Chris looked at Melinda's hand. "After the day you cut your hand?" Chris asked. "But why I mean it was just like any other cut, sure it was bad, but still." He said.

Melinda was about to let tears fall. "I had a crisis...I remembered some prophecy told by the woman who used to take care of me...that I was meant to do something else, rather than just being an ordinary witch..." She said, and suddenly, started to cry.

Chris saw Melinda crying. He knew he asked enough questions for now. He put his arm around her. "I am sorry, I didn't mean for you to start crying." Chris said to her.

Melinda stopped crying. "It's ok...I will be fine..." She said and gasped for air. "You see..., Excelsior..." She said, and sighed to his cousin.

Chris saw Melinda stop crying. She was right this was making her go crazy. Chris just sat there kinda looking around the room, and at everyone.

Rian walked downstairs, hearing a commotion. When she felt the tense atmosspere, she stopped half-way down the stairs adn listened to Melinda's explaination. She was glad that nobody saw her standing there.

Melinda hoped those explanations were enough for everyone, for Excelsior and Jason. She started to sense someone around, it was Rian, but she didn't say anything and held her breath for some time, she was going to cry again.

Chris put his arm around Melinda. He knew this was hard for her. And he felt really bad for her.

Melinda sighed and sighed. Chris held her and she felt like sleeping, but wanted to hear Jason's side first.

Jamie looked at Melinda. "That night you cut your hand, besides remembering the profit, you saw something in your mind?" Jamie asked. She was remembering some of that night. It was the night that she help Mel.

Excelsior listened carefully to everything Melinda said, not commenting until she was finished. "I think I understand," he said thoughtfully. "I am really sorry to hear about this terrible nightmare," he told his cousin. "I think that would make me go crazy, too. Thank you for sharing this with me, and we want to try and help you." He gave Melinda a hug. "Jason, you've heard what Melinda has to say, why don't you go ahead and speak now?" He turned to his other cousin.

" I am sorry that you are having nightmares Melinda but you do turn on me a lot lately" Jaso0n told Melinda as Excelscior listened. " I want to help my family but you get mad at me, in fact you get mad at everyone trying to help you including Chris" Jason told her. " You thought I was mad at you for not saying Good Morning to me when you already did and I acknowledged it" Jason continued. " I asked Chris what happened, first he told me it was nothing then he told him it was between him and his dad - something about being late" Jason told Melinda. "This is All I was trying to tell you Melinda but you tok it the wrong way noy me, you just got mad and yrs, I thought bad about you because I was very upset and then you hurt me when you said I was not part of the family" Jason told Melinda. "First Monica, then Anna and then you tell me I am not part of the family" Jason told Melinda. " Then you never wanted to solve this problem so I had no choice but to feel hurt again.
Jason finished his side of the story.
"Now let me help you Melinda, family has to stick together" Jason told her. "Excelscior has to lrave for Texas, Caoyln Weasley went to France and
Monica left for London. " Our family is getting smaler at HogWarts and outside of HoGwarts.
Jason kisses for being there for him.

"Both of you have really good points," Excelsior said. "Melinda, you need support right now because of the nightmares you're having, and Jason, I know that you mean well and want to help, and that you hate the fact that your family is dwindling down and you don't want to lose the rest of it. I think both of you need each other and can help each other, that you do care for one another, so all you really need to do is just be a little patient toward each other and maybe just be a little more open. That's all. How do you guys feel about that?"

" I am always open about everything excpet I did not like being ignored for me trying to help" Jason told Excelscior.

"I can understand your feelings on that," Excelsior agreed. "I can also understand how Melinda feels about her nightmares. I really hope both of you can get along and understand how one another feels about things." He smiled back and forth between his two cousins.

Jason waits for Melinda's answer.

Jason's part of the story was right. Totally right. But at the moment Excelsior talked about her, being able to let poople help her. She could not do that, she was meant to do this by herself. "You won't loose me...you know I will always be around...but...please understand that it is hard for me to share something that I barely know of...like the night my mother was killed...and my nightmares.." She said and tried to smile.

"Now...if you think this is fixed, please...may I go...to sleep...this got a lot stressfull...and it is making me go sleepy..." She said and sighed. "Sorry, about everything..." She said.

"I think both of you did great. Thank you for your honesty and your sharing, Jason and Melinda, both of you," Excelsior said. "Let me know if there are any more problems, but I think you guys will be fine. I'm always here to help."

"Thank you, Excelsior..." Melinda said, almost leaving. "Thank you very much..." She said.

"Now...I should go to sleep...I am so tired..." She said, rubbing her eyes and smiling.

" I am not very happy but I wil not argue with you anymore Melinda" Jason told her. Jason knew that Melinda would run away from her problems again. Jason knows that Melinda and him will drift apart. " good night Melinda"Jason tells her.

Melinda was not running away. "I already said I'm sorry...and I hope to make up to you someday...really...but do not say again that I run away from my troubles...I have done that all my life and look what it has brought...us fighting..." She said, very strict about her words.

" Ok. sorry Melinda" Jason told her.

"Good day, everyone...I am just going to take a nap...so...see you later...." Melinda said. She looked at Excelsior and smiled. "Thank you for listening...for everything..." She repeated and headed herself to her room, where she quickly layed on her bed and on the first breath, she went to sleep.

"Okay, good night, Melinda, and you're welcome," Excelsior said, but he noticed that she was already gone. He hoped she would have good dreams tonight.

Jason could only worry about Melinda. Jason goes to his room and does excercises. The drifting apart of Melinda and Jason was hurting him so much.
