Hady was glad that Adi didn't mind her hugs at all seeing as he wasn't letting go of her all that easily either. However she couldn't hug him forever of course so the birthday girl once more let her big brother go, the bear tucked nicely in the crook of her left arm up against her chest. "I've missed you too, next term is bond to be incredibly strange without you there." It was going to be sad looking around and not seeing him there smiling, the same went for Benny and Lux as well, not to mention all the professors gone. Sad times. Not today though. The mention of chocolate frogs had forced a huge grin onto her face. "Of course! Just so you don't go holding them all wrong now," Hady teased elbowing Adi lightly in the side. They HAD to be held by the leg. Everyone knew that. "Yes! Let's do this!" It was time for some chocolate frog eating!

With more people showing up and walking straight towards her in was easy to lose sight of those behind her for a brief moment. Sorry to anyone she hadn't greeted yet! A girl was heading right at her and though she honestly didn't know her very well Hady knew she was close with Dante and so had invited Eureka in hopes of getting to possibly know the girl better also. Nothing wrong with making new friends! "Hello, I'm glad you were able to come," she greeted softly with a light smile. It was hard inviting people you didn't know well , never could tell if they would truly come or not. Being handed something small the know fifteen year old accepted it. "Thanks." Unwrapping it reviled a button for a Pro-Creatures Club. This got a smile right away and she even fixed it to her dress. Mhmm she was all for creatures. "Awesome! What's the club entail?" Details please! Before she could think though she was handed another gift a small box which she unwrapped showing the snake earring. A snake people! This earned another grin which she sent at Eureka. "Cool! Thank you!" Surely she would be wearing this. How did she know she liked snakes though?

Catching the smile on Zeke's lips when she said she had coffee she only smirked at him. If anyone knew of her love for the stuff it was him. Maybe that's how Yoongi knew what to get her? Then again she was always drinking the stuff so that could've been how too. Anyhow it wasn't important how he knew. Coffee was her thing and she was more then happy drinking the stuff all day long. In fact the thought sounded like a great idea...

Oh, she didn't need to be told that she was right. She knew she was. Maggie would've got her revenge on Dante had he not shown up here at the party. Laughing quietly the brunette gave her head a small shake. "I know. So it's a good thing you came." Taking the wrapped gift that was handed to her she lifted her gaze from the small box to her friend with a laugh. "You're that forgetful Dante?" How could he forget when he was carrying it around. Though she had moments like that herself so it was possible. Hazel eyes lowering back to the box in her hands she carefully opened it the snake pendant inside earning another grin from her this time directed at her fellow snake. "You know me pretty well, hmm?" she hummed softly adding a second later, "Thanks I really like it." Now where was her dad so he could charm all this stuff for her so she could wear them already?

Hady cast all her friends a smile once again quickly slipping away to set her presents on the table for the time being. With a small grin she set down the Batman Bear now official called Adi right in the center of the table. Perfect. Grabbing one of the iced coffees out of the basket from Yoongi she gave it a quick shake before twisting it's cap off and taking a sip. Mmm. Coffee.

Austin had just filled a plate up with food when someone was calling his name. "Hey, Adi!" The boy was surprised he remembered his name. Even if he was a fellow 'Claw. "Enjoying the party?" Austin was going to make a point to keep conversation. This was something he had major issues with last term. In the end, the boy spent most of his time in his room, looking over his torn up potions notebook. But today was different. He was going to be active, and maybe make a couple of friends along the way.

As he took a bite of pizza, he noticed a girl (Eureka) who looked a little lost. Or maybe out of place? Either way she didn't really have anyone to talk to. So Austin made it his business to talk to her. He knew what it was like to have no one to talk to, and he wasn't about to let it happen to anyone else. "Hey there. Some party, huh?"

By the time he arrived at the party, Benny was glad he had sent notice to Adi that he was running late. While he was thoroughly enjoying the ministry internship, it was taking up more of his time before the start of Uni that he hadn't expected to not be free. And it was why he hadn't been able to apparate to Hady's home when he had wanted to. Not to mention it wasn't someplace he had been and he really hadn't had much practice apparating since he got his license having been in school.

But the former Gryffindor had arrived and headed to where everything was happening. He looked around for at least two familiar faces, the birthday girl and his boyfriend. And maybe anyone else that he had any connection to he'd be happy for too. Of course there was a lot of people already there and the gathering helped him find Hady and Benny approached the Slytherin with a friendly smile.

"Happy Birthday, Hady," he greeted, his hands empty since the gifts Adi had hopefully remembered to bring were technically a mix of both of them.

Henric smiled a little sheepishly towards Hady, "Yeah...well it's nothing, I really hope you like them." She was surprised that he could bake but that's alright, she wasn't the only one. Not many of his school friends knew about it until he baked a batch of pumpkin pies for them. Besides, they never asked. "I'm still a novice, sort of have an interest in them lately so I started baking for fun. I had help from my dad too, he's a chef," he told her. If Henric wasn't so committed into studying magical creatures and dragons after graduation, he could try out for culinary school as an alternative. His parents would be proud of him either way, he mused. "Hope you're enjoying your summer break too, amazing party you've got here and you look great by the way." Henric complimented her on her outfit. Hey, he wasn't blind. Although, he had to remind himself every now and then that he got a wonderful girlfriend/snakette behind his back.

"Adi! My man!" Technically, he was Benny's man but he still gave the former Hufflepuff a tight bro hug back. Henric saw Benny too and gave the former gryffindor a manly greeting with the arm gesture and everything. Hope Benny wasn't too shock. Heheh. "Its great to see you guys again, yeah its been fun...working most of the summer, as always. How are you two?" he asked the pair of them.

Then Dante started mentioning about his summer job. He grinned,"Yeah, it was alright I guess, thanks for stopping by at the restaurant,mate. I almost didn't recognise you, Dante, and your dad seemed pretty cool too. Drop by again if you do happen to visit that area, the drinks will be on me when we're all off-age, I even serve them myself, alright?" he chuckled playfully. Anyway, he hoped he liked the food served in his parent's restaurant.

Taking off their clothes? Henric couldn't help but chuckle at Hugo's suggestion. Well he did bring his swim shorts along and was totally excited to be jumping off into that huge pool! He was just waiting for the right opportunity to do so but before that, he had to grab something to eat first!

Paige was running late, but it was not without a good reason. Altough she felt far too selfish to divulge in such explanations when today was meant to be Hady's special day. So, hopefully no one would even notice that she had slipped in late. Hopefully.

After her step father had dropped her off by means of side-along apparition, the now fifth year made her way towards all the cheerful noises with a small wrapped parcel in her arms adorned with a green ribbon. Within was a box containing her own homemade chocolate dipped crisps and handmade flower crown made from flowers she had picked herself. She had wanted to buy something additional for Hady, but her budgeting had prevented the luxury this time.

Hopefully that would not serve as her second strike on the day. The first strike still to be revealed but it made her feel a little more at ease that Thornton would be in the same boat as she was.

Now...where was Hady? There were so many people!

Shifting from foot to foot a little bit trying to ignore the urge she had to just kick her sandals off and walk barefoot, Hady watched as her friends began to form small groups and talk to one another. Even Austin had gotten right in there into the mix and things and was talking to people. This was going better then she had planned so far. However the food and swimming needed to happen soon before people started growing bored.

"Hi Benny! How are you?" she greeted warmly slipping away from her small group to give the older boy a light hug. Hey, he was the boyfriend of her 'big' brother which meant he was family too and family got hugs. Sorry but not sorry there Benny. "Thank you, Adi's over by the food checking out the chocolate frogs." She pointed to where the former badger was laughing quietly.

He hoped she would like the cupcakes? Come on Henric. Who didn't like cupcakes?! Hady smiled slightly. "I'm more then sure that I will. It's cupcakes after all." That explained the reason why the dessert would be liked, didn't it. Yeah she was sure it was clear. "Nice! I can bake a few things but mostly things I've made with my parents a million times." So it's more like a habit then actual baking. His comment brought a slight hint of pink to her cheeks it taking her by surprise. "Oh..well um thank you, I blame Maggie for the dress thing she wouldn't allow me to wear anything else." Credit all goes to you Maggie. "My summer is going alright so far, yours?" Nothing she could complain about so far.

Out the corner of her eye Hady noticed someone else arrive and excused herself from the small group for just a moment. Making her way towards Paige with a small grin. "Hey, thanks for coming!" she greeted waving at the girl.

"All of Hogwarts will miss me,'' Adi joked to Hady. "But I won't let you miss me, okay? Like I promised, I'll write to you loads! If you like, you can visit me sometimes.'' He was sure Benny won't mind if their friends stopped over at times. Adi laughed. "Of course not. There is only one correct way to hold chocolate frogs.'' He winked then playfully tickled her. "I wish we could race now but the birthday girl has to greet everyone.'' Look at all the guests arriving! So many familiar persons too! Adi looked back at Hades who had the bear in her arm. "Any idea what to name him as yet? Oh yeah, the gifts are from Benny and I.''

While Hades of was off greeting her guests, Adi had wandered over to the food laden table. Gosh! Such a feast! He grabbed a frog then turned back to Austin. "Where there's food, I am bound to enjoy myself,'' he said with a laugh as he held the frog by a leg. "How's it going with you, Austin? Looking forward to another year at Hogwarts?''

It took Adi a while to realise that Henric had spotted Benny because he had been a bit confused. But all of that disappeared when he spotted his boyfriend. "You made it! Internship had you busy, huh?'' Not that Benny had been too busy for him. ''You'll be seeing me later down in the summer, Henny. I'll be dropping by to levita- I mean to eat all those pumpkin baked treats.'' Hehe.

Smiling, Lux hugged Hady for a moment before pulling away. "I'm great! Really happy to be here! How are you, birthday girl?" Hopefully really happy; she certainly looked it! "I didn't really have any trouble finding the place. I just was worried I'd be late."

Clearly she wasn't the last person to arrive, so that made her feel a little better. Looked like everyone was having a lot of fun and she would be joining them soon.

Adi got a friendly wave. "Hippogriff!" It was really nice to see him and he got a hug. AJ, Angel, Henric, and Benny got enthusiastic greetings as well. "Hey, guys! It's so good to see you!" She pulled AJ and Angel into a hug because she had missed them.

She was so happy and excited right now!!

Looking around curiously, she wondered where this Frankie Hady had talked about was lurking. She just HAD to meet him.

Her eyes shifted then to what AJ had been dragging along and she couldn't help but laugh. "Nice AJ! Very very nice we'll have to make sure to hang her up somewhere soon!" Cause who didn't like a giant unicorn pinata? No one that's who!

Her grin didn't waver at all as people kept arriving one after the other and greeting her. Each got the same smile, grin or slight smirk. Some even granted a hug if she knew them well enough or if they had hugged her. Other didn't need anything but a simple nod of her head and that was good too. Hady smiled once more at Brooklyn watching her go to put her things aside. Okay this was working out as planned so far. Everyone was either talking to someone, sorting their belongings or going to eat.

How she had missed Frankie of all people arrive was probably a mystery in itself. He was the one she had maybe sort of been keeping an eye out for. Strangely enough she hadn't spotted him probably due to the fact that she had her back to the doorway where Maggie was when she had greeted AJ and Angel near the pool. It was also possibly that even though she had grown two whole inches so far this summer AND was wearing sandals that had a slight heel she was still shorter then everyone there.

WAS THAT A UNICORN PIÑATA THOUGH?? Maggie's eyes were locked on the present Hady had just received when someone touched her waist. Oh. Hi. Deciding that she was going to simply observe for now until something interesting happened, Maggie jumped a little when she suddenly heard a voice beside her. "Hey!" Ooh. It was Frankie. And he was talking to her. And he was HERE! She grinned at him. "She's....over there." She nodded towards the pool where Hady was standing.

"I'll take you!" Yes. Because he needed someone to guide him. Before waiting for an answer, Maggie simply took his arm, grinned at him again and then started walking towards Hady. "What did you get her?" She whispered, leaning in a little to make sure nobody overheard.

Resuming his grinning, and his pizza eating, Zeke fell into step beside his girlfriend, his head leaning in close to hers so he could hear the exchange. What'd he get the birthday girl, huh?

A smirk appeared on his lips when Maggie jumped at little at the sound of his voice. Had someone been caught off guard? Heh. Frankie took the moment to relish in his minor accomplishment before he heard Maggie mention that she knew where Hady was. But, before he could look in the direction where she had nodded, his arm had been grabbed and he was being dragged toward the pool. He wanted to cause a huge fuss over that, but the blond was going to try to be on his best behaviour today.

Not too soon after the trek toward the pool began, the two were joined by Zeke. Frankie gave his roomie a head nod and took note of the pizza he was eating. Where was his slice, dude? He was about to ask where he could get himself some pizza when Maggie whispered at him. Oh. Right. The green box in his hand. "You'll just have to wait and see," he replied, grinning. It was Hady's gift after all. They'd find out what it was he got for her when she did.

Speaking of Hady, he finally caught sight of her and couldn't help but blink a few times. She was ... wearing a dress? He briefly turned his head toward Maggie and Zeke. Was this real life or was he dreaming? Someone give him a quick pinch just to make sure? Frankie had never seen Hady wear a dress before, and he honestly hoped that this wouldn't be the last time he'd see her in one.

"Hi, Hady," Frankie said, still gawking at the sight of her in a dress. He saved himself from staring at her for too long, however, by looking to Maggie and Zeke, then down at the box in his hand, and finally back to Hady. The blond presented the green box with the gift inside. "Happy birthday!"

"Now that is certainly the truth. I can name a bunch of us right now that will be missing you. As for me I'll owl you just like I promised, I'm even bringing Riddick to Hogwarts this term." Having her own owl will make it easier to stay in touch. Oh, she could really hope and visit him and Benny sometimes? She'd love that! "Yes! I'd like that a lot Adi just so Benny is good with it." Hady looked away from Adi for a moment to check out if anyone else needed her attention. She was okay for the minute. "As soon as everyone arrives we can eat those frogs, yeah?" While holding them by the leg of course. With a large grin on her face she looked down at her bear that was from both Adi and Benny. "Yep. Adi meet BatAdi!" She laughed hugging the stuffie tighter.

Hady stepped back from their hug when Lux began talking to her. "Oh, I'm doing great. This day couldn't get any better, all my friends are here." Shaking her head at Lux's comment of being late she caught a glimpse of blonde hair and not from Maggie. Hady shifted her eyes towards the three people headed her way. She gave both Zeke and Maggie her usual grin before looking at Frankie. Hey Frankie," She greeted quietly totally aware of the look she was getting from him. It had to be the dress. That was the only thing different about her today. A small blush crept onto her cheeks and she glanced away for a second before looking back at him when she was handed a green box. "Thanks," She smiled at him carefully lifting the lid off the box her attention focused on the flower necklace inside. "It's beautiful, thank you." Wearing it now would be okay right? Yeah, it was a gift and one that should be worn just like everyone else's would be worn or used later on. Carefully taking it from the box she held it out to Frankie. "Help? He wouldn't mind helping her put it on would he?

Kaycee was not late, okay? She'd been busy trying to find something that looked appropriately attractive for someone who was not having a birthday and was not the person that planned the party. AKA, Maggie probably would have killed her if she came looking like the hottest girl there.

Anyway.

She scanned around to see who had arrived so far. And wasn't surprised with what she found. This is what it was going to be like from now on, huh? They'd just all be paired off in the same place. She made a face. Hady seemed to busy with, who she assumed, was Frankie. There was D. And Maggie. Both of who were busy.

But whatever. She was allowed to bother Maggie whenever. She went over to her best friend and nudged her with a hip. "Sup?" she greeted. Zeke got a smile and a sup nod in greeting.

The place wasn't too crowded but not too empty either. Hugo was fine with that.

He slightly laughed at Hady's comment, "So she made you wear this?" yeah, you Maggie, he now just spotted her and nodded at Maggie " I do, you look pretty Hady" he said sincerely. Before he could say anything else to Hady, more people started to appear. He smiled at Brooklyn and gave a what's up nod to Zeke.

And there was also a piñata, that stuff was awesome or so he has heard. He wanted to give it a good strike.

He looked at Dante "Once the girls are in their bikinis then I will" and smirked. And Frankie has arrived. He was going to keep an eye on him and Hady. Just for curiosity. Nosy Anyways, Dante went over to talk to a girl. Maybe she was the one he had mentioned before? Probably. He later was going to stop by and join them but in the meantime, he walked over to Brooklyn. "Having a good time?" even though they were in the same house, he had rarely talked to her.

Benny watched as Hady responded, greeting him as she came forward. “I’m good,” he admitted, accepting her gentle hug with one of his own as deserved as the birthday girl. “You’re welcome,” the former Gryffindor added, following her mention of his boyfriend as well as the point to where the familiar form of Adi was easily seen over at the food table. Somewhere where he would have easily expected to find him. “Must go make sure he doesn’t eat them all,” he teased with a chuckle as he took his leave.

Benny was taken aback when Henric seemingly found him himself stopping his progress towards Adi, an arm coming around him suddenly in a manly hug. “Hey Henric,” he greeted tentatively, feeling a touch awkward for a moment or two until he was released. “Good to see you too.” Working…that meant the younger badger was likely as busy as he currently was. “And I’m doing well, just busy,” the future dragonologist answered, “but it’s exciting too so it’s all good.” Life really was a bag of tricks and treats after graduation, once one got the hang of it.

Speaking of treats, the boyfriend had finally followed Henric’s lead in acknowledging his presence. “Yep…I made it.” A nod following in silent confirmation of Adi’s question. Busy…busy…busy. But this party was part of his relaxing for now. That didn’t mean his other half didn’t get eyed for the half-remark to Henric that he was very well aware of where it had been going. No more levitating of the poor boy. Especially not after all that had happened the last time.

There was a Lux in the house! “Hey,” Benny greeted back, offering one of his more genuine smiles. She was one of the rare girls and fellow year mates he had ever gotten close to. “It’s good to see you too.” Which it was. If only she had been there at Hogwarts their final year, though he completely understood why she had left. He wouldn’t have come back if he had been captured and nearly killed and eaten by acromantulas. Especially given his extreme fear of anything spider related.

Yes. Well done complimenting the dress, Hugo.

Maggie only glanced at Zeke for a brief moment when he showed up again and started walking next to her and Frankie. Sorry, boyfriend, but the other Gryffindor was a lot more interesting right now. Especially the contents of the gift he was carrying. So she quickly turned her head back to smile sweetly at Frankie.

Well, now THAT was no way to treat your bae's friend, was it? He could have at least hinted at what he'd gotten Hady. Pfft. But before she got the chance to say something, they'd already reached the birthday girl herself. Which meant she was soon to find out what he had gotten her. Not that she really cared anymore. It would've been cooler to know before Hady.

Anyway, the looks Frankie was giving Hady (and her dress) did not go unnoticed and caused Maggie's lips to curl into a smirk. Hady totally owed her. Totally. Taking a step back from the two, Maggie directed her smirk at Zeke before glancing around again. She'd missed the arrival of a few people. Some of them interesting, some of them not so much. Among the first group was Eureka (who had already found Dante, good) and Paige.

Ooh. And Kaycee, hi.

"Hey! I'm glad you came." She grinned at Kaycee. Now, the thing was that most people were either talking among each other or were focused on the birthday girl. Ergo, not much of the attention was directed at herself. Which Maggie decided had to be rectified. "We should go in." She decided with a nod towards the pool and a quick smirk to both Kaycee and Zeke.

Good plan right? Maggie was quick to get going too, taking off her dress to reveal the bikini she'd worn underneath. Now, if that wasn't enough to catch everyone's attention, she didn't know what was. Walking to the edge of the pool she tested the waters - literally - with her toes. It was a little colder than she would've wanted it to be but there was no way to change that.

Hady had noticed another arrival (Kaycee) only it would be even more rude to leave where she was just then, then to go and greet the other girl in a few moments. However she did send a slight grin and a small nod of her head in the girls direction to show her that she had indeed noticed her.

Made her wear it? Nah. No one could 'make' her wear something if she didn't want to. Well okay maybe that wasn't entirely right but yeah whatever. "Well not exactly. She just said that if it wasn't a dress she'd drag me back inside and have me change until it was something 'suitable' for the party," Hady replied with a teasing smirk directed at Maggie. "I did pick out the dress and everything though." Her party fashion consultant simply told her that the outfit was a nice one. Hugo's comment though got a smile out of the not so small anymore but still smaller then most snakette's. "Thanks Hugo." The compliment was much accepted.

"That's good I'm glad everything's going well for you," she smiled taking a step back as she let go of their hug. She had heard about progress in what he was trying to become and all that. Yay for dragons! Hady glanced towards the food tables once more at Adi. Adi eat all the chocolate frogs? Gasps. Never! "Okay, I'll catch up with you both in a few moments I agreed that I'd eat a few chocolate frogs with him today." And she was keen on keeping that agreement to the fullest very soon. Watching Benny go join Adi her eyes shifted back to the taller boy in front of her. Frankie once more had her full attention.

Yes. She had noticed Maggie heading for the pool. Nice work getting things moving along fellow snake! Hady would be joining them all in the pool very shortly as well. That was just one thing on her 'to do' list for the day.

He'd worked his way through his pizza slice and was onto his veg, he held out his selection in case Maggie wanted to help herself, but it seemed she was too preoccupied with his dorm-mate. He wasn't fazed with the not-knowing part though, cause it wasn't that big a deal.

Still, Zeke watched with mild interest, snacking as Hady unwrapped her gift. A necklace. Smooth one, Frankie, smooth. Zeke nodded his approval - not that it was needed, and as soon as that was done his attention was back with Maggie. And Kaycee. "Hey," he greeted. And speaking of new arrivals, Paige was here too... she got a wave, cause, HEY. He would have approached her too, had it not been for Maggie's looks and the suggestion of a swim.

Yes.

Definitely a yes.

And she definitely had his attention.

Not needing any convincing, Zeke pulled off his shirt - and yes, you're welcome ladies - abandoning it with Maggie's dress and placing his sunglasses and cauldron cake on top of the pile. He would be back for that later. For now though, it was time to make a splash, and a splash it would be. "Banzai!" And with a short run-up, Zeke dived into the pools depths, surfacing only after having swum the length of the pool under water.

He was late, even later than all the other people who had considered themselves late, and Dima was sure it looked much worse at a party for someone he didn't know yet. It wasn't without good reason, but that made it no more polite, so hopefully his arrival would go unnoticed.

The sixth year made his way over to the gathering of seemingly younger kids, towering over quite a few of them with his height. Dmitriy had a wrapped gift basket in hand; it contained some sweets from Sugarplums along with a couple pieces of light jewelry, and it was decorated with flowers like the ones he knew Maggie enjoyed. He would have liked to personalize the present more, but there was only so much he could do for an almost stranger. Maybe next year, he could get Hady something nicer.

So... where was the birthday girl? Or Maggie? And was that Thornton's GIRLFRIEND?

If he got a choice, Dima called dibs on her as his social crutch for the day. Killing two birds with one stone, that would be.

Shaking her head at Lux's comment of being late she caught a glimpse of blonde hair and not from Maggie. Hady shifted her eyes towards the three people headed her way. She gave both Zeke and Maggie her usual grin before looking at Frankie. Hey Frankie," She greeted quietly totally aware of the look she was getting from him. It had to be the dress. That was the only thing different about her today. A small blush crept onto her cheeks and she glanced away for a second before looking back at him when she was handed a green box. "Thanks," She smiled at him carefully lifting the lid off the box her attention focused on the flower necklace inside. "It's beautiful, thank you." Wearing it now would be okay right? Yeah, it was a gift and one that should be worn just like everyone else's would be worn or used later on. Carefully taking it from the box she held it out to Frankie. "Help? He wouldn't mind helping her put it on would he?

Maggie only glanced at Zeke for a brief moment when he showed up again and started walking next to her and Frankie. Sorry, boyfriend, but the other Gryffindor was a lot more interesting right now. Especially the contents of the gift he was carrying. So she quickly turned her head back to smile sweetly at Frankie.

Well, now THAT was no way to treat your bae's friend, was it? He could have at least hinted at what he'd gotten Hady. Pfft. But before she got the chance to say something, they'd already reached the birthday girl herself. Which meant she was soon to find out what he had gotten her. Not that she really cared anymore. It would've been cooler to know before Hady.

Anyway, the looks Frankie was giving Hady (and her dress) did not go unnoticed and caused Maggie's lips to curl into a smirk. Hady totally owed her. Totally. Taking a step back from the two, Maggie directed her smirk at Zeke before glancing around again. She'd missed the arrival of a few people. Some of them interesting, some of them not so much. Among the first group was Eureka (who had already found Dante, good) and Paige.

Ooh. And Kaycee, hi.

"Hey! I'm glad you came." She grinned at Kaycee. Now, the thing was that most people were either talking among each other or were focused on the birthday girl. Ergo, not much of the attention was directed at herself. Which Maggie decided had to be rectified. "We should go in." She decided with a nod towards the pool and a quick smirk to both Kaycee and Zeke.

Good plan right? Maggie was quick to get going too, taking off her dress to reveal the bikini she'd worn underneath. Now, if that wasn't enough to catch everyone's attention, she didn't know what was. Walking to the edge of the pool she tested the waters - literally - with her toes. It was a little colder than she would've wanted it to be but there was no way to change that.

Not needing any convincing, Zeke pulled off his shirt - and yes, you're welcome ladies - abandoning it with Maggie's dress and placing his sunglasses and cauldron cake on top of the pile. He would be back for that later. For now though, it was time to make a splash, and a splash it would be. "Banzai!" Did she like it? Frankie hadn't noticed Hady's blushing because he was too busy looking at her dress and then worrying about whether or not the gift he had for her was something that she would want. The easy route would have been to get something green or snake-like, but something a little more meaningful seemed appropriate after the many hours they spent together doing all that Animagus research. And then there was that other thing too, about him liking... ANYWAY.

He caught Zeke's nodding and flashed him a quick grin before turning his attention back to Hady, who was now examining the necklace closely. The blond's heart skipped a beat as she did so. He did good, right? He had picked it out on his own and everything. A quiet sigh of relief left his body when she commented that it was beautiful and thanked him. However, the next word that came out of his mouth left him standing there dumfounded. Help? "Uhh ... sure. ... Yeah." He could ... do that ... yeah.

Taking the necklace from her hands, he waited until she moved her hair out of the way before slowly and carefully brought the necklace to her neck and clasped it on. He then stepped back about a food, unknowingly positioning himself closer to the pool, and gave Hady a look over. "You look beautiful," he said, words pouring out of his mouth before his brain could even register the thought. Cue the awkward silence.

Frankie's face would have turned redder than a lobster had there not been a sudden commotion concerning the swimming pool. He heard a familiar voice shout, and moments later he was drenched from head to toe. After turning his head so his wet back wasn't facing the pool, the blond saw that Maggie had wandered over to the edge, which meant that Zeke must've been the cause of the splash. Well then.

Looking back at Hady, he gave her a look before taking off his wet shirt. "Care to hop in?" he asked her as his shirt dropped to the floor. But Frankie didn't wait for her response (mostly to prevent her from seeing that slight blush in his cheeks) and made a beeline for the pool.

"HEY, ZEKIE!" he shouted before jumping right in and tackling the boy. It was time for payback. And he hoped that Maggie got splashed in the process.

This had NOT gone to plan!

Maggie jumped back but couldn't quite avoid getting splashed by BOTH Zeke and Frankie. UGH. They had totally stolen her thunder. AND above all, she was wet now. Didn't they get that her suggestion had NOT been about going into the pool but rather about people looking at her wearing her bikini?????

Frowning at the two boys Maggie huffed and turned right around, walking away from the pool. UGH. Now she needed a new plan. She ran a hand through her hair and was about to head back inside when she spotted..."Dima!" Yes, good distraction. Putting on a grin she quickly made her way over to the Ravenclaw and gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Hi." See? She really didn't need the pool people.

Hady had been closely looking at the necklace given to her by Frankie. The look on the boys face when she asked him to help her with it was rather funny but she didn't laugh. She simply moved her hair aside holding it out of the way so he could fix the clasp of the chain around her neck. "Thanks," she whispered softly once the necklace was safely around her neck. Letting her hair drop down around her shoulders she once more turned around to face him.

Beautiful? Did he- he just said that, didn't he? Hady opened her mouth to reply but nothing came out a first her cheeks growing hotter by the second. Uhhh. Lowering her hazel eyes to stare at the ground she took a slow breath then let it out. "Thank you," she whispered almost shyly now as she turned her eyes back to him hoping the blush was gone from her cheeks. Only she hadn't needed to worry about that as the sudden splash from Zeke jumping into the pool had literally soaked Frankie making her laugh quietly. She would have to thank him later for saving them from this awkward moment.

Before anything else could be said Frankie had pulled off his soaked shirt and asked if she wanted to swim. And once more she didn't get to answer for he had already dove into the water. Shaking her head slightly while laughing under her breath Hady slipped off her sandals and then taking off her dress and setting it with her sandals showing her bikini that she had on underneath. Rather then dive right in like the boys had she choose to walk around the edge of the pool and sit down on the other side near the small little water fall that was there. If they wanted her they could come get her. Dipping her feet down into the water she glanced around at everyone wondering when they all would end up in the pool.

Resurfacing for air, Zeke had only enough time to push his fringe out of his face before he heard Frankie's call.

He'd copped a fair bit of water to the face - his nose filling with it to the point where he could taste the pool on the back of his throat... or was the water in his mouth? It was hard to tell at this point. Zeke pushed back against Frankie's tackle, throwing a couple of jocular punches to his side before attempting to mount his housemate in an effort to submerge him in the water.

It was as he was doing this that he scanned the pool for a sign of Maggie.... only to find she'd walked away, and was with Dima?

"Hey Maggie! Not comin' in?!" he called out after her wiggling his eyebrows.

Seriously though... what was with that? He was in here, topless and wet and she was... out there? It made no sense.

The Birthday girl put on their club's button! Eureka beamed at that, and couldn't help but give the girl a small chuckle. "Yes, it's a club that Dante and I are working on." It never caught on quite well yet, but mainly it was lack of advertising. Also, Dante's drawings. Hehe. "We take care of creatures and make sure nobody mistreats them, mainly. So, you're like the Creature Auror." Yes? It sounded lamer than it was.

But anyway, "Hope you like the jewelry, too! I got it from Egypt. They have fantastic snake designs there, the ancient ones used serpents for jewelry a lot." Her grandfather used to... uh... used to tell her interesting stories about it...

... okay, good job bumming herself out with that grandfather topic. Ugh.

"So, you're having fun?" She turned to Dante again, and pointed at the pool over her shoulder. "Want to take a dip?" She started walking backwards, daring.

Did a temper tantrum throwing three year old give him a good excuse for being late? Kyroh wasn't exactly sure, but for some reason his head told him no. The sixteen year old adored his sister really, but less so when she threw food at his clothes and smushed it in his hair because she didn't want him to leave. Sporting non-food stained clothes, and a gift bag in hand, Kyroh ventured around, a little hesitantly.

He didn't know Hady all that well, so he had been surprised with the invitation, but what BETTER way to make friends then by going to their birthday, right?

Stopping in place, he tried to spot someone that he knew, or better yet the birthday girl herself.

Hady had made sure the button was fixed properly onto her dress. One couldn't have it being all lopsided or anything. Lifting her gaze from the button she looked at Eureka as the girl explained to her about the Creatures Club. She liked the idea a lot and seeing as what she wanted to do with her life after school this club earned her full attention. "I like that. I'm all for helping creatures out." Except maybe for the arcomantula but she was working on that! Slowly but it was a work in progress yet.

Egypt? Nice. Hady nodded running a finger over the snake earring lightly. "I adore snakes. Have one actually, he's inside though. If it weren't for all the people here whom might not like him very much I'd have him outside." Aime enjoyed being outside or well just anywhere the brunette was at the moment.

From her new current position sitting at the edge of the pool she spotted Kyroh. He wasn't someone she knew all to well but hey, he came. That's what counted right now. She wasn't sure he would notice but she lifted her hand and waved in his direction. "Hey Kyroh!"

Sweet. Pool time. Kaycee wasn't going to complain. Growing up practically on the beach, she was a firm believer that you could never have too much water time.

She shimmied out of her shorts and tossed them and her shirt next to Maggie and Zeke's clothes. Bam. Now she was bikini pool party ready.

And now Maggie was with Dima. She couldn't go in the pool could she? Wasn't there a friendship rule saying that she shouldn't be in a bikini around the best friend's boyfriend without the best friend present?

Probably right?

Given the big fight last year, Kaycee would rather play it safe anyway. She sat on the edge of the pool and swung her legs in the water. She then surveyed the party again.

OH. Kyroh! She didn't even realize that he and Hady were friends.
