“ You scope it up I’m NOT touching that.”
Cassie said eyeing the dragon dung with disgust. Marilyn frowned at her best friend and poked at it with a stick.
“ Well why do I have to touch it? It’s a collective effort Cass.”
They both sighed and stared at the pile dung that they were supposed to be adding to the root of the young mandrake plants.
“ Alright, I’ll do this set and you can do those, the sooner we get this over with the sooner we’ll get to the shower.”
They worked in silence until Marilyn screamed.
” It touched me!”

Marilyn looked down at her wand, sighing at the smudges and fingerprints. She desperately needed to polish it, that was for sure.
Cassie's was in much better shape...
"How do you find the time to do upkeep on your wand?" Her friend was shaking her head, doing some homework assignment and not giving an answer.
Taking the sleeve of her robe, Marilyn began rubbing at the wood…This just made the prints stand out more.
“Cassie, do you think you could scourgify my wand?”
At that moment, Josh walked into the study area, wide-eyed.
“I don’t think I want to know.”

Nip flew from branch to branch above the tree that Cass and Marilyn were both sitting underneath. He of course was stilling wearing the cute beanie that Cass had bought for him in Diagon Alley. Marilyn looked up at him with a puzzled expression.
“ How does he not lose that thing?” Marilyn asked while watching the bird.
Cassie grinned mischievously and held up her wand that was lying in her lap.
“ I made sure he wouldn’t.” She answered casually.
Marilyn’s puzzled face turned to intrigue “How?”
“ Sticking charm.” She answered grinning widely. Both girls looked at each other and laughed.

“She is going to be SO mad…” Marilyn was unsure about provoking her fellow Slytherin…Cassie, however, had no qualms.
“No, she isn’t…Well, she won’t be mad at us…” Her friend had that gleam in her eyes. The blonde Slytherin was fairly sure she had lost her mind. They were slowly approaching the Suits of Armor on the second floor.
“Yes, SHE will…Dee is…protective of her chocolate.” The Hufflepuff wasn’t listening, however.
An Epoximise later and the opening of the statue was permanently sealed shut.
…
NOBODY was safe as an inconsolable Destiny Shepard rampaged throughout the castle.
“WHO DID IT?!”

Cassie nodded and squeezed the hilt of her wand. She had made up her mind on the matter and nothing Marilyn said would change her mind. “Yes I need to. That skeg deserves it. No one wears polka dots and stripes and gets away with it.”
She made a face as she remembered the horrid sight of the girl in miss matched patterns.

Marilyn was standing in a deserted classroom down in the dungeons working feverishly over her bronze cauldron. At Hogwarts, they encouraged using pewter…but this was a special case and called for the extra magical properties that using said bronze cauldron could bring.
…Of course, Cassie was there, hands on her hips. The girl obviously didn’t agree with what Marilyn was doing. “This is not smart, Mar…”
Looking up, she sighed. “It probably isn’t…but I aim to teach her a lesson she won’t soon forget.” Taking a phial, Marilyn dipped some of the potion out, writing neatly on the label…

Cassie walked behind the angry Marilyn who was storming down to the dungeon. Jeez the Slytherin was awfully cranky today. Something told her Marilyn was not going to get over this very quickly. She sighed and grabbed hold of her friend's arm. “Look, I didn’t mean it. For the love of Flamel, Mar, calm down.” Cassie stepped back as the blonde turned to face her, face red from anger.
“ It’s not funny Cassie, you know I’m sensitive about this stuff.” Sparks flew from her wand.
“ You do not have split ends.”

Cassie stepped aside so her friend could look through the telescope too. They had somehow found their way into the left tower but now they certainly didn’t regret being here.
“ Ohh you’re right, that one really is nice…Sweet Merlin! That one isn’t bad either.” Marilyn attempted to press her eye even closer to the telescope.Cassie tugged the telescope away.
“ What? What? Let me see now.” She pressed her eye against it and her mouth fell open. Marilyn was right, that one was very nice.

She and Marilyn had a handful of them dressed and ready for the house elf fashion show that they would be putting on for the seventh years. The ones who didn’t want to get dressed up had found some other way to give their services.

Cassie squeezed her eyes shut letting out a frightened squeal. She was convinced he was trying to give her a heart attack. She clung closer if that was possible to James and he dipped and circled around the quidditch pitch. Why did she suggest this again? Maybe this was just a bit too random for even her.
“ James be careful, we’re going to crash!”
Once again she closed her eyes and clung for life. James looked back with a grin and pulled out of the dive.
“ Don’t worry Cassie, you’re safe with me.”
She loosened her hold on him.

The Astronomy tower had gotten pretty hot and everyone just wanted class to end, but no one more than Cassie and Marilyn.
Cassie poked at the tea leaves and tilted her head right then left. This was ridiculous.
“ Something about what we’re wearing to the hall ceremony next week..or was it what you all will be doing next week?” She shrugged and yawned. “I just don’t get why we decided to take this silly class.” Mar huffed.

Snowball
Snow, snow…
Why was there so much SNOW?
They were all heavily immersed in this competition and so far...no one had produced anything spectacular...but the Slytherin had an idea...
A chocolate- y, Slytherin- y idea...
With a wand wave here and a snowball there...and a spin and flick...VIOLA! The Destiny Snowman was created...but NOT complete.
Why, one might ask…?
Well, no Destiny snowman would be complete without her matching chocolate stash!
Producing a few chocolate frogs, fudge flies, and chocoballs from her bag (which were NORMAL things to have in ones bag), she stuffed them in the snowman's mouth and hands.
PERFECT! Dedicated to Destiny and her abundant weirdness.

94.Allergic.
Cassie sneezed and looked up with watery eyes from her Defense Against the Dark Arts text book. She couldn’t figure out what was causing her to sneeze so much. She wasn’t aware of any allergies, so this was weird and the library was most certainly not dusty.
She looked at Marilyn who was busy sniffing a yellow flower and smiling dreamily. That had to be the cause of it. She hated Daisies.
“ Where did you get that Marilyn?”
“ Get what Cass?”
“ The flower in your hand..”
“ Carter gave it to me this morning.”
“ Well get rid of it, I’m allergic.”

Hmm, how to approach this…
Eying the mandrake plant in front of her, Marilyn slipped on her dragonhide gloves. Making sure her earmuffs were secure, she tugged the screaming plant up. Piercing noise filled the room and the blonde smirked.
Merlin, she hated these ugly things.
Heading a noise behind her, she turned. There stood Cassie, a firm glare in place. Her hands were clasped tightly around her head and if the murderous glare was anything to go by, she was NOT pleased. “How many times have I told you not to repot those things in the house?”
