A Secret You Musn't Share
As a young girl I saw a boy more often than you would think. That boy was James Potter. The reason you might think not is because my father and his father hated each other at school. Yes, they were enemies Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy always at each other. Why do I see him so much, you may ask. My grandmother, daddy's mom, did an unforgetable favor for Harry. She saved his life. The point is Harry decided he should repay for his cruel acts against daddy. Technically he did save daddy's life twice in that battle. But, he still feels the need to repay him.

That's where the secret comes in. I began to love James, you musn't share even though daddy and Harry are getting along better, you musn't share it.

Let me think when I first met James. We were five then. It was little Scorpius' second birthday. My mom, Astoria Greengrass Malfoy, who had recently befriended Ginny, Jame's mom, invited them over. I remember that day perfectly.



Please give me advice I have more to the chapter but have homework to do.

Awwww! That's so adorable, James is such a silly boy.. And Potter/Malfoy (next Gen of course) are the perfect match!

Nice job with it so far! (First to post, yippee!) I can hardly wait to see where this is going.

i really like it- its a genius idea! the one thing is it ended sorta suddenly. I thoguht it would have more of an ending. Still, I Loved it!!!!

It was a perfect October day. Just nice and perfect, October 22nd to be exact. I was wearing a pretty silver sundress Grandma Malfoy gave me.
"Audra," Mom called me. I walked over to where she was. He looked a bit like his mom and a bit like his dad. His hair was black but in the glint of the sun you could see some of his mom's red. His eyes were a mystery, they were like both parents somehow. If you look at a picture of his younger brother Albus in first year and Harry in first year, it is near impossible to tell the difference except for the scar. Not with James and Harry.
"Audra this is James, Harry and Ginny's son," my mom says. "James this is Audra."
I looked at James, with a smile I said, "Come on," and grabbed him by the hand. I pulled him to the Malfoy Manor and found other kids. "Let's play hide and seek," I said. Everybody nooded. I then started a great friendship that would last for what seems like life.
It was as if their family was part of our family. I remember when Lily was born, it was December 17th after Scorpius' birthday. It was when they were over on the 16th. They had just left, it was about 15 minutes later. Harry's patronus came. It was weird for me being five I didn't know what it was.
It spoke in Harry's voice, "at St. Mungos baby on its way."
We all bundled up and then daddy side-along apparated with me. Mom was with Scorpius. We got there at about eight. I found James and started talking. We were three when Scorpius and Albus were born and didn't remember much. I looked up at them toddling around. Now James would have another sibling and I heard it was a girl. I must admit I was a little jealous, I wanted a baby sister.
I feel asleep around 9:30. Next thing I know James was shaking me awake.
"The baby was born," he exclaimed. "She's Lily Luna Potter."
I look up and say, "Congrats James, your a big brother again. What time is it?"
"3:15," he says. "She was born at 3:09." His voice slows, "Your sad, you want a baby sister. Cheer up you'll see her often, we can share her."
I smile then my mom pulls us along to where Lily and Ginny are. I was the first non-family to hold her.
The Potter's are like family. Well all except for James, because I love him.

Okidoki, I've completely changed the plot detail from what I had before so if it seems to not move along well feel free to give suggestions. This is a new girl, Julia Bright's point of view.
Chapter 2: Julia
Julia woke up quickly that morning to the sound of her sister Penelope snoring. She was in the mood to go over and hit her sister. Julia decided to go downstairs instead.
"Hello Misstress Julia," Tiety, their house elf said as she came down. "Would you like pancakes for breakfast?"
"That would be perfect Tiety," Julia said to Tiety. "Be sure you are eating yourself. Eat with me until Mum or Dad or someone else come down." Julia was very concerned for the rights of house elves. She had read a book, SPEW a Making by Miss Hermione Granger Weasley. It was about her start of SPEW, Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare, in her fourth year at school. Julia had written to Miss Weasley and became an official member. She treated Tiety fairly and offered her money.
"If you insist Miss Julia," Tiety said setting two plates down. Tiety sat down across from Julia then brought forth an envelope. "For you Miss Julia."
Julia picked the envelope up, there was a Beauxbaton Academy of Magic symbol on it. "Ugh, I don't want to go to Beauxbaton, I want to go to Hogwarts," she said frustrated as she slit the envelope open.
"If it makes you feel any better, I sent a letter to Hogwarts for you," Tiety said quietly. She produced another envelope. Julia could see the Hogwarts coat of arms on it. "Here, school registration for Hogwarts." Tiety said in a calming voice.
"Tiety, you shouldn't have. Mum and Dad will punish you for sure. I promise to make sure they never find out. Thank you so much," Julia cried as she got up and hugged Tiety. Her hair turned from a sad black to cheerful blonde with purple. She quickly flung aside the Beauxbaton's letter and picked up the Hogwarts letter.

Julia was in such a perky mood until her mum and dad came down.
"Why so happy Jules," Mr. Bright asked as Tiety served him some green tea with a sprig of mint and some toast.
"I wrote to Hogwarts last week," Julia began, "And they sent a letter back." Julia held up the letter and her mother snatched it out of her hand.
Mrs. Bright tore open the envelope and began to read the contents. "There is no way you are going to Hogwarts. As I told you already you and Penelope are to go to Beauxbaton. Jonathan goes to Durmstrang and when Desa is old enough she will go to Beauxbaton."
Julia's hair turned a flamy red color. "Why?" she asked. "Why am I supposed to go to Beauxbaton? Is it just because we live in France. I would much rather go to Hogwarts or even Durmstrang."
Penelope walks down the stairs just at that moment. "Puuuuh who would want to go to Hogwarts. Beauxbaton is better its for people who actually want to accomplish stuff in life and not listen to some teachers who are horrible. Make a wise decision Jul they teach us so well at Beauxbaton," she said as she sat down at the table. "Tiety bring me some coffee," she snapped.
"I would never want to go to a school for stuck up little brats," Julia said to Penelope. "And stop ordering Tiety around. She's really nice and sweet and doesn't deserve your ordering."

Oh wow! I'm curious about the change of point of view, but I think both views are great! I think Julia should go to Hogwarts, and become friends with James and Audra. Her sister however, should go to a different school, doesn't matter which, as long as she is as far away from Hogwarts as possible. And the house-elf is awesome! I was surprised when you brought in SPEW! Love it, post more!

Hi all I have been thinking that I should restart this story and finally decided to. This is so far I think my best story but it got inactive. I recently found all my old papers for it, a notebook and a bunch of scrap paper all dedicated to this story, and thought that this was still good and that I should restart it. So with out further ado, here's the next chappie...

Chapter 3: Audra

Lets get back to present time now. It's 8:36 September 1st and I'm 11. You know what that means. At 11 o'clock I leave for Hogwarts on the Hogwarts Express. I'm brushing my hair when my mom comes in.

I stroke my fingers through my hair and ask, "When are my Greengrass highlights going to come in?" My mom and the Greengrass family have blonde hair with honey blonde hightlights, it's gorgeous. I however just have plain blonde Malfoy hair, no offense to my family. You know how I wanted a baby sister, on July 13th, my half birthday after Lily was born on, my wish came true. Mariah Ree Malfoy, my younger sister, has the Greengrass hair I want.

"I don't know dear," Mum said. "My cousin Marie didn't get them until she was 13." She pulled me close and began doing my hair. I looked at myself. Hmmmm. I grabbed a tube of mascara and put it on. That did the trick, made me look a bit older. Then I tried my hand at lipgloss and eyeliner. Then little Riah came into the room.

Mariah pointed at me and then my makeup in my hand. "I want some to," she pouted.

"Riah, you're five, isn't that a little young," I said with a slight laugh. But, still I pulled her over and put some lipgloss on her lips.

Once my mum had done my hair in a French braid twist I change. Now I don't really like the school uniform, but love the robes, so I decided that as soon as I got on the train I would put my robes on.

"Audra its 10:30 we really need to leave," mum yelled up the satairs at me. I rushed down the stairs grabbing Mariah along the way down. Mum, daddy, and Scorpius are there with my luggage. We apparate and side-along apparate to a nearby safe apparation spot to get to the station. Daddy pushes my luggage as we go through the barrier between 9&10. I see the Potter's and wave.

"Hey James," I say happily as I see my old friend. I feel Mariah let go of my hand to go play with Lily. They are seven months apart and best of friends. Just like me and James, and Albus and Scorp.

"Audra," James says with a bright smile on his face. "Let's go find a compartment then come back to say goodbye." He grabs his trunk then helps me with mine. We wander through the train then find Harry's godson Teddy Lupin. "Hey Ted, can we sit with you? And this is Audra Malfoy," James beams at Teddy.

"Sure," Teddy says brightly as he lifts my trunk up. "Expect some of your cousins to come along James. This is sort of a Weasley, Lupin, and now Potter and Malfoy compartment."

Once our trunks are up James pulls the compartment door open. "Come on Ted. We're going to say bye to our families. I'm sure mum and dad would love to see you," James says leading the way back.

When we get back to our parents my mum of course is worrying. "There you are. I was worried sick."

I laugh. Ohhhh mum. "Mum," I say stearnly. "If you're worried about me disappearing here, you'll be way more worried while I'm at Hogwarts. Calm yourself."

Mum laughs. "Oh bye darling. I'll write to you at least once a week," mum says pulling me into a huge hug. I look over and see James saying by to his parents and a few other relatives.

Daddy comes up and pulls me into a hug. "See you soon Audra. You make the Quidditch team for me. I'll be waiting for a letter to send your broomstick."

"Bye mum, dad. Count on that letter," I say and begin to follow James and some of his other relatives towards the train. Though I can't seem to find Teddy anywhere at all.

On the hurry back to our compartment I bump into a boy with pure black hair and black eyes. "Sorry," I say to the boy.

The boy's appearance suddenly changes and he's Teddy. "Relax Audra, it's me Teddy," he laughs. "I'm a metamorphugus, I can change my appearance."

Chapter 4: Audra

"Sorry Teddy," I say a little surprised.

"It's ok," he says with a smile. "Don't worry, you aren't the first to be surprised."

I smile at his reassuring face then continue my walk to the compartment. James is there with his cousins. Victoire, a fourth year daughter of Bill Weasley. Fred, a second year daughter of George in honor of his dead twin Fred. Then, Megan a fifth year daughter of Percy and his opposite. The family is so welcoming I am glad to join in.

Victoire or Vic, is the pretty blonde. Her great-grandmother is a veela, so she got some veela traits. She looks exactly like a reflection of her mom. I can tell that she likes Teddy. Vic is really nice and welcoming to me.

Fred has a red blacky hair. He has medium colored skin because his mom's skin was dark. He seems really funny and a trouble maker like his dad. He and Megan get along well.

Megan always has a twinkle in her green eyes. It looks like she is scheming something, which I found out she normally is. She's a brunette, but there is still a hint of Weasley red. Many people assumed she would end up prefect and head girl like Percy. But no, she is just like Fred and George, a prankster.

Vic gives me a warm smile. "Your the Malfoy girl right?"

"Yep, that's me. I'm Audra and I would assume you are...Victoire," I say returning her warm smile.

"Yep or Vic as my friends call me," she replies. "What house do you want to be in?"

"I really don't know. Slytherin or Gryffindor, but I think I'll let the sorting hat decide," I say.

"Ahh that's smart, I'm a Gryffindor going for prefect next year. Unlike Megan," Victoire whispers the last part about her cousin. "Her dad was prefect and head boy. She turned out to be a prankster."

"I heard that," Megan smirks winking at me. "You going to put me in detention next year?"

"Me too," Fred says. I found out he follows her everywhere to learn her techniques.

"Probably," Vic says with a laugh.

"Hmm," says a girl as she steps into the carriage. "Which one is Draco's girl?"

"I am," I say with a frown looking at the girl. "Who are you and what do you want with me?"

"I'm Jessica Parkinson. My mum was very good friends with your dad. I would love it if you would join me and my friends," the girl replies.

"Don't," Victoire whispers to me. "She's evil."

"No thank you. I have friends that I would like to stay with," I say slyly.

"You may regret that decision. I'll make a bad enemy and your father would like us to be friends," Jessica replies swiftly.

"My dad is happy with my friends," I say shutting the door on her.

Good job! It sounds good.
It'll be interesting to have a little Parkinson. Just wondering, what year is little Parkinson going into?
And good job Audra for refusing Parkinson!!

I love the idea of a little Parkinson and little Malfoy being sort of enemies. You find out later that Jessica is a third year and has an older sister, Anna, who is in her fifth year.

Chapter 5: Julia

"I told you I am not going to go to Beauxbatons," Julia screamed at her mom who was shoving her stuff in a trunk, to be taken to Beauxbatons of course. Julia's hair was dark and spiky. A clear sign of her rebellion. "I have told you multiple times, I am going to be going to Hogwarts next week when term starts. Not Beauxbatons today."

"Stop your complaining and get dressed young lady," her mom replied in a stern tone staring Julia down. "And do something about your hideous hair."

Julia just stared at her mom. "I guess you will have to make me do what you want me to do." Julia was snappy now. Her mom should know not to act like this to her. "You know why my features normally change mom, my metamorphusing skill isn't very good yet. My hair normally changes to match my mood." That was one thing that Julia didn't like about her talent. She couldn't control it well.

There was a small knock on her closed door. "Come in," Mrs. Bright snapped. Tiety the house elf walked in slowly. She was holding a letter and clearly didn't realize that Mrs. Bright was going to be in the room.

Tiety shyly walked forward. "Letter for Miss Julia," she said quietly thrusting it in Julia's hands before quickly moving back, letting Julia open it up.

Julia read it quickly not realizing that her mother was hovering over her shoulder. As her mood changed her hair turned into a chipper blonde. "Yes, they can take me out of this horrid place and onto Hogwarts. What a relief!"

Mrs. Bright scowled and grabbed the letter quickly out of Julia's hands rereading it very quickly. "A Hogwarts official, in our house. Coming to make Julia go to Hogwarts," she whispered thinking quickly. "Julia I am going to force you to change. Believe me either you do it by yourself, or I will punish you severely." Mrs. Bright threatened grabbing the trunk off of Julia's bed and opening the door. "I expect you downstairs in two minutes."

Julia sat down hard on her bed. Her hopes were crushed now. She would never be able to go to Hogwarts. Why were her parents so stupidly stubborn? Julia sighed and pulled on an outfit quickly before running down the stairs. Once she got there her mom grabbed her by the collar and dragged her into the family car. “Goodbye hope of Hogwarts. Hello Beauxbatons,” she whispered.

Hey, I know it is short but, I am creating Julia from scratch and am a bit stuck right here.
