now, shall we?" She asked, linking her arm through Summer's and dragging her out of the Ravenclaw tower. Hermione couldn't wait to show everyone her new look.

Cho opened and closed her mouth repeatedly. She really had no idea how Harry could leave her for Ginny. Sure, Cho had cried a lot when they first kinda of got together but she had been suffering through some hardships. She had thought Harry of all people would have understood her pain. How naive she was. Of course he didn't understand. Or...he didn't want to. The Asian couldn't even answer Draco.

Ginny flushed angrily at Draco's words. Did he mean that he had no idea why Harry would ever leave perfect beautiful athletic Cho Chang for someone like her? Hearing Lo's words also took another bite at her. Her not stick up for herself?

"Harry choose me." She said pointedly, not even caring for Cho's feelings right now. She wanted everyone to know that, no matter how stupid it sounded when she said it outloud. Wow, I definitely sounded really insecure right there. She thought to herself.

Serena laughed as she heard the pathetic sentence coming from Ginny's Weasley's mouth. "And he choose you because there was no one left of his fan club." She said wickedly.

Draco stood there staring at Cho, waiting for an answer. He looked to Serena, to Lo, and then back at Cho wondering what had gone wrong. Recovering from his confusion he placed a smirk on his face. "What's wrong Chang?" He asked, begging her to respond. "Can't think of a comeback this time?" He added, hoping that Harry hadn't begun to suspect anything.



Lo laughed evilly. "Aww, Harry chose you did he? Gee, what an accomplishment." She said with a roll of her eyes, responding to the pathetic line that Ginny had spoken. This girl really needed to open her eyes, to understand you can just sit there thinking all is well.

Draco laughed along with Lo at what Serena had said to Ginny. "Aww, little Ginny Weasley, you were part of his fan club all along though now, weren't you?" He asked, with evil eyes.

Quill sighed and nodded. He'd actually found the red-haired girl at the table next to theirs to be very attractive. But still.. the no distance thing was for the better.

"Kay. Come on Embry." Quill said, walking after Jake.

Summer giggled and nodded, skipping after Hermione, although ever careful to not wrinkle her new outfit.

Standing on the front lawn, Summer tossed her long blonde hair behind her shoulders and pushed her sunglasses up on the bridge of her nose. "Where is everyone, Mione?" She asked her friend in an impatient tone. Although friendly and overexcited, patience was something Summer lacked in, a lot.

Jacob glanced back at his two friends. He flashed them a little smile and kicked a stone in front of him. "Hey, I've got an idea. Let's go swimming." His brown eyes danced with both mischieviousness and excitment.

"I don't think you're worthy of one." She said angrily back at him. Blinking rapidly, the Asian willed herself to cry angry tears. That would definitely set the act in stone. Although, she wasn't too sure that Harry would approve of those. Fine. Watery eyes then. She thought to herself, easily being able to force her eyes to fill up with tears. "Get lost Malfoy." She said, making an inappropriate hand gesture.

Ginny flushed red. The redhead was embarassed and angry. If they hadn't invited Cho, than none of this would have happened. Sure, they still would have came over and taunted them, but nothing to this extent. Glaring at Lo, she reached into her robe pocket and pulled out her wand. Maybe it was time for a small duel to shut their mouths.

"And I heard you were too, back in your first year." Ginny said, smirking at how Harry had told the story. "Seemed like you wanted Harry as your friend back then. Why didn't you become friends?" She asked. "Oh wait. It's because Harry's too good for you and rejected you." She teased.

Hermione laughed and took her hand, leading her over to where a small group of people were gathered underneath a familiar beech tree. "Hey guys." She said happily. The smile that had appeared on her face disappeared quickly though. Surveying the scene, she noticed Cho's red eyes, Ginny pointing her wand at a pretty Slytherin, a familiar blonde linking arms with Malfoy and Harry sitting in between Cho and Ginny. Uh oh. "What's going on?" She asked, even though she knew full well that the Slytherins were here to cause trouble.

Quill grinned at Jake and then at Embry. "Now theres an idea!" He replied, already racing towards the lakes edge. "Last one there is a bloodsucking leach!" Quill yelled, eager to transform into his werewolf form but strong enough to resist the temptation.

Summer grinned at her friend as Hermione led the way behind a large beech tree. Glancing at Mione's somewhat panicked expression, Summer beamed at everyone. The mood here needed to be fun and light-hearted, Summer style

"Hello all! We've arrived! And doesn't Hermione look fab-u-las?!" She asked in an excited tone, whipping off her fashionable sunglasses to get a good luck at everyone's expresssions.

Jacob laughed and ran after his friend to the lake, laughing like a maniac as he did so. He took his socks, shoes, and shirt off and ran into the cold water. But it didn't effect him; his body temperature just made the water around him warmer.

Quill stripped off his clothes and cannon-balled into the lake right next to Jake. "Cannon-ball!" He screeched, flailing wildly into the cool lake water. "Ahh, nothing like a good swim, eh?" Quill said, resurfacing and splashing Jake and Embry playfully.

Jacob laughed and splashed him back. "Nothing like it," he sighed, floating on the water. "This is the life, eh, guys?" he laughed.

Hermione flashed Summer a worried half smile. Something wasn't right here. Yes, she looked good but what did that matter right now if Ron was too busy fuming and glaring at Malfoy. The redhead she had tried so hard to get her attention off was too busy staring at his enemy and two pretty Slytherin girls to pay her enough attention.


Serena turned around, hearing the loud screams and splashes in the nearby lake. Seeing Jacob, Quil and Embry strip off their clothes and dive into the lake, she nearly laughed outloud to see them. The blonde had the sudden urge to join them. How fun would it be to just jump into the lake with them? But she couldn't. She was making fun of the Gryffindors right now.

"Really? Oh no, here come the waterworks. Cho, the famous babbling banshee," Draco sneered with a roll of his eyes, as tears began to well up in hers. I hope those aren't real tears, he thought to himself. "Clever comeback Chang, clever," he sneered, and looked to Harry. "By now, I suppose you feel pretty helpless don't you?" He asked with a laugh. Squeezing Serena's hand, he smiled at her. Their plan was beginning to work.

Lauren laughed evilly. "Oh, look, she got her wand out of her pocket. Such a big girl," she leered in a sarcastic tone. "Better watch out Serena, we're in big trouble," with that Lo laughed, and rolled her eyes. "So pathetic," she spat, glaring at Ginny.

Draco turned to Ginny his eyes fireing up. "Harry's too good for me?" He asked, laughing at the silly girl. "Funny that, I thought I was too good for him," he sneered. "Chosen Potter was never anyone I would befriend, if only for a bit of glory myself," he snapped, glaring at Ginny. He then ignored her and turned back to Cho and Harry.


Lo turned around quickly, coming face to face with the infamous Granger. Although somehow it looked as though she had been transformed. Then she noticed Summer. Of course, she thought to herself. "Well, look who it is. I nearly didn't recognise you Granger," she said, turning back to Ginny.

Out of the corner of Lo's eye, she saw the three boys in the lake. It took all her strength to stop herself from jumping into the lake with them. Ignoring the thought, she payed attention to the scene infront of her.

Glaring at Draco, Cho refused to let the tears drop by blinking rapidly. She couldn't let Harry see the water that was threatening to leak from her almond eyes. Actually, maybe it would be good. Maybe he would actually do something... She said, taking a sideway glance at the quiet Harry Potter.

Blinking hard, she felt a few teardrops fall quickly, leaving a few wet drops on the blanket that they were sitting on. Looking at Draco, she grimaced, although smiling internally inside. Turning to Harry, Cho quickly apologized for all of this. "I'm so sorry Harry." She said, wondering if this would get a response from him. "Maybe I should just leave now." The Asian said getting up from her spot.

Serena looked over at the redhead and burst out laughing at her pathetic attempt to threaten them with magic. Pfft. It wasn't like they couldn't do it either. The blonde reached into her pocket with her free hand and pulled out her wand also. Raising it to point back at Ginny, Serena sneered slightly. "Try it." She dared, ready to shoot a curse back at her or to raise a shield charm to protect her, Draco and Lo.

Ginny re-adjusted her grip on her wand as the blonde rose her's to her face. The redhead smirked slightly. This pretty full of herself Slytherin was going to get a taste of her Bat Bogey hex pretty soon. Hearing Draco's laughter, Ginny took her eyes of the blonde for a few precious seconds. "Harry will always be too good for you." She said, moving her wand arm to point at Draco instead now. How she would love to hex him into a snail or something. Maybe change him into a ferret again. That would be hilarous.

The minute Ginny's arm moved over to face Draco, Serena stepped forward. "I'm your opponent Weasley." She said, being the overprotective fool she was. No one was going to touch her Draco and her best friend Lo. Did she really just think of Draco as her own?

Hermione looked at Lo and shook her head. She really wasn't sure why this Slytherin decided to hang out with Malfoy and Roberts of all people. Sometimes she wondered if Lo was really a Slytherin. She didn't seem like she loved hurting people, so why did she follow the two blondes?

Draco smirked, this was going perfectly. The plan was working extremely well, and Cho was a most convincing actress. He watched them as they spoke, an evil grin appearing to his face.

Harry watched the situation unfold, watched as a few wet drops appeared on the blanket he was sitting on. He looked over at Cho as she began to appologise. He sighed, he didn't want her to leave, but he didn't want Ginny to think any of it. "It's alright, stay will you?" He asked, taking a hold of her arm, just before she would leave.

"Would you just leave Malfoy? You and your little, well, whatever they are," he said with a dismissive wave of his hand. They were beginning to get on his nerves.

Lo watched Serena pull out her wand and smiled. If it was a battle they had wanted, it was a battle they were going to get. She then peered over to Cho and Draco's side, to what was happening there. My, looks like they've made progress, she thought with a smile. She then turned back to Ginny, and glared.

Draco cackled at what Ginny had said, and then even harder when she pointed her wand at him. "Have we grown up now Ginny?" He asked, stiffling his laughter. She was such an odd girl, but then again, she was a Weasley. He pushed his hand into his pocket and held onto his wand, although he didn't pull it out, he was just getting ready if needed.

Draco smiled as Serena protectively moved towards Ginny. He then whispered to her in a leer, "Don't do too much damage now." Did this prove that Serena liked him back? That she had feelings for him?


"Don't shake your head at me," Lo spat meanly. Hermione, the little know-at-all, now more attractive than she was. This was a shock, but she wouldn't let it affect her. She then looked around at the others, wands were raised, tears were falling, it seemed like a sitcom. She then peered back over at the lake. If only she could join them.

Jacob looked at the group, all of them in a sort of arguement. It seemed that it would break out if they didn't do something soon. The Protectors, he thought. "I'm going to see what's up, okay? Follow me if you want; I'll be back, though," he said, and got out of the water, heading toward the group.

"Guys, what's up? Do you need to fight like this? Let's be civil," he said. The bloodsuckers and werewolves get along better than this, and we're mortal enemies! he thought, a small smile on his face. "Why do you guys need to pick a fight?" he asked the Slytherins, knowing they were making fun of the Gryffindors on purpose.

Cho's eyes widened when she felt the warmth of Harry's hand as he reached out to grab her arm and to hold her to her spot. A tiny little flutter of butterflies stirred in her stomach, just by this small gesture. Really now Cho. This is pathetic. You can't start to like him just because of this. She reprimanded herself.

Looking at Harry, she nodded. "Fine." She said, casting a quick look at Ginny to see how she would make of this. Surely, she couldn't be happy. "But I don't want Ginny to get the wrong idea." She said, as she made eye contact with the redhead who's eyes had darted down to the contact between her and Harry.

Ginny saw red. She couldn't believe Harry was just going to let her stay here. She was the reason why their picnic had ended up so badly. Well, actually she couldn't blame it all on Cho. Draco and his posse would have found some way to make fun of them but Cho was definitely the fuel to this. Why were they being so mean to her anyways? It was like Draco hated her all of a sudden.

Glaring at Harry and at Cho, she would sort that out later. Right now, she might have a duel on her hands. "I've grown up quite a lot Malfoy." She said angrily. "And luckily enough, my dueling skills have grown too." She said, still pointing her wand at Draco.


Serena turned her face slightly to give him a small wink. She wasn't going to let Ginny step all over her like that. She could forget it. "No worries love. She'll hopefully live." She said confidently, wand still at point with Ginny's pretty face. The blonde was effective at dueling. It did help when she had older male cousins that loved to pick on her when they came over for dinner.


Hermione looked at Lo shocked. She hadn't been shaking her head at Lo in particular. Just at the situation. "Sorry..." She said quickly, not fully realizing that she was actually apologzing to a Slytherin who was a major factor in this mess. The brunnette looked the Slytherin over. She still wasn't sure why this girl was involved in all this. Why didn't she just leave? Or was she scared of the wrath of her friends?

Serena turned at the sound of a new voice. It belonged to Jacob. "Civil?" Serena repeated as if she never heard of the word before. "I don't think that can ever occur between us." She said, knowing that Jacob probably understand. How would he know that the hate between Gryffindors and Slytherins was stemmed from centuries ago.

"Heck it is!" Quill cheered in, relishing the feel of the cool, clear water on his hot skin. Diving underwater, he caught glimpses of Hogwarts students staring at them. Again. Trying to ignore them, Quill concentrated on fooling around with his two bestfriends and enjoying the lake water.

"Aww Jakee." Quill whined slightly. He was beginning to enjoy himself when Jacob Black: Defender of All had to go and save the day. "Let's go see what he's up to Embry." Quill said in a somewhat annoyed tone, hoisting himself out of the water and followed right behind his best friend.


Summer's girlish and excited facial expression soon drooped until her normally sunshiny smile turned into a really annoyed and somewhat angry one. "Hey!" Summer exclaimed at Lo. "Don't be talking to my friend like that girl!" She said, clutching her wand in her hand. Although somewhat of an airhead and a fashion diva no one could deny that Summer was an excpetionally talented witch. A gift that she herself often chose to ignore until times... well times like these.
