Alrighty here's a new chapter!!

Chapter Nine: The Quidditch Game

Like the rest of the school, the Gates twins were excited when the time

came for the first Quidditch game. It was a blustery day and Charlotte

wrapped another scarf around her neck as she, Liam, Hermione, Ron, and

Ginny make their way to the Quidditch pitch to get good seats. "Hope Harry

isn't too distractedfrom Sirius Black trying to get past the Fat Lady."

Charlotte said worridely, bringing up the incident that had only happened a

matter of days ago. "I wouldn't worry too much about Harry, Lottie." replied

Hermione giving Charlotte a reassuring hug. "Last year the entire school

thought he was trying to kill off all the Muggleborns." she continued as Ron's

expression became solemn and Ginny looked down at her feet and said, "Yeah

all because of my stupidity."


"Now Gin, you know it was because Mr. Malfoy put the journal in your

cauldron in Flourish and Blotts." Ron said. "Wow! You lot seem to have a lot

on your hands!" Liam exclaimed as they reached their seats. Charlotte felt a

few drops of rain on her head and looked up to see the threatening clouds

and in the distance--a flash of lightning. Just then, the Gryffindor and

Hufflepuff teams came onto the field. The captains shook hands and with a

blow of the whistle, all 14 players kicked off the ground and the game began.


Charlotte cheered on the Gryffindor chasers as they attemped to score

against the increasingly moody weather. Every few moments, she would

search the skies for Harry who hadn't found the Snitch yet and seemed to be

having a difficult time flying in the rain despite Hermione's water repellant

spell on his glasses. Suddenly, Charlotte felt a wave of cold sweep over her

and looking up, she saw the mute dementors glide over the spectators and

onto the field. The girls clung onto each other in fear as both Liam and Ron

looked on in silence. Professor Dumbledore made his way onto the field

looking furious.


"This is unreal." Charlotte said breathlessly and the rest nodded in

agreement. The Quidditch playeres had made it to the ground and were

huddled around Madam Hooch-- all the players save one. "Where's Harry?"

Hermione asked as she searched the group. "There!" gasped Ginny pointing to

a body that was plummeting to the ground. Professor Dumbledore turned

around and with a wave of his arm, Harry's unconscious body floated down

the last 100 feet. Charlotte, Liam, Ginny, Hermione, and Ron pushed forward

to get a better view and Harry was already being put on a stretcher and

brought to the hospital wing. "C'mon." Ron said and the others followed him

out of the stands.

ooc: this is the first part though it was supposed to be two i'm working on the second part as we speak and it should be done fairly soon.

Wow!!! Sorry ive just court up with the last chapters, been busy. Lol!!!

Wow!!!! i love the story, considering the thrid book is my favourite one.

Chapter Nine Part Two: The Hospital Wing

They all gathered around Harry's bed along with the rest of the Gryffindor

Quidditch team.


"Right scary that was...first the dementors, now this." Liam said with a shake

of his head. "Good thing Dumbledore charmed him." Hermione replied as she

hugged Ginny and Charlotte whose eyes had begun to shine with tears. Next

to Harry's bed lay his faithful Nimbus 2000, now a bundle of twigs and

splinters. Professor Lupin had gathered it from the edge of the Forbidden

Forest where it had flown into the Whomping Willow. They all jumped as

Harry slowly opened his eyes and looked suspiciously around at them. "Wh-

what happened?" he stammered as he straightened up in his bed.


"Dementors." murmured Charlotte as she kneeled down beside Harry. "They

came out of nowhere...Dumbledore was furious and then we kinda just saw

you fall." she continued. Ginny put a firm hand on Charlotte's shoulder in a

comforting notion as the latter let a few tears slide down her face, more in

relief that Harry was alive than in sadness.


There was a few moments of silence until Harry came to a

realization, "Where's my broom?" he asked looking around at his friends. Liam

picked up the broom, "I'm really sorry mate." he said as he place the bundle

by Harry's feet. "But look on the bright side, at least you didn't turn out as

bad as your broom." Harry's blanched face broke into a weak grin. He then

said to his friends, "Well I think I'm gonna try to get some sleep now

otherwise Madam Pomfrey will keep me here until Christmas." and without

another word, he shifted into a more comfortable position and closed his

eyes, a relazed expression across his face. The five friends along with the

Gryffindor Quidditch team, returned to the Common Room where the rest of

the Gryffindor House was waiting anxiously. "He's allright." Hermione

reassured everyone and they all began to murmur amongst themselves.

Hermione, Ginny, and Charlotte said goodnight to the boys and headed up to

the Girls' Dormitory to have a little chat...



I know it's short but i promise to have a really long post next time that you'll all enjoy!!

Im glad Harry is alright too, and his poor broom...

Chapter 10-A Surprise in Store

Charlotte layed on her bed, scooping up Tinker Belle in her arms as the kitten purred contently. She looked over at Hermione who was looking thoughtfully out the window. Hermione turned to face her two friends and said, "We've had some awfully strange things happen recently. First the whole thing with Charlie and Malfoy, then Sirius Black trying to get into the Common Room, and now Dementors going where they shouldn't...it's all just strange." She sat next to Ginny on her and crossed her arms with a worried look on her face. Ginny gave Hermione a comforting rub on the back and the three sat in silence all except for the steady purring of Tinker Belle. "Well I don't know what to make of Charlie, personally." Charlotte said as she gently placed Tink on the comforter of her bed and began to play with her locket. "One minute he's inseparable with Malfoy, like Ron is with Harry, and the next he's protecting me. I'm not sure whether or not to trust him." "Oh c'mon Lottie! We all know how infatuated you are with Charlie. Every Potions class you stare at him like the boys do food!" Hermione teased. Ginny laughed and Charlotte blushed, "I do not Hermione! I'm too busy working my **** off trying to get a good greade which Malfoy always gets the credit for." Charlotte retorted. "Oh please, don't kid yourself!" Ginny replied with another laugh. "Every time we walk past Malfoy and Charlie, and their little posse, your little charm thing there brightens up." she continued pointing at Charlotte's throat. Charlotte reached instinctively for the charm on the black velvet band around her neck. 'But it could never be...' she thought to herself with a sigh. As if reading her mind, Hermione slipped off her own bed and went to hold Charlotte's hands in hers. "We'll find a way to make him realize the mistake he's made of choosing Malfoy as a friend." Charlotte looked over at Ginny who nodded in agreement and joined the others on Charlotte's bed. Charlotte smiled and hugged bother of her dear friends. "Thanks you guys! But right now I think we need to be more worried about Harry."

Charlotte's statement was correct because that very night, she was woken up by Hemone who had a frightened look on her face. "Lottie, we've got to go down to the Common Room. Professor McGonagall has to announce something." "Well why does she have to do it at 2 in the morning?" Charlotte asked sleepily as she slowly make it out of her bed. "It's about Sirius Black." Hermione replied as they made thier way down the stairs.

When they got to the Common Room, Charlotte saw the rest of Gryffindor House encircled around Professor McGonagall who had a grim expression on her face. Charlotte and Hermione went to stand with Ginny, Liam, Ron and Harry and Charlotte noticed that the boys looked the palest of all. "You guys look like you've seen a ghost." she murmured. "Almost turned into one myself, seeing as Sirius Balck tried to kill me." Ron replied with sheer fear in his eyes.

So I had a little time just to write yesterday ((I was supposed to be studying for finals but I got bored )) so I wrote two chapters!! Hope you enjoy!!

Ch. Ten Part II
Charlotte gasped and looked over at LIam who nedded and said, "Wasn't quite sure what had happened...I

woke up to Ron yelping, thought he was having a dream about spiders or something--" Ron glared at him

reproachfully, "and when I rolled over to tell him to shove off, I saw him..." and Liam gave a

shudder. "Well I'm glad you're all allright." Hermione said as Professor McGonagall cleared her throat and all

the students quieted down. "Now as you all know, Sirius Black got into Gryffindor Tower. Our painting

substitute, Sir Cadogan, has informed me that Black gave him the correct password and I want to know by

whom." she said as she held up a crupled up piece of paper that must've said the password of the week

((En garde!)) Silence fell over the Common Room as the students looked at each other to see who would

step up. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Neville Longbottom, a very forgetful third year, walk doefully

forward and looking down at his feet he muttered, "That's mine, Professor. It must've slipped out of my

pocket when I was coming back from dinner."


"That was completely irresponsible of you Longbottom and punishment will be decided. Everyone can go to

bed except for the following:Mr. Potter, Ms. Granger, Mr. and Ms. Weasely, and Mr. and Ms. Gates. The

rest of you, carry on." The six friends watched as the others began to walk up the stairs and back to bed.

Fred and George Weasley tried to hang back to hear what was to be said, but Professor McGonagall glared

at them, nostrils flared, they scurried up the stairs and out of sight. Charlotte turned her head to look at

Professor McGonagall who said, "Now, this little break in surprised all of us including Professor Dumbledore.

In light of these circumstances, both the Headmaster and I agree that Harry should never be left

unaccompanied." She turned to Ron, Liam, Hermione, Ginny and Charlotte as if Harry wasn't there at

all. "You five have got to work out a way where at least one of you has Harry in sight. Strength in

numbers." She then looked over at Harry saying, "and Poter, try not to do anything stupid." Harry jerked his

head slightly and McGonagall sighed and said, "Right, well you'd better get off to bed then...see you all in

the morning." and she walked out of the Common Room. Charotte then looked over at Harry who still had a

very blank sare on his face. "Well, better get to bed..." Ginny said breaking the silence. "Yeah, com on

Harry, Liam let's get goin'." Ron chimed in and he and Liam began to lead Harry up the stairs. Charlotte and

Hermione looked at each other and Charlotte noticed her friend's eyes swimming with tears. "I d-don't know

what I w-would've done if Ro-anyone had been hurt tonight." Hermione stammered. "Hermione is there

something you want to tell me about Ron?" Charlotte asked. Hermione quickly answered, "What? No of

course not! We're friends!" Her face reddened slightly. Charlotte raised an eyebrow and replied, "Allright

then...better ge getting to bed then." and she led the way back to her warm cozy bed in the Girls'

Dormitory.

Ch. 11- A Lesson with A Boggart

It was the last week before the second trip to Hogsmeade and all the older students were abuzz with excitement as they made their way to various classes. For the third year Gryffindors and Slytherins, that lesson was Defense Against the Dark Arts. Charlotte, Lavender Brown, and Parvarti Patil walked in excitedly talking about what they were going to buy everyone for Christmas while Liam, Ron, and Harry were arguing about which Quidditch team was the best. They all stopped and looked around in confusion becasue insted of the rows of desks and chairs that were usually there, stood a lone cabinet that was shaking vaguely and Professor Lupin humming along to a song that was playing in the background. He glanced up from a piece of parchent he had been reading and while clasping his hands together said, "I will ask you to leave your things in the back of the classroom but keep you wands with you." The students all hurridely placed down their belongings and crowded around Professor Lupin whose back was facing the cabinet. "Now today we will be learning about boggarts. Can anyone tell me what a boggart looks like?" Out of nowhere, a familiar hand shot up and Hermione answered saying, "No one really knows because a boggart takes the shape of whatever the person fears the most." Charlotte looked over confusedly at Hermione who acted as if she hadn't come in late at all. "That is correct Ms. Granger, five points to Gryffindor. Now, the way to get rid of a boggart is by making it seem less frightening through laughter. Also we must say the incantation, "Riddikulus!" Quite fitting, yes--Now I'll need a volunteer..." Charlotte looked around the room and finally stepped forward. "Ah! Wonderful Ms. Gates now would you mind telling the others what your greatest fear is?"
"Clowns..." Charlotte muttered looking down at her feet. "I'm sorry I didn't quite here that." Professor Lupin responded cupping a hand to his ear. "Err...clowns!" Charlotte said a little louder as her face reddened a little and she heard a few people laugh. "Now, now I'm sure Ms. Gates wouldn't laugh at your fear...Please step forward and ready yourself." Professor Lupin said as he edged toward the cabinet door. Charlotte raised her wand and took a deep breath as Lupin opened the door and out stepped a clown who came towards Charlotte with a too-happy expression on its face. "Riddikulus!" she exclaimed and a pie appeared out of nowhere and sped right into the clown's face.
The rest of the class butrst into laughter which Charlotted joined half-heartedly as Professor Lupin clapped his hands in delight and said, "Excellent Ms. Gates! Well Done! Now everyone form an orderly line and we'll continue." Charlotte made her way to the back of the line as Liam took his turn. The pie covered clown turned into an angry shark that circled around Liam. He gupled and yelled, "Riddikulus!" and the shark turned into a pink pony pool toy. Charlotte grinned with admiraion and she gave her brother a hug as he joined her in the back of the line. They watched first in fear and then in delight as one by one thier fellow classmastes worked with the boggart. Ron's fear was spiders and it took him several times to make it have rollerblades at the end of its long legs. Hermione's fear was one of the favorites. Professor McGonagall told her she failed her final exam. She was on the verge of tears before she was able to muster up the courage to do the spell which caused Boggart-McGonagall to start singing opera.
Then it cane time for Harry and Charlotte, Liam, Hermione and Ron stood tentatively wondering wat exactly Harry actually feared most. They all felt a sudden chill in the air as if an actual dementor had appeared in their midst. Charlotted could feel her heart hammering away in her chest and she and the others watched in horror as Harry, who was too shocked to move staggered backwards witha dazed look on his face. Professor Lupin stepped in front of Harry and the boggart stopped, perplexed with the new encounter. It morphed into the shape of a full moon, an image that purely confused all the students present. Charlotte turned to look at the others who all had mesmerized looks on thier faces to notice anything. Professor Lupin quickly turned the Boggart-Moon into a balloon and sent it back into the depths of the cabinet. Without another hesitation, he quickly dismissed the class saying,"Yes I do believe that this is enought excitement for one day. Please collect your things at the back of the classroom and I will see you all tomorrow." The others groaned as they headed to the back and out into the hallway. Charlotte and her friends glanced fleetingly over at Professor Lupin who gave them a quick smile before shooing them out of the classroom. Harry who was still a little pale in the face was helped along by Ron and Liam as Hermione and Charlotte struggeld with carrying his things.
Word of Harry's worst fear had spread throughout the entire school by dinnertime because when the third year Gryffindors sat down for a meal in the Great Hall, Draco and his Slytherin friends continually annoyed Harry about the incident while countless students were staring at him. Liam and Ron restrained themselves from pummeling the Slytherins while Harry sat there glumly. After dinner, they all headed up to the Common Room. Charlotte tried to make Harry feel better by saying, "Cheer up Harry! We get to see Hagrid tomorrow!" "You're right Lottie, that makes me feel a great deal better." Harry replied with a wide grin as they all started on the mounds of homework they had been assigned.
