Chapter One-Unexpected
The restraunt was slow tonight. Customers trickled in, weary with their troubles. If only they knew, Hermione Granger thought. Her life was filled with more troubles than were in this room.
She served them all however, not really looking at them.
"Hello, my name is Ginny, how may I help you?" Hermione asked, her stage name already decided on. From what she could tell, the customer was a tall male. When was the last time she saw a tall male who she liked?
"Um, yeah, I'd like a hamburger, a chocolate milkshake-extra large, the type with the cherries, and one-two orders of large fries. The voice was achingly familiar and brought back unwanted memories. She forced herself to look at the man's face, hoping to not see what she expected.
"Ron," she breathed.

OOHH! I love it!
I'm gonna be one of your #1 fans!
I wonder what will happen when Ron realizes that "Ginny" is Hermione!

Anyway here's Chapter 2!
"Excuse me?" Ron was taken aback. Had this strange woman said his name? He looked in her face and saw nothing familiar. Her hair was black and crew-cut, her eyes were small and blue, and her nose was large-she wasn't pretty by normal standards, but the face was...reminiscent of old memories.
"Hem, hem." Hermione faked coughed to cover her voice up. "Okay, your order will be out shortly. Order two thirty-nine. About ten minutes, sir."
Hermione headed back to behind the counter to talk to her friend Maggie.
"Mags, I know that man." Maggie gave her a strange look.
"Ginger? How? Gin, do you need me to go out there? Is he the one you knew back then?"
"No, Maggie. Well, yes. He is, but I was lying to you. I'll tell you what really went on between us." Hermione looked down at her purple-conversed feet. "It's not with a happy ending."

"I was eighteen and so was he. At our school, some bad things were happening. It was a war, and we were somewhat nieve that bad things wouldn't happen to us.
Our best friend was brave, smart, and he was the one the enemy hated. He had to sacrifice himself, but we didn't know that. We thought that the day he left, he would come back in an hour or two. We were wrong.
That was the day that he asked me to marry him. I was so in love, I couldn't picture saying no, it was just so stupid how head-over-heels we were-we thought we were.
His sister was with us that day too. She was so excited, she planned it all in about an hour. She thought it was going to be a double wedding with our best friend-they were in love also. It was the happiest day of my life-for about six hours.
We got a letter saying our best friend had been killed. He let himself be killed. He knew it had to happen. We were anguished-we were scared and sad, and walked around in a stupor for a week.
After a few days, we noticed something was wrong. His sister was so distant. The day next, she vanished. I couldn't stay there, couldn't let him see me like this. I left a week later.
I can't sit here and just see him. I am still in love with him.
His name is Ron. My name is really Hermione. His sisters name-was-is-I don't know-Ginny.
Our friend was Harry Potter. The Boy who Lived, then died and crushed us."

Ginny didn't die, she vanished -? Well, then there's still the hope that she might be alive? Hmm... this could be developed in a lot of ways. Niiice, I like it. xDD

Thanks! I loved writing that line, and I knew her little speech had to end with something like that.

Maggie stared at her for a few minutes, then spoke up. "I-I.....Ginny?" she asked, looking down at her feet like they were the most exciting thing since sliced bread. "I know who you are. Mione. Don't worry. Everything will be fine." Maggie looked up at her, and Hermione noticed an unusual glint in her eyes.

Her black eyes.

As soon as Hermione noticed this, Maggie stood up and transformed into the face Hermione never wanted to see again, the face of a killer and a theif of life, the woman whose heart was so full of hatred she could never see light in this world.

Bellatrix Lestrange.

Hermione turned aroung in horror as Ron stood up and rushed to her side. "CRUCIO!" Hermione heard someone yell in a coarse voice.

And everything went black. In the seconds she had, she felt.....
