Hi! My name is Casey, and I am delighted to be writing 25 drabbles for Angelina Johnson, Katie Bell, and Alicia Spinnet!

I do not own the Harry Potter universe or any references to it, though I do worship Queen Jo.

I'll Be There for You

Angelina Johnson. Katie Bell. Alicia Spinnet.

The best chasers in Gryffindor.

But they weren't bigheaded. They weren't conceited. Not one of them was the star, instead they worked as a team.

"Welcome to the Gryffindor Quidditch team," said Oliver Wood. The girls grinned at one another. "I believe you all to work well both individually and as a team." He looked around once more. "Once we get a seeker, I should think we will finally win the Quidditch Cup. Once we get a seeker, we will be unbeatable. Only the best."

Upside Down

It was rainy. A rainy Quidditch practice. Angelina Johnson was trying to keep order, which wasn't very successful as she nearly crashed.

Katie Bell was desperately trying to see where the Quaffle was, she thought maybe Angelina had it? Suddenly, a Bludger bolted towards her out of nowhere. She was forced to do a Sloth Grip Roll to avoid being hit by it, seen by no one except Alicia Spinnet.

"Good job, Katie!" Alicia called. Katie grinned. Suddenly the practice wasn't as rainy, and it was possible to see the Quaffle with Angelina. Being upside down was a different perspective.

Hedwig's Theme

October 31, 1981. Mrs. Bell was rocking her daughter, Katie, to sleep. When she found out, she hurriedly woke her husband.

"What-what happened?"

She told him, and they picked up the stirring Katie, and swung her around.

Angelina Johnson waddled her way over to her mother.

"Momma."

"Yes, that's right, I'm momma," her mother said, wiping tears away from her face. She held her close, her baby in a new world.

The Spinnet family sat in a group, hugging and laughing and celebrating, a world that looked bright.

Who knew that three different families could be so united in hope?

Roar

The Slytherins always played dirty, didn't they? But Gryffindor usually came out on top. On this particular day, the Slytherins were doing their best to get the Chasers out of commission, but they weren't having any of it.

Angelina Johnson swung around, the Bludger missing her barely. She shook her hair out of her face and threw the Quaffle to Alicia Spinnet. Alicia caught the ball and zoomed past the opposite Chaser, who was reaching for the Quaffle. One last pass to Katie Bell, who scored neatly into the left hoop, and the three Chasers flew up, united in victory.

Somebody that I used to Know

It was ten years after the so-called "Battle of Hogwarts." Angelina Johnson, Alicia Spinnet, and Katie Bell were sitting at the table in the Leaky Cauldron, reminiscing about earlier times.

"Do you remember Colin Creevey?" Angelina said, tears in her eyes from their previous conversation about Fred.

"Yes," Katie says solemnly. Alicia furrows her eyebrows.

"That small boy who followed Harry around?" Alicia asks. Angelina nods. The three pause as the waiter brings them more hot chocolate. Katie wipes a tear off her face.

"I just think that it's strange, thinking back to these people that we-we used to know."

Brave

"STUPEFY!" Katie Bell shrieked, pointing her wand at a Death Eater's retreating figure. The Death Eater blocked it and turned around, almost instantly reciprocating. Katie dove to the side and ran through a hidden passageway to where Alicia Spinnet was fighting.

"Ouch!" Alicia said, bumping into Katie. Fenrir Greyback leered down at the two, baring his teeth. Alicia and Katie scrambled for their wands, certain that they were too slow, when-

"Oh no you DON'T!"

Angelina Johnson sprinted down the corridor and stunned Greyback. She helped Alicia and Katie up and hugged them. She looked down at Greyback, eyes blazing.

Gone Gone Gone

Voldemort was horrible. Horrible. He was responsible for all these deaths. For Tonks, and Professor Lupin, and Fred-

Angelina Johnson broke into renewed sobs, crying into Alicia Spinnet's shaking shoulders. Fred, he couldn't be dead, NO. Alicia tried to comfort Angelina, but she had little effect due to the fact that she was crying, too. A third girl, Katie Bell, dropped down next to them. She didn't acknowledge the two girls next to her, instead she stared ahead at the Weasley's surrounding their dead son with a pale face.

"Everyone will miss him. But more importantly, everyone will remember him."

If I Die Young

Angelina Johnson rolled over on the rug.

"I am in LOVE with this rug!" she said. Katie Bell looked up from her cup of cocoa that she was enjoying immensely and raised an eyebrow at Alicia Spinnet. Angelina looked between the two. "What?"

"Nothing," answered Alicia, giggling. She turned to Katie and said, "Let her enjoy her rug before she dies, eh?"

"What are you guys talking about?"

"Nothing," answered Katie this time. "We're just plotting for your demise." Angelina continued looking bewildered. Katie and Alicia took buckets of snow from behind a chair and dumped it on her.

"Whoops."

When I Grow Up

It was a war made up of mostly kids. Yes, some of them were overage, but does that mean that they are at all fully grownup?

Angelina Johnson was 19 years old, and already taking on as much fighting as her older counterparts. Alicia Spinnet and Katie Bell were by her side. When they were kids, they dreamt together of being heroines. But they did not know what it took to be a hero in their own story.

The tale of the three girls has a bittersweet ending. They grew up, yes, but much too early for their own years.

Little Talks

"And Angelina Johnson catches the Quaffle! Man, what a player she is - and pretty too!"

"JORDAN!"

"Sorry Professor! Johnson flies down the pitch - DUCK ANGELINA -and dodges a bludger FANTASTICALLY without ANY outside help-"

"Jordaaan!"

"SORRY Professor! Johnson passes backwards to Katie Bell, who makes a wonderful catch and swerves to avoid a Beater! She zooms past the seeker - GO HARRY - sorry Professor, and... drops the Quaffle. That's too bad - but it was a TRICK! Alicia Spinnet catches the Quaffle and goes towards the hoop - SHE SCORES!!! GO GRYFFINDOR!!"

"Jordan...!"

"Just small talk, Professor."

Royals

Walking into the Yule Ball, her hand on Fred Weasley's arm, Angelina Johnson did not feel like a Princess, or Queen, or anything even remotely royal. But she did feel like herself, which meant something.

Alicia Spinnet spun around in her black skirt, arms outstretched. A nearby couple snorted, but Alicia didn't care. She would never be anyone other than herself, and she was happy with that.

Katie Bell smiled and waved at a passing friend, stopping to pick up a drink. Sipping her juice, her shoes clicking on the floor, she smiled. She was happy the way she was.

Collide

Angelina Johnson walked up to the younger girl, holding her broomstick in one hand. "Hello!" she said. The younger girl blinked. "I'm Angelina."

"I'm Katie," replied the first year, clutching the school's rickety broomstick with a death grip. "Are you trying out for Chaser?" Though only eleven, Katie was confident and outgoing. Angelina nodded, then waved at a friend and left. Tryouts for Chasers finally was called. Shifting from foot to foot, Katie noticed Angelina getting on her broom, and so Katie hopped on hers as well. Flying in the air, Katie zoomed and -

WHAM.

Collided with Alicia Spinnet.

Mambo Number 5

It was Katie Bell's seventeenth birthday. She had found a way to get to Hogsmeade and the Three Broomsticks, and had found her two best friends there, Angelina Johnson and Alicia Spinnet. They were grinning at her from a table laden with wrapped boxes. She tried to conceal her excitement, but everyone who knew her had figured out her weakness for wrapped things.

"Happy Birthday!" The two girls squealed as she reached the table, dropping her coat on the chair.

All she needed was a little bit of Angelina in her life, a little bit of Alicia by her side.

Team

They had WON. Won the Quidditch cup. Which, though it had been a bit of a shock, wasn't because the other team had messed up. No, it was because Gryffindor was the most well-knit and hardworking team around. For example:

Oliver Wood, keeper and captain. Known for his pep talks.

Harry Potter, seeker. Spectacular catches.

Fred and George Weasley (they always went together), beaters. "Pair of human bludgers."

And then the quidditch girls.

Angelina Johnson.

Alicia Spinnet.

Katie Bell.

Chasers.

They work together perfectly. A pass to one, throw to the other. Weaving in and out of each other. Perfect.

True Love

Fast forward past the Yule Ball. Past the war. Past the aftermath. It was the afternoon of the marriage between George Weasley and Angelina Johnson, and both were a bit emotional.

Angelina was the more emotional of the two. The hands of her bridesmaids, Alicia Spinnet and Katie Bell, smoothed down her white dress and comforted her.

"No, Angie, George doesn't think he's your second best."

"No, darling, he knows that Fred would have approve."

A few last tears are shed, a brush untangling Angelina's long hair. A necklace placed around her neck, a bouquet of flowers in her hand.

Happy

They were close. Close enough to tell each other everything, every little thing that bothered them or excited them or was just overall a big eh. Angelina Johnson could confide in Alicia Spinnet, who could then cry to Katie Bell.

Are people who laugh a lot always happy? They certainly weren't laughing 24/7. In fact, about once a week, one of them would go through stress or an event that made them cry for hours.

Happy is overrated, they decided. But how does happiness feel right without sadness?
