Lily Evans didn't know what she had gotten herself into when she agreed to stay with James Potter over the summer break. Her parents were making arrangements for Petunia Evans, and Vernon Dursley’s wedding. Lily wasn't a fan of Vernon Dursley or his family, and she wasn’t a fan of the arrangements that Petunia had helped to make. Petunia, had of course found her Diary, which she had written, “I hate James Potter” on the first page, and so to tick Lily off, she purposefully made her stay with him. How will her summer escapades and rampant mischievousness change her life, and how will they effect her feelings for a certain, James Potter.
NOTE: ONLY FIRST POST IS FROM THE SUMMER, IT STARTS IN THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.

Plot Information:

In the beginning Lily isn't fond of James Potter or his actions, but in the end she warms to him, and eventually the school year begins. This begins in the tail-end of the summer, but the first post is a basic motticum of emotions that Lily felt in the beginning of the summer before her new experience evolved into a whole new destiny. A Destiny that included a certain James Potter, as her new-found-love in her last and final seventh year at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Please when you join, do not ask for a character if you do not intend to stay in the RP for more that one or two posts, and if you so choose to join please inform people when you must leave. It will be most helpful.

Also, please use full sentences in this RP for example when your character laughs say laughed don't speak outloud saying LOL. This RP takes place before text speak was invented.

Dear Diary,
Petunia has made me stay over-summer with the Potters, how weird is that? She got a hold of my Diary that I forgot at home over the school year and in it, the first words were "I HATE JAMES POTTER". I feel really bad about it now, because I know I don't Hate James anymore, he was so oddeningly kind to me over the past month. We've only got three more weeks of summer break left, and I wonder what will happen between us considering my change-of-heart and his so clear obsession with being around me and wanting to well, date me.

Lily read the note she had written the week before and smiled, today some of her friends were showing up and they were attempting to help her through the end of the month and the end of the summer break. She really loved the Potter's home it was such a beautiful building with a magical inside-litterally, the inside was enchanted so its expanse was much larger than that it looked like it would be from the outside. It looked quaint from the outside, and on the inside it was quaint, but still oh-so-lavish.

Lily walked out of her room in the Potter's home putting her Diary on the end of her bed and locking it quickly. She walked down the stairs and out the back kitchen-door of the house. Where a small crystal-clear pond was visible there were no creatures like Giant Squids or Grindylows in the water here it was so beautifuly an Azure water. She walked to the waters edge and looked at all the small fish swimming around, she loved watching the water as much as she loved dazing off into fire-places.

She heard a slight hoot and looked up seeing a tawny owl with a letter about its leg. Taking the letter and opening it, she realized it was the Hogwarts leters.

Reading the letter she almost screamed. "I'VE GOT HEAD!" She yelled out in shock, she was head girl for her year. Head Girl! She wondered who Head Boy would be and assumed James would not be him, if it was James she would probably feint or blink at him repetatively saying "thats impossible!" Because it really was impossible.

She smiled and heard the door bell ring, walking to the door and opening it she smiled welcoming all the visitors into the home, it wasn't like James's parents would mind. They were constantly off on buisness, which made it possible for them to--well, have many moments alone in their large home. One morning, she had woken and found him gazing at her, and as she stood up, he walked over and planted a kiss on her lips. That was the day she realized she had feelings for him. The day she realized she actually was quite fond of James Potter.

Cat smiled at Austin's comment, "If only I were smart enough to not get involved and do something oh-so-stupid." She laughed, running a hand through her hair.

"Well I kind of tripped Evans in an attempt to slow her down so that Snape could talk to her. He was after all depressed looking and skulking. I just didn't intend to have her hit the stone steps." Well she did but that was another story.

Cat winced at his words, "It does doesn't it - and she's so annoying" was all she said. "So you know what I think i'm going to do - make her pay for hurting our lovely friends feelings...but if he does like her - its his loss."

Cat sighed she knew he wanted to tell her something he after all, had that furrowed eyebrow look he did - that was absolutely heart-throbbing(ly) adorable! Sge smiled, then looked up and brashly spoke. "You are hiding something. I can tell, but tell me in your own time you always say the sweetest things anyways."

Cat's jaw dropped, then recollecting herself she couldn't help but smile - beam infact. "R-Really? Austin why didn't you tell me you big oaf!?" she asked quickly turning to him on the bench and wrapping her arms around him. "I've liked you too," she admitted blushing. And she wasn't lying.

Austin blushed and hugged Cat back and said "I have been too embrassed to tell you and plus well i was getting picked on by Potter in fifth year so it just slipped my mind until now" Austin was glad that he had told Cat the truth

Before James had completely run away, he heard Gin say something. "You can join in if you want, it's going to be epic!" He quickly said.

Noticing Peter not even close to coming, he stomped right on over to him. "Wormy, do you want in on the prank or not?" He whined, pouting slightly.

"Oh right, I was just quickly saying sorry for not responding to Maylin." He smiled, his smile cold, icy, and not Pete at all. He looked strangely, depressed. "Oh yeah, coming right." He added as he stood up giving Maylin a pat on the shoulder. "Talk with you two later then?" He asked smiling, softer, kinder to them.

"Right Prongs, lets go." Peter spoke standing up he got up and walked to the entrance hall door. Where he spoke, "why is it that rats won't even consider me datable?"He asked not expecting an answer.

Sirius chuckled as both Gin and Lily comment on the event in question thoiugh of course using veiled words since not all of their companions knew of his ability...or any of the Marauders for that matter. "Umm yes we certainly should," he replied to the former for some reason feeling nervous about the possible future plans between them, brought back to the present by James and his excitement making him laugh once more as he finished his own dinner.

"But now I believe we've been summoned," Padfoot remarked taking one final sip before getting up to his feet. "Shall we?" he added offering a hand and being out of character to Gin. "Coming Moony?" he asked as well seeing as Peter had already gotten to his feet to join them at Prongs'words.

"We Shall!" Gin smiled, taking Sirius's hand - even though indeed that might have looked more chivalrous than a lets-go-prank someone move. Still, it was sweet, and she liked sweet.

"I'll catch you three later," Gin told Mary, Maylin, and Lily with a smile. Then she realized that she indeed, was still holding Sirius's hand, well it wasn't that she wanted to let go - but she would if it got awkward so for now she didn't.

Putting a hand on her hip, she asked, "So what do you think the oh-so-special prank will be?" She asked smiling.

James smirked. "We make Snivellus and Cat think they are going crazy. Trick them into thinking they are seing everyone as the opposite gender. Though of course everyone else will have no idea what's going on, so they'll think they are seeing things."

"Thoughts everyone?" James asked, smirking still, even more so at the sight of Gin holding Sirius' hand.

"I like it." Remus admitted. "Usually your pranks have faults in them Prongsie, but this time I can't find any! Unless you don't know of any potions or charms that can meet that effect? Then we have a problem. Otherwise, nice work!"

It was absolutely hilarious. "That is absolutely, epically hilarious Potter," Gin smiled, still the look on his face almost prompted her to let go - but something told her to keep holding onto his hand - and she had a good reason to.

One step later she'd stepped on an idiotic student's discarded banana peel and well would have gone flying if it weren't for the hand of the very strong man she was holding onto. "Thanks," she smiled, even though he hadn't had to do anything at all.

"Right-o, brilliant mate." Peter beamed, pranking made him feel alive it was the only thing that made life worth living. Taking a step up to Remus he spoke, "Mooney check out the h-a-n-d-s." He spelled out not realizing everyone here could spell.

"And Moony, I did not mess up the idea at all, I even have the nifty little potion here." James took out the small potion. The purple potion bubbled slightly in the vial. "Let's prank some Slytherins! Okay, plan. Gin, Sirius, you both go and distract Snivellus and Cat.

Remus, you and Peter will put the potions in each of their goblets. Make sure htat they drink it!" He took out his wand.

"I'll be watching from afar. There is a little spell that goes with the potion that I'll do. All understand?"

Remus smiled, whispering back. "Maybe be a little less conspicuous, I think they heard you."

Hearing the complete plan, Remus gave an approving nod. "Okay then. I understand what I'm doing."

Sirius met her gaze momentarily as Gin took his offered hand, his attention drawn to the group again as the plan was laid out and the animagus was no longer fuly aware they were holding hands. "Ooooo sounds like a plan Prongs," he answered. "They'll never know what hit them," he added with a smirk for it wasn't exactly a familiar effect of any spell or potion even for the potions expert Snivelous.

Hearing Peter's non-too-hidden reference to the holding of hands however, Sirius suddenly dropped his hold on her hand. The seventh year crossing his arms in a relaxed state in his attempt to not appear self-conscious over the whole thing since it wasn't his way. "Distraction...right," he said thinking through his options as they headed away from the other three.

"Opps" was all that Peter could say in response to what Remus said.

Gin, hadn't heard what Remus and Peter were talking about, but she did, however regretfully let go of Sirius's hand. She didn't want him getting ideas after all. "How do you suppose we distract them?" Gin asked, putting haphazard hand on her hip, she wondering what he had thought of - James after all because of the look he was giving her most likely knew she liked Sirius which could become embarrassing when he was the type to embarrass people into admitting they liked each other.

She turned to Sirius, "so any ideas on how to distract them? I think disgusting them to the point they can't look away might just might do the trick but I've got no idea how to."

James just had to matchmake them. Otherwise what would be have to do the entire year?
