Construction may have just finished days ago, but you'd never know it by the way the newly converted courtroom-to-auditorium looked - so finished, so polished and so ready for its sole purpose - the opening ceremonies of the International Wizarding Conference. With introductions of each visiting country's Minister to be made, performances and foods to celebrate the world's leaders gathered here, and the British Ministry's very own Minister to open up the summit, a new venue needed to be constructed to allow for such events.

From the doors through which all enter, the seats cascade downward, all facing the most important area of any auditorium - the stage. A stage upon which will sit ten of the most formidable and respected leaders of the Magical World. A stage which will feature a number of speeches and performances unlike any other.

At the center of the center aisle is a round clearing, which will house the wand torch statue that represents the magic and power of a conference of this kind.

Set-up of decorations is just finishing up and shortly the opening ceremonies will commence!

As the scroll reached Reagan's hands, the ribbon holding it together fell away to reveal the following message:

To the British Minister of Magic: G'day sir. It is with deep regret that I have to inform you that I will be tardy for the International Conference and may even miss part of the opening ceremonies. Just as I was preparing to shoot through via portkey, a stickybeak bloke in our Magical Creatures department was attacked by a bunyip while on a mission, which chased him into a pond where a Freshie was waiting for him with razorsharp teeth! Needless to say, the bloke is pretty mangled up and we needed to transport him to our mediwizard clinic. As the bloke happens to be an upstanding employee who was injured during his line of work, it is imperative that I lob in to the clinic and remain nearby until we receive word that his wounds will successfully heal and to compensate the mediwizards for their care. After all, would hate for the bloke's legal counsel to have to get involved... But enough of that, I shall arrive just as soon as I'm no longer flat out like a lizard drinking, mate. Tonya walked into the auditorium and headed over to Reagan and Angelina, "Reagan, Angelina."She said the the women and nodded. She looked around the auditorium and thought for a moment. "I have a few ideas about the decoratons." she said to them.

Reagan accepted the scroll from Cambell and read the message that unrolled before her. Any message meant for the Minister's eyes was usually read by her own, so she felt no guilt in reading through the scroll. Besides, he'd just make her deal with it anyway. As she perused through, she thought, 'Total bummer about that Aussie guy who got mauled. She better hope he doesn't sue, but by the sounds of her letter, she's paying out of pocket to prevent that from happening. Heh.'

She spoke to Cambell, "Thank you very much for bringing me this. The Minister of Magic from Australia will be arriving late for the conference, so as soon as the other eight Ministers have arrived, immediately begin the tours. Don't show them around Level Ten yet because we haven't finished decorating and don't show them around Level Nine because we don't really want them to know about our Department of Mysteries. Just jump on the lifts and travel to Level Eight and begin the tours. After you've finished your stops on each floor, send me a memo. Depending on if we need more time to deocrate before you can bring them down here, I may send you to give them a tour of Diagon Alley. But hopefully, it won't come to that. Good luck. And thanks for bringing me this." Reagan waved the scroll slightly.

Reagan nodded and replied, "A few, but not quite as many or any as good as I'd like. How about you? Any ideas?" Reagan began pulling the appropriate tablecloths from the closet, as well as ten large chairs, and a heavy stationary kit that would be needed to write the cards that would indicate where each Minister was sitting. Turning to Angelina, she asked, "Can you write in calligraphy? Or at least have really neat penmanship?"

After hearing the woman's introduction, Reagan smiled and replied, "Pleasure to meet your Ms. Jacobs. I'm quite glad you've come to help. We need some fresh ideas and we're certainly going to need bodies to set things up. So, what do you envision for the decoration of this room?" At this point, Reagan retrieved the large banner that they had made for the conference from the closet and placed the large rolled item resting against the wall. "Will you help me hang this above the stage?"

Reagan sighed with relief when she heard Tonya had ideas for the decor. "Please share them! We need to move quick and make this room look wonderful." She was glad that someone had some ideas, because she wasn't sure that hers would be enough for an event this big.

Cambell nodded firmly and looked around the room once more. "Good luck." She said giving Reagan a slight tap on the arm. She waved goodbye to her and left, back to the Greeting area.

Jacob nearly sprinted to Level Ten, an interdepartmental memo crumpled in one hand. It detailed the decorating that needed to be done for the foreign ministers. It's scary how much I've felt like helping out lately, Jacob thought idly as he traveled. Maybe I should've been a Hufflepuff.

He arrived at the room to see a brilliantly constructed setup, perfect in nearly every detail. There were a number of Ministry employees here already. Jacob wandered around, admiring all the creativity, finally making his way to where a lady seemed to be in charge, giving out instructions and requesting ideas.

Tonya smiled at Reagan glad to be asked for her ideas, "I was thinking that each ambassador should feel at home and that a section of the room could be put toward each ministry that way every minister could see how each lives and we could all learn about each culture." she said smiling hoping it would help.

Forrester entered the level 10 hall and headed towards the auditorium, he looked around and noticed Miss Reagan.
"I'm sorry to disturb you in such a time" Forrester said when he was close enough. "But I just wanted to ask something... Does the minister need his security service now?" Forrester asked.

Reagan lifted her wand out of her robes and levitated the other end of the banner. She raised the banner to one level above the stage and inspected if she liked the positioning. Deciding it was too high, Reagan lowered her side and reevaluated. Now the banner seemed too droopy, though the height was good. She requested of Ryan, "Can you pull your end a bit farther out so it makes it just a bit more taut? I think it will look cleaner and sharper that way."

While Reagan was inspecting the appearance of the banner above the stage, she sensed a new body at her side. Turning her head slightly and trying to multi-task, Reagan asked, "How can I help you?"

Reagan listened to Tonya's ideas and at first thought she was merely repeating what Reagan had requested before - that the decor honor each country somehow. But upon further inspection, Reagan realized the unique contribution that Tonya had made - focusing on the culture and the way the Ministers live. It was brilliant!

Reagan's face spread into grin and she exclaimed, "Tonya, I just knew you would be an asset to our department when I read your application! Your idea is absolutely brilliant! We could devote each section of the auditorium to the customs of each country, displaying traditional clothing and items of daily life from the countries, because that is, after all, why we are here, gathered together - to effect the change that will affect the daily lives of the people within the magical community worldwide! Brilliant!"

Reagan surveyed the walls of the room and began dividing the sections up for different countries. She explained, "Two food tables containing an assortment of traditional items from each of the different countries will be located in the back of the auditorium for the press and employees of the Ministry and another will be located just behind the larger table that I've already placed on the stage for the Ministers to enjoy. We could place the tables in between the displays on the back wall..." Reagan trailed off from basically talking to herself while she thought out loud and then explained more clearly the task at hand.

"Let's work with the two side walls and the back wall to display items. Three countries on each wall will cover all nine visiting countries. Then, for the shorter half walls on either side of the stage, we'll display items from our own culture. Ok, now we need to determine which items we want to display. Let's go in alphabetical order and decide. Australia, Bulgaria, and China. What do you think?"

Reagan pondered the man's question and replied, "I believe he is still in his fitting right now for his robes. So I would say, not quite yet. Though, you could surely go up to my office and wait outside his office door until the seamstress exits. Then you could inform the Minister of your presence and purpose, but be sure to knock first, and he'll let you know if he feels your presence is needed at that time or later."

"Of course miss. Reagan, have a nice day and excellent job" Forrester replied as he turned around and walked towards the first floor

Tonya listened intently and looked around the room, "Thats a great idea." she said with enthusiasm, "Do you think we could get a few employees to dress in the traditional clothes from each country? And maybe have them stand in that section and tell a little about the culture?" she asked her.

"Rico Serio sent me from Level Five to help you decorate," Jacob said simply, and to the point. "The banner looks good, by the way." And it really did; clearly some time had been spent on it.

"My name's Jacob Webster," added Jacob. Seeing that the woman's hands were full, he decided against his instinct to hold out a hand to shake.
