This, new FanFic of mine, is the diary of Wednesday Addams. I know my character has kept in a lot secrets and I know it's probably driving her friends mad. Well, I'm giving those who know her (and those who don't) a chance to figure out how secretive she is, why she's keeping it all in, and what made her this way. Enjoy and please be gentle on the criticism.

Day 1: Back to Black...

I thought I was cured. I thought this year would change and I'd go back to normal. But no, I go back to black. I'm back to my old ways: seeing things in a whole new way, holding in secrets from my best friends, staying quiet and out of the way, and never getting any sleep. It's driving me nuts! I try to not tell myself this but I'll never be as normal as I want to be. My family thinks they understand but they're just saying that to make me feel better.

Enough about me, I'll get more into detail about me later. Now, there are some things about my friends, that I want to get off my chest.

Kate Monaghan: We met in our first term and she's pretty cool. But, I can't help but feel she's annoyed by me. Ever since I found one of my brothers told her I was crushing on her boyfriend, we seem to be drifting or something...Maybe that's just me. The last time I said hi to Kate, she asked if I was hiding something and I said no, then she walked away with annoyance. On the same day, she found me talking to her boyfriend and she looked like she was going to kill someone. As much I want to tell her everything, I really don't she'll approve of what I would reveal. Then again, I think that way about everyone.

Josh Moonson: I told him almost everything about me creepy life. I told him about how crazy my whole family are and he's witnessed me going insane while wearing a pair of red shoes (I'll explain later). He's like the brother I would never murder, in his sleep. I think it's kinda creepy how he's dated almost every girl in the school (not every girl, you know what I mean). He's dated Kate, my friend Tuesday, Xana, and others I don't know. I don't think Josh has ever realized how secretive I am, or does he?...I never thought to ask because I don't want him to get very suspicious.

Amos Waters: He is Kate's boyfriend, my first crush, and my best friend, who knows I'm hiding a novel-load of secrets. It's not that I don't want to tell him everything, I really do. I keep wondering if he knows I'm having mixed-feelings for him, I want to really like him but I can't because he already has his dream girl. And Amos knows too much about me and it's creepy. I could never keep a secret from him, last term, because I felt like I could really trust him. Now that he knows too much, I'm definitely trying my hardest to resist. But for how long?...Because I think he might've figured out I still sorta like him. I hope not because he could never like me back. Like I said, he already has his dream girl, and I want Kate to be happy. Their happiness and is worth more than mine. If I ever told him what I just wrote, I'd hope for him to understand.

Day 2: They're trying to make me miserable...

As if things aren't bad enough, dad's getting married and the bride's a prego! *Argh* I met her and she doesn't look too bright and she looks too young to marry some bloke who's 37. I mean, c'mon! it's like the bloody flu! All of the muggle young actresses are dating/ or marrying older blokes like Chris (my ex-father). Alison (the bride to be) could do so much better, she has a whole life ahead of her...It's not that I'm happy that Chris is getting married or another. It's just, everyone knows she and the baby(s) are in danger.

Allow me to elaborate: The Addams Family is very complicated clan. We are so complicated, we had to split each other into two groups. (Allow me to elaborate that too...)Half my family are evil, dark wizards/witches and they all live in France. The other half are good, noble wizards/witches and we all live in Scotland. Guess which side I'm on! Yes, the good side. Though, I'm not entirely good. I'm confused on which side I should stay loyal to. Part of me wants to stay loyal (and continue what I started) and join the dark side. I also want to use my powers for good and stay on the good side. Everyone in the family knows about this, which makes me juicy gossip. Isn't that exciting? Not! I've become the most hated person, in under 5 years (a little family humor, I'll explain later.) That's why I refer to Chris as my ex-father, because he disowned me for being confused. Like he's so perfect! He was born into the bad side, but when he turned 12, he went over to the good side (for unknown reasons). Now you have a taste of how strange my family is...

This song makes a very good point. Yes, I know! It's strange how I, as a witch, watch muggle movies. I never believe what my mirrors show me. I'm looking at it right now! I see an innocent-looking, witty, beautiful, smart, and loved girl. That's so not me. I'm emo, vulnerable, guilty (as charged), a dumb brunette, and totally not that beautiful and certainly not loved! I hate that mirrors only show your outer self, NOT your inner self. I want to believe I'm what my mirror shows me, but it's always wrong. Sometimes, I break my mirrors, then repair them (with my powers) to see if they'll show what I really am. Of course it never works! Don't you ever wonder if your mirror shows you the truth? Are you really what your mirror shows you?

I know, it crazy, for me, to over-think things, like mirrors. But I can never stop thinking, it's hard to stop because a new thought pops up every waking second! Call me crazy, but look in the mirror and answer me this: does your mirror show what you really are?...

Wednesday is way too emo. AWESOME.

Day 4: Confusing...

Is it just me or are things getting both better and and worse by the minute?

My best friend, Amos, and I were having our little chats at the Ravenclaw common today and I have to say, I felt so uncomfortable. Unlike last term, were starting to get to know each other better. There was so much about him that I didn't know...Like he and I love the muggle musician Declan Galbraith, we love the muggle movie Pan's Labyrinth, and we have psycho fathers (that's old news). Gosh, he's such a great person and it's surprising that he still puts up with me, after a year.

Now that I think about it, it's so weird how we even ended such great friends. Last term, we were so different than we are now. He came to Hogwarts as this short, adorable-looking, quiet, weird, mysterious boy. I came as an emo, adorable-looking, talkative, mysterious, secretive, ultra-weird girl. During that term, he saved my life some many times and I never got a chance to repay him. I practically owe my life I would give him a "thank you" card, but I don't know if they have one that says "Thanks for saving my life from dark magical objects and crazy people". Now, here we are: I'm still emo, secretive, mysterious, ultra-weird, hot-looking, and not so talkative. Amos is tall, weird, sometimes mysterious, not so quiet anymore, and very hot. And now, you can sorta see why I might still like him.

So, back to my previous subject, we were learning so much about each other, but I'm still keeping loads of secrets. As much as it pains me to do so, I have to hide myself from him and I know it kills him when I do that. Every now and then, he asks me if I'm okay or if there's something I wish to tell him and I lie. I tell him I'm fine or I have nothing to tell him. You can go right ahead and see me as a terrible friend, but I'm doing this for good reasons. I'm doing this so he won't leave me, like my family did. I know it's crazy, but...

a girl has to do what a girl has to do.
