"Nooooow," Cormac's gaze flickered back and forth between the mistletoe above their heads and the girl standing before him. The way his gray eyes narrowed eagerly while the corners of his lips curled up into a rather smug smirk made his intentions quite clear...
"I-" Cormac cut her short, though, by pulling her even closer towards him. "I know." He was completely oblivious to the panic plastered across the girl's face. Well, he mistook it for desire obviously. Duh, what else could it be. She was about to be kissed by Cormac McLaggen after all!
"Hermione?!" Or, you know, NOT.

"Oi, give that to me, boy!" Cormac snapped as he snatched the Beater's bat out of the boy's hands. "Let me show you how this is done PROPERLY!" Guh! Why had Potter let HIM on the team?! This Jimmy was totally useless. DING!
"Aaand another goal for Hufflepuff!" Cormac completely ignored both the Quaffle swooshing past him and through one of his goal hoops, and the Quidditch commentator. "See? This is how it works!" And with that he smacked the Bludger hard with his bat...
...at the other end of the Pitch Harry Potter let out a yelp of pain.

"Say ' Mummy'"
"Bllllll" A small drop of spit slowly made its way down the baby's chin.
"Come on, honey, say ' Mummy'!" But there was no reaction from the blonde boy apart from simply gazing up at her with big gray eyes.
With a sigh of defeat, she turned around to leave the room again, beckoning for their house-elf to follow.
They would try again later.
"Mmmmm..."
She stopped half-way through the door and turned on her heels with a surprised smile. "Yeeees?"
"Mmmm..."
"Yes, say ' Mummy'!"
"Mmmmmeee. Me. ME!" GIGGLE!
And that would become Cormac McLaggen's first word.

"Dare, of course!" He was a Gryffindor after all. Pfft! Courage FTW!
A few snickers escaped the Gryffindors' mouths as they put their heads together to think of something good for Cormac McLaggen. It had to be something...
"Well, you get to choose, it's either...you eat a pound of Doxy eggs orrrr-" Cormac's gray eyes had grown wide at Ritchie Coote's words, and he was already starting to reply, "I'll take the sec-"
"Orrrrrr-" Vicky Frobisher cut him short with a giggle. "-you have to kiss Eloise Midgen!" SNICKER!
"-first option." Cormac finished.

As you enter the Hospital Wing you immediately notice a handsome young man lying in one of the Hospital Wing beds with a huge frown plastered across his face. If you glanced out of the window and down towards the Quidditch Pitch you would probably guess what the reason for his bad mood was. Down there several red and gold dots were zooming around the pitch. Quidditch Tryouts. TWEEEEET!
Upon hearing this sound the boy heaved a sigh. The one question coming up again and again. Should he have kissed the Acne-girl after all? Same question, same answer. NO!

"BACK OFF!" Cormac was glaring at all the people who looked as if they were about to start a fight. With HIM?! It wasn't HIS fault they had lost the stupid Quidditch match. It was THEIR fault. It wasn't HIS fault they were all totally incapable of doing ANYTHING properly.
And now, why were they blaming HIM of all people. HIM, who was the only REAL Quidditch player on this team. And who had made POTTER Captain?! He was just as bad as a Quidditch Captain as the rest of the team was at playing Quidditch.
HE should be Captain!!!

Christmas at the McLaggen household usually meant a huge christmas tree, gleeful expressions on everybody's faces...and loads of amazing presents for Cormac.
This christmas was to be different, though. As the 16 year old was standing in the living room - surrounded by all the other presents and colorful wrapping paper - he carefully pulled the paper off of yet another present. It had had no name-tag on it but his fangirls normally tried to stay anonymous. For a while. Cough!
Now there he was - expectantly running his fingers over the box that had been revealed - before... EEEEK!!!!

"Yes, Mr. McLaggen?" Professor McGonagall inquired - upon seeing Cormac McLaggan's hand raised - watching him over the brim of her square spectacles.
"Are there any male Veelas, Professor?"
The look McGonagall gave the boy in return to his question could only be described as incredulous, with a slight hint of annoyance. "I hardly believe this has anything to do with our current subject matter." And with that the professor gave him one last stern look before turning back to the blackboard.
In the back of the classroom Cormac smirked slightly.
He had known it!
He definitely was one!
