Hogwarts RPG Name: Skade Prezton | The Weapon - Sa13+ This is my new story, The Weapon I hope you enjoy it! I've put it in Other section as while it is mainly action, there will be some romance and things so!!! I don't plain on it being overly violent or anything but i figured a 13+ rating just in case! >>*<<
“You’re short,” The significantly taller, black robed man pointed out and the young woman raised her eyebrows at him.
“A keen observation,” She remarked smoothly as she settled herself in the simple chair that sat opposite the other gentleman’s desk.
The room within which she sat was cluttered, certainly not decorated, with countless jars and oddities. Some of the contents of the jars wriggled and writhed while a few glowed eerily, casting shadows across the furniture which was kept at bare minimum by a man who clearly was not one for extravagance.
The young woman regarded Severus Snape, Potions Master and Head of Slytherin, without the fear he was usually viewed with. Even during her school years, the sallow-skinned, hooked nose wizard had never instilled neither fear nor hatred in the young Hufflepuff who now stood before him, looking for a job.
“You will hardly pose a foreboding presence to students, I expect…” The Potion’s Master paused as he sat at his desk, eyeing her critically. “That you will find you’ve a difficult time disciplining these students.”
“I think you are mistaken there, Professor,” She said with forced sweetness. Though she may not have been frightened by him, she’d have to have been insane to like him.
“I have had extensive teacher training, taking on my roles and responsibilities in my learning than –”
“Than any other students and Wilfredongo’s University of Witches and Wizards,” He finished for her. “I’ve read your file, Miss Kehde and as far as I’m concerned it means naught at the moment.”
“I am not looking for your approval,” She retorted. “I have the Headmaster’s.”
“Then why are you here?” He drawled, clearly displeased at what he believed was a waste of time.
She took a deep breath to keep her anger in check, “As you know, I’ve not chosen a subject to specialize in and as such, being as I am still studying until the end of the year, seek experience in all subject areas. Therefore, I am required to attend interviews with all supervising teachers during my practical teaching time at Hogwarts.”
“Hufflepuff!”
“Pardon?”
“You’re too indecisive, it’s one of the things I remember during your study here,” Snape smirked, folding his arms across his chest. “You did show adeptness in Potion’s, however so I am willing to allow your assistance in my classroom.”
He stood in one fluid movement and she hurried to her feet, surprise evident on her face.
“You’re young and foolish,” Snape observed and she glared up at him. “Time in my class should knock that out of you.”
>>*<<
“A weapon?” The young bushy hair witch asked, flicking through the pages of a dusty tome that sat on her lap.
“Like a really big wand,” The red head behind her mused and she raised her eyebrows at him.
“Ronald,” She sighed, talking as if to a child. “Size has nothing to do with the magic capabilities of anything. A wand is only as good as the wizard.”
“I dunno, Hermione,” He said casually. “When it comes down to it, I’d rather have a big stick than a little one.”
“You’re not very helpful, you know,” intervened a boy with glasses and big green eyes.
“Harry, I don’t get paid enough to be helpful,” Ron sighed dramatically. “I feel it is my duty to sit here and look good.”
“Well being as you failed at that,” Harry Potter said with a grin and tossed a book to him. “Help.”
“Harry, is that all the inscription said?” Hermione said, looking at the scrap of parchment on the desk beside her.
“Only a weapon of life shall concur the master of death,” Harry repeated for what felt like the thousandth time.
“Inscriptions on tombs?” Ron cut in with the same argument he’d been working on for the past fortnight. “How reliable is that?
“If I can find a weapon to defeat Voldermort than it’ll be worth it!” Harry shot back irritably.
“Ok, ok!” Ron held up his hands in surrender.
“Sorry,” Harry said wearily, putting down the book he was looking at. “We’re just getting nowhere.”
They continued flicking through books until someone walked by and they quickly tried to appear as if they’d been studying.
“Looking up contraband?” Said a smooth voice and they glanced up to see Miss Kehde smiling down at them. “You know there’s this neat little store on Diagon Alley where they sell pixie tears, illegal but so useful.”
“Err…” Ron stammered, clearly bewildered.
“I’m joking, Mr. Weasley,” She said with a smile. “I’m Adele Kehde, teacher’s assistant for the year.”
“The Headmaster said there would be a student teacher,” Hermione nodded. “Nice to meet you.”
“And you Miss Granger,” Kehde smiled. “But seriously, what were you looking for? You all seem rather wrung out, can I help?”
“Just studying,” Harry said, nervously.
“I wouldn’t be much of an assistant if you guys don’t let me assist,” She said curtly, picking up the book Ron had been looking through. “‘Wacky Weapons and How to Use Them’?”
“Magical Histories essay,” Ron fumbled out.
“I love history!” Kehde exclaimed. “But this is no use in any of the subjects you’re covering. If I didn’t know any better…” She glanced over the titles they had attempted to conceal. “I’d say you were searching for the Weapon of Life?”
Harry felt his jaw must have hit the desk and he struggled to conceal his surprise.
“I’ll take those facial expressions as a yes?”
“What do you know about the Weapon, Miss Kehde?” Hermione asked eagerly.
“I wrote a thesis on it,” She informed them, her eyes narrowing slightly as she considered them. “Although, as to why young students such as yourselves are searching for it…?”
“Just curiosity,” Hermione said in an overly bright tone.
“Rather avid curiosity, is it not?” Miss Kehde said, realizing they weren’t about to share anything with her.
Harry grinned nervously, “It’s just the way Hermione is, Miss. Once something is in her head, she makes us study till we drop.”
“I see,” Kehde said slowly. “Well, I’m around if you need any assistance with your curiosity, Miss Granger.”
She nodded, and left, her black robes swirling around her as she left the library.
The trio breathed a collective sigh of relief.
“I think perhaps we’re best to study in private,” Hermione said finally.
Ron looked thoughtful, “Or not at all.”

Hogwarts RPG Name: Skade Prezton | Nothing to hide, believe what I say... “Do you think she’s evil?” Ron asked one morning as they ate breakfast in the Great Hall.
“She was a student here a few years back, she’s been studying at Wilfredongo’s, I don’t think she could be evil.”
“Hermione, that means nothing. You-Know-Who studied here and look at him! Besides, she wears a lot of black, maybe she’s in league with Snape!”
“Black is a pretty popular colour among witches and wizards,” Harry interjected.
Hermione rolled her eyes, “Besides the fact it is not a colour, you two are absolute twits. She is just a teaching assistant.”
Harry shook his head slowly, “She knew about the Weapon.”
To this, Hermione did not reply but turned back to her notes for Ancient Runes while Harry and Ron continued to watch the new teacher’s assistant suspiciously.
*
“Miss Kehde, what a pleasure,” The Headmaster said with a genuine smile, indicating that she take a seat.
Kehde smiled and brushed her long, dark hair back off her face.
“How are you finding the students?”
“Testing,” She agreed. “But I do enjoy teaching.”
“Any ideas on what subject you’d like to specialize in?”
She looked thoughtful, “No, I’m still unsure. I haven’t been here for long enough yet.
“Well, plenty of time for decisions. What can I help you with?”
“The Order of the Phoenix.”
Dumbledore’s smile did not falter, “Pardon?”
“The Order, Headmaster,” Adele continued. “I think you’ll find I’m an asset.”
He looked at her carefully, deciding not to lie for she was clearly an astute young witch.
“How you found about this Order, I do not know but I am afraid we are not recruiting Miss Kehde.”
For a moment, he swear he saw a flicker of fear cross her features.
“Headmaster, please…” She trailed around, her eyes searching his face.
“I’m sorry, Miss Kehde. It is not a matter for discussion.”
She nodded sharply and stood.
“May I ask as to why you are so eager to join?”
“What girl doesn’t want to be a hero?” She lied, with a shrug of her shoulders.
*
“Severus, I’m concerned,” Dumbledore said, resting his chin on his folded hands as he leaned on his desk.
The Potion’s Master didn’t say anything however it was the Head of Gryffindor who spoke next.
“Albus, that she knows about the Order is no great feat,” Minerva said gently. “Hardly reason for concern in times such as these.”
“That is not what troubles me,” Dumbledore said. “I am worried as to why she wishes to join the Order. Adele seems set on securing a solid teaching job, all reports I’ve received from the teacher’s describe her as remarkably focused and adept in handling the children. Even Severus here can not fault her.”
“You’ve lost me,” Minerva said, frowning slightly.
Snape leaned forward, “Why would someone with so much before her want to throw it away and join a war?”
“A thrill?” Minerva shrugged. “She is still just a child.”
“She was a Hufflepuff,” Snape snorted, leaning back in the chair and folding his arms across his chest. “I don’t understand, Albus.”
“You’ve denied her request, of course?”
“Naturally, Minerva,” Dumbledore assured her. “Any conclusions?”
“There isn’t much we know, at this point,” Snape admitted grudgingly. “I suggest we simply observe and wait. I myself am curious as to how she found out about the Order. Yes, we are a little more public these days but not our members or I’d be out of two jobs.”
Minerva nodded, “Agreed.”
“Please keep a close eye on her, both of you. You are my most trusted and I fear that before this year is out, we will face grave dangers at this school,” Dumbledore said softly as if hoping it would not be so. |

“Another week down!” Ron exclaimed, collapsing in a chair in their Common Room.
“Hardly cause for relief!” Hermione scoffed, setlling down beside him and searching through her bag for something. “We’ve so much work and looking for this weapon…” She trailed off, heaving the bag on to her lap to better look.
“Hermione!” Hissed Harry as he sat in the chair opposite them. “Attempt subtlety, please?”
“Sorry,” She said sheepishly, yanking a book triumphantly out of her bag.
“Hermione!” Ron hissed at her. “Put that away!”
“Why?” She looked thoroughly confused. “It’s just for Defense.”
“It’s Friday!” Ron exclaimed to the ceiling. “Can we relax for a moment?”
“Ron, maybe we should be studying,” Harry said thoughtfully.
Hermione opened her mouth to congratulate him but he continued.
“We know that…” He lowered his voice as a group of 2nd years walked by. “ You-Know-Who is abroad searching for this thing. In my vision I saw this tomb, this inscription. We need to find out where the tomb is, who is in it!”
Hermione looked troubled, “I really wish you’d take up Occulemency again, Harry. This can’t be safe, you seeing into his mind.”
“If it gives us clues as to how to stop him, it can’t be bad!”
“Still, you get this creepy zombie look every time it happens,” He mimicked the look as best he could causing Hermione to frown and Harry to smile slightly. “I’m starting to get nightmares mate.”
“Look, you guys don’t need to help. I know how worried you are about your studies – ”
“The price of genius,” Ron sighed.
“ – but this is my path, my duty and I’m not going to back down because my scar hurts!”
“Harry, you know we’re behind you 100% but there is only so much we can find out, only so many times we can go over those maps. We don’t know where the tomb is!” Hermione pointed out, clearly frustrated by her own lack of knowledge on the matter.
“I know,” Harry admitted, clearly resigned to the fact. “Look, I’m going to head to the library anyway, I’ll meet you guys for dinner.”
>*<
In the library, Harry once again spread out all the maps they could find of the surrounding magical cemeteries and any books he thought may be relevant, among them Definate Death Beds of the Magically Mysterious.
Harry had been pouring over these for nearly an hour and his head was resting on his hand as his eyes started to droop.
“Mr Potter?” A soft voice interrupted his doze.
“Hmm?” He said wearily lifting his head. “Oh, Miss Kedhe, sorry.”
“No need to apologise,” She said with a smile. “Still researching out of curiosity?”
“Um…” He fumbled for an explanations, looking at the incriminating texts spread out before him.
“Look Harry,” She said with a serious tone. “Researching such a topic as the Weapon of Life can lead you to a lot of dark places.”
He regarded her carefully, “I’m not researching any weapon, Miss.”
“Of course not,” She turned to leave than paused. “The graveyard you’re looking for is in the Ukraine, you wont find a name on the tomb however the town is Trindenbul.”
“I don’t understand why I’d need to know such information…” Harry trailed off.
She rolled her eyes with a small smile, “I’m not stupid, Mr. Potter but please, remember what I said. You’ll be lead through a lot of dark places on this search. Be careful.”

Hogwarts RPG Name: Skade Prezton | The Frost performs its secret ministry unhelped by any wind... you're so not helpful it's hard to write without readers to bounce off but i'm getting there you're nearly caught up with me!! >>*<< Severus Snape pulled his cloak tighter in a vain attempt to block out the piercing cold. He wore an expression that would cause any wizard to cross to the other side of the street just to avoid walking by him. Snape, however, did not pay any attention to the passers-by but instead kept his focus on the restaurant window opposite where he stood. Inside, unaware of the cold eyes watching them, sat two young women, finishing their meals and chatting happily. The woman on the right had brilliant purple hair that hung perfectly straight, she was thin but not unhealthy looking and wore what Snape assumed were modern or “trend-setting” robes. Her friend wore all black, the high-necked dress only just concealing her more curved figure, her jet black waves were pinned up untidily. Snape watched her more intensely as her dark eyes constantly scanned the pedestrians as they walked by the window. Snape wondered who she was looking for. Eventually, the check was brought to the table and after a short squabble as to who would pay, both women stepped out on to the side walk to say their goodbyes and part ways. The woman in black kept glancing around nervously as the pair promised to see each other again soon. After a brief hug, the purple-haired woman turned and crossed the street, coming dangerously close to where Snape had been but the Head of Slytherin had already slipped back into the shadows. The woman in black pulled on a large coat before turning and hurrying down the street, heading in the direction of Hogwart’s, unaware of Snape trailing after her. She passed a tavern just as a rather noisy knot of wizards poured out onto the pavement and Snape lost sight of her. He paused uncertainly at the mouth of a dark alleyway, his keen eyes scanning the street. “Don’t move,” Came a soft, deep voice from behind him as he felt a wand tip press against the small of his back. Snape spun quickly, startling his would-be attacker as he drew his wand. “Expelliarmus!” He shouted, deftly catching the assailants wand as they stumbled back several steps. “Professor?” Adele gaped up at him. “You were following me?” He scowled down at her, a look of anger twisting his features, “You must be paranoid if you think that.” “Paranoid for a reason, it appears,” She shot back hotly. “I don’t know what your problem is you silly girl!” He growled at her, handing her wand back. “But why am I not allowed to lead a life outside of Hogwart’s? It’s completely injust and…” He trailed off as an expression of fear crossed her features, her eyes widening as she peered past him. “What?” He hissed, turning to look behind him but stopped by her hand on his arm. “Professor, do you trust me?” She whispered, her grip tightening. He frowned, “No.” She darted down the dark alleyway, dragging the protesting Potion’s Master behind her. They came to a dead end but Adele didn’t paused and walked straight through the opposing stone wall, Snape just managing to tug his arm free in time. He turned and saw five large men in hooded cloaks enter the mouth of the alleyway, he recognized them instantly as Death Eaters and hoped it was too dark for them to identify him. Adele’s head poked back through the stone wall. “Professor!” He whipped around and saw her arms reach out through the wall to grasp the front of his robes and yank him through. |

“What- how did…” He spluttered, straightening and wrenching his robes out of her grip. “What is going on?!” He demanded.
“We need to keep going before they figure out where to Apparate to,” She said, avoiding the question.
The wall they had passed through was adjacent to the back of a small grocery store. They tried to pick their way quietly through the debris that littered the ground.
“What are you doing?” Snape whispered fiercely. “This way!”
He led them to the right of the grocer, down a narrow side lane that led to another well lit street. Adele hung back in the shadows, not wanting to venture in to the open.
“Hurry, woman!” Snape snapped.
She shook her head, “They’re waiting out there.”
Snape glared at her but, noting the genuine fear in her eyes, kept his opinion to himself.
“I’ll check, wait here,” He instructed and then, casting a Disillusionment Charm on himself, stepped out on to the street.
With a small shock, he realized Adele was right, scattered amongst the late night shoppers close to where they hid were the five Death Eaters.
Snape stepped back in to the shadows, removing the charm.
“We can’t Apparate back to the school,” Snape informed the young student teacher softly. “We have to get there on foot due to the anti-apparition charms.”
“I know,” Adele said, keeping her voice low. “But how do we get by them?”
“There’s a pub across this street and four doors down,” Snape pointed. “If we get there, I know the owner and he’ll let us use the passageways leading from his basement. The town is honeycombed with them. We should be able to get to the outskirts undetected.
“Good plan,” Adele agreed before pausing. “But how do we get from here to there without being noticed? Chances are they’ve got detection charms circling.”
He lifted his wand and pointed at the clothing store across the road, “Estragar!”
The crack as the spell hit the store front was deafening and before Adele could blink, Snape had taken hold of her elbow and was propelling her forcefully through the panic stricken crowd.
Adele spotted one of the Death Eaters who had noticed them and was signaling for his companions to follow but Snape didn’t slow, weaving in and out of the crowd, they were lost from sight just in time to duck in to the small pub. The patrons glanced over at them, several of the more curious ones pressed against the windows to view the commotion out on the street.
“Severus!” The bartender called out to them, tossing a rag over his shoulder. “How are you?”
The man was short and well-rounded, his face lined with years of working in hospitality and scarred as a result of one too many bar fights but he had an honest bearing and beamed at Adele as they approached.
“Crenden, would you mind if you used the back door?” Snape asked, looking intently at the gentleman, trying to block Adele from his curious eyes however she was busy looking at the other, younger bartender who was smiling over at her.
“On one condition,” Crenden said with a smile, watching Adele grin shyly back at the other young bartender.
Snape caught Adele’s grin and elbowed her roughly in the side, she glared up at him but he didn’t catch it, turning back to face Crenden.
“That you come back and have a few drinks with me,” Crenden said. “You’ll have some explaining to do.”
“When I get a chance,” Snape agreed and with a swirl, of his cloak, had walked around the bar and through a door into the store room beyond, Adele just managing to keep up.
Crenden turned to the young bartender with a smirk, “You watch yourself, Estin. If she’s with Severus than she’s trouble.”
The young bartender just shook his head and went to take out the bins as five large men in dark robes stormed in. |

“Can I help you gentlemen?” Crenden asked warily.
“We’re looking for a man and a young lady, they just came in here,” One announced in a gravelly voice.
“Many a couple pass through here,” Crenden replied slowly. “We’ve a romantic atmosphere.”
Estin snorted but kept his eyes downcast as several of the Death Eater’s turned to him.
“What’s in that store room, friend?” Drawled the Death Eater who had spoken earlier. “Wouldn’t mind if we had a look, would you? Friend?”
Crenden picked up on the silent threat and nodded his head towards the store room door that Snape and Adele had just passed through, “Be my guest.”
>>*<<
Snape had shifted aside the boxes covering the trap door that led down in to the passageway they needed and, after jumping down himself, was helping Adele down when they heard the Death Eaters enter the pub.
“Hurry!” He hissed as Adele dropped down beside him.
“Oh quiet!” She snapped back, helping him levitate the boxes back over the door just as the entrance to the store room opened.
He indicated she keep quiet and with a sharp jerk of his head, directed her as to which way they needed to go and with a nod, she set off down the passageway, drawing her wand as Snape kept watch behind them, wand in hand.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Skade Prezton | hey WELCOMES nice to meet you, I'm Audrey Please feel free to give me an honest opinion, let me know if it sucks!! >>*<<
“My dear, please take a seat,” Dumbledore said with a warm smile as Snape took up post by the door, arms folded and a scowl set firmly in place. “I believe we need to have a little discussion.”
“Headmaster, I don’t know what – ” Adele began frantically as she sat down, her eyes wide.
“My child,” Dumbledore held up a hand to silence her. “I do not consider you anything but an honest and stalwart young woman however when one of my charges is set upon by Death Eaters, I have cause for concern.”
“Headmaster,” Adele spoke more calmly this time. “Things like this, Death Eater attacks on myself, my family, they’ve been happening for the past year now. I don’t know why, I’m sorry but there is little information I have. One of the reasons I chose Hogwart’s was for the security and that I was far removed from my family.”
“And for the Order?” Snape drawled from behind her but she didn’t turn, keeping her eyes on Dumbledore.
“I need your help,” Adele said bluntly, looking imploringly at the old man. “I need to know why they are after me. It started with my… my mother…”
“I know,” Dumbledore said sympathetically, glancing up at Snape who raised his eyebrows in query.
“I won’t lose anyone else in my family because of me,” She said firmly.
Dumbledore nodded and looked thoughtful for a moment, “Miss Kehde, you’ve been assisting Mr. Potter with some research, have you not?”
She looked confused, “He seems to be researching the Weapon of Life, sir. I’m assuming to fight You-Know-Who?”
Dumbledore hardly blinked so she went on.
“I caught him in the library a few times, offered some information. I studied the Weapon extensively.”
“It appears, from all reports that you are the single most informed witch on the subject,” Snape spoke up and she glanced over her shoulder at him.
“I would hardly say that.”
She turned back to Dumbledore who smiled at her, “My dear, I regret to inform you that you are. How much information did you provide young Harry?”
She thought for a moment, “The location of the tomb where the inscription has been found. I also told him there was no name on the tomb which there isn’t.”
“Not any more, at least,” Dumbledore corrected.
“Right,” She nodded. “I’ve been trying for the better part of two years to reconstruct the stone where the name was. It was cursed so terribly it is proving to be extremely difficult.”
“So this is why we were beset by Death Eaters?” Snape demanded. “A name that doesn’t exist?”
“It is more than just a name,” Adele growled defensively, turning to glare at him. “The inscription denotes a weapon that can defeat death! Someone clearly didn’t want people to know who owned the grave but why did they leave the inscription, surely that was more incriminating?”
“It is a foolish legend!”
“Than why go to the trouble of hushing it up? Why is Harry Potter researching it? Why are Death Eaters killing my family?!” She finished in a shout, jumping to her feet and looking slightly embarrassed at doing so.
Snape narrowed his eyes slightly but said nothing as she sat back down.
“Harry has already approached me with the information you have provided him,” Dumbledore informed her gently, turning the subject away from Death Eaters for the moment. “Severus, what do you suggest our move next move should be?”
The Potion’s Master thought for a long moment, Adele fidgeted in her seat feeling useless and childish.
“From what we know of Potter’s visions,” Snape began slowly. “We can presume the Dark Lord is abroad searching for this weapon… Perhaps we should search this graveyard, see what information we can uncover. Anything to keep us one step ahead or at the very least, stop us fumbling about in the dark.”
Dumbledore nodded his agreement and then beamed unexpectedly at Adele who look like a unicorn caught in the wand-light, “And who better to lead such an expedition?”
“Headmaster!” Both Snape and Adele exclaimed together, Snape’s word coming out drawled and indignant while Adele squeaked in surprise.
“Headmaster,” Snape insisted as Adele fell silent. “It will not be necessary to risk Miss Kehde in such a matter, I am more than capable of completing this task alone. She is just a child.”
“I am not a child,” Adele said indignantly, standing to face the Potion’s Master, toe to toe. “Besides the fact I received top marks for Defense Against the Dark Arts in my final year, I was also asked to study to become an Auror by the Ministry! A child!” She scoffed, stepping back slightly. “I’ve no need for your protection, whatever ever that may entail.”
Dumbledore’s smile did not falter as he looked at Snape who clearly desired nothing more than to curse the young teacher in to oblivion.
“Severus, naturally you wouldn’t think I’d send you and Miss Kehde in to the wilderness of the Ukraine alone?” Dumbledore continued good humouredly, ignoring both their glares. “With all of Miss Kehde’s knowledge, you’ll still need assistance. Mr Potter will be going with you as well and his two young friends.”
Snape’s look could have frozen fire.

“Adele,” Dumbledore said quietly once Snape had stormed off to the dungeons.
She paused in her move to stand, settling back in to the chair, “Yes, Headmaster?”
“You said you wanted protection, or at least somewhere to hide,” Dumbledore said carefully, watching her responses closely.
“I don’t want to stay in the open,” She said softly. “My family is at risk, sir.”
“I understand your feelings.”
She gave a tight smile.
“I knew your mother well, what happened was not only unnecessary but a tremendous loss.”
The smile vanished.
“You knew her?” Adele asked, a blank look covering her features.
“I remember the first moment I met her and consequently, the first moment I met you.”
She looked curiously up at him.
Dumbledore smiled at the memory, “As you know, you’re mother was a muggle and naturally, when you were about two there was a great deal of confusion. All over the muggle news, someone had to step in and calm the situation,” Dumbledore chuckled softly. “I remember the first moment I saw you, your poor mother was near tears and there you were, this little thing hovering nearly two feet above the ground, completely oblivious as you played with your toys!”
Adele couldn’t help but smile at the twinkle in the Headmaster’s bright blue eyes.
“She had not been aware that your father was a wizard, it appeared,” Dumbledore surmised.
Adele took a deep breath before standing finally, “She never told me who my father was.”
Dumbledore didn’t say anything.
“Now she is gone, I will do anything to protect what is left of my family,” She said firmly. “Goodnight, sir.”

“How do we get there? The children are too young to apparate,” Adele pointed out.
They were sitting in the Potions Master’s office. The dark room had a strong, herb-like odour, the shelves living every wall were packed full of jars and boxes containing all manner or wonderful and worrying objects.
The Head of Slytherin did not look up from the papers he was persistently marking even though they were to discuss the upcoming ‘excursion’ in two days.
“We’ve already organised transport,” Snape informed her patiently, still not looking up.
“Do I get to know - ?”
“I am busy, Miss Kehde,” Snape said in a low voice.
“I’m annoyed,” She replied sourly, standing and leaving before he could snap at her.
He closed his eyes for a brief moment, cursing the Headmaster for his present predicament.
Perhaps, with a little luck, he’d lose one of them along the way. >>*<< |
