Heyy there! My name is Emma and I have had a number of stories here on SS. And now since it is summer vacation , I have the chance to write another story. This story is a Romance Story. And it deals with James Potter (Harry’s son) and Victoire Weasley as well as the other children. Now this story takes place during their fifth year at Hogwarts... A nice little jump to when all are old enough to understand love.
But no matter how much they care for one another…James doesn’t dare to ask Victoire out for one main reason…his best mate Teddy Lupin loves her as well.
Victoire, whom is just as attractive as her mother, doesn’t bother with boys until she realizes James is one heck of a guy…but she has also fallen for Teddy. Victoire becomes confused and confines in her best friend Lily Potter to help her out. Also Lily and Albus are having love hit them for the first time as well…
There will be a lot of falling in love, heart breaks, first kisses, and dating in this story revolving around the next generation of Hogwarts students.

*There will also be some action in this story…yes…there is going to be dark times in this story…

Chapter One:

“James Potter you get up right now!” Ginny snapped as she forced her oldest son out of bed.

“Mum! Its barely nine!” James mumbled as he got up from bed.

“Your just like your father” Ginny smiled as she messed up her sons hair even more.

James smiled… “Yeah I’ve been told I’ve gotten his good looks”.

“By who?” Ginny questioned.

“Oh well there was Jessica, Victoria, Isabel…”

Ginny looked at her son in shock.

“I’m only kidding mum!” James said throwing his hands up in defeat.

“Yeah you better be! Now hurry up and get dressed! Remember the Hogwarts Express leaves at exactly 11”.

“Have you woken up Lily or Albus?” James asked pulling on some pants.

“Yes she has” Lily smiled brightly as she entered her brothers room and sat on the bed.

“Oh god…” James said looking at Lily.

“What?” Both Ginny and Lily asked.

“I’ve just noticed how pretty you are…darn it! And you’re a year older this year so I cant keep boys away from you for much longer can I?” James said.

Lily rolled her eyes. “I think boys are terrified of me thanks to you!”

“If your talking about the incident with Jacob he had it coming…” James snapped.

“Jacob?” Ginny asked eyeing her daughter.

“He’s just a friend,” Lily answered.

James laughed. “Yeah a friend who likes to suck off her face!”

Lily got up and tried to wrestle her brother down to the floor. James however being the oldest and having just finished working out over the summer was stronger and picked Lily up and threw her on the bed.

“Ay you kids…” Ginny sighed. “Hurry up will you”.

Once Ginny left Lily got up and yelled, “I hate you James Potter!”

“I love you too Lily” James smiled pulling on a shirt and then kissing his baby sister on the forehead.

Lily couldn’t help but smile.

James exited the room and automatically ran into his brother Albus.

“Good morning brother…ready for another year at Hogwarts?” James asked.

“Of course” Albus smiled. “Can’t wait to see what pranks we’ve got in store”.

“The only prank being played will be on you two if you boys get caught and expelled” Harry James Potter laughed as he descended the stairs.

“Awe Dad come on! McGonagall loves us to much to get rid of us” Albus smiled.

Harry smiled, “I suppose your right…she always did save me from getting into a lot of trouble…especially in my fifth year with that Umbridge witch.”

“Boys hurry it up will you” Ginny said. “Its already 10…we are about to leave so get your things together”.

“Your mothers right…hurry it up…and help your sister” Harry said.

“Dad she’s old enough to carry her own luggage now!” Albus argued.

“Oh stop whining will you” Lily snapped as she came downstairs. “I’ve got it dad…” Lily said pulling out her wand.

Harry grabbed his daughters hand and said, “Unless you plan to graduate from Hogwarts I suggest you put your wand away…no underage magic…”

Lily frowned. “Fine”.

At around 10:15 everyone was unloading their luggage at King’s Cross Station.

“I love being able to do side along apparition” Ginny smiled as they entered the station.

“Me too” Harry laughed. “All right Lily go on with your mother”.

Lily grabbed a hold of her mothers hand and said, “I hate running through walls…”

Ginny laughed, “At least you haven’t crashed into one like your father”.

Lily laughed.

Soon both girls vanished.

“All right Albus…then James…” Harry said.

Albus readied himself and was soon gone.

James was about to follow when he saw his father talking to a pretty young woman in Ministry clothing.
He saw his father nod and the women vanished. Harry walked up to James and said, “Come on James we haven’t got all day”.

“Okay…but who was that?” James asked.

“Who? Oh you mean Miss she’s too old for you now hurry up?” Harry smiled.

James smirked and said, “Fine…”

Soon Harry and James appeared on Platform 9 and 3/4.

Ginny appeared and said, “I’ve got Lily and Albus on board already…James get on”.

“Sure…bye mum” James said kissing his mother good-bye.

“Ill go with you James…I’ve got to say bye to your brother and sister” Harry said. “I’ll be back Gin”.

“Why are you really coming along?” James asked.

“Because I’m going to tell you you’re in charge of your brother and sister…keep Lily away from the boys and Albus out of trouble.” Harry said.

“I think it’s to late for Lily” James winked.

“Ha ha James…now get on…I expect good O.W.L scores!”

James looked out the window. “I have to take those this year!”

Harry nodded. And soon the train was gone…taking James, Lily, and Albus to another year at Hogwarts.

“They’ll be fine” Ginny smiled.

“I hope so…” Harry said rubbing his scar, which had not bugged him for an entire twenty-five years, until today.

Here is chapter two...

Chapter Two:

“James go away!” Lily snapped as she dragged her luggage into an empty compartment.

“You sound just like mother” James smirked. “And no…Dad told me to watch after you”.

“Ugh! When is daddy going to learn that I’m not a little girl anymore!”

“Oh shut up!” Albus said entering the compartment. “You act like his little girl all the time in order to get what you want!”

Lily opened her mouth to argue but couldn’t find anything to say, he was right.

“James aren’t you a prefect?” Albus asked sitting down and taking out his chess set.

James jumped from his seat and said, “Darn it!” and ran out of the compartment.

Lily giggled.

After James left a pretty young girl reopened the compartment door. She had long silvery blond hair that practically shined. Her body also seemed to emit a silvery glow…she looked like the smaller version of Fleur Delacour.

“Victoire!” Lily smiled jumping from her seat to hug her best friend.

“Hello Lily…Hi Albus” Victoire smiled.

Albus smiled back trying not to laugh. He knew how fond his brother James was for Victoire no matter how much he denied it.

“How was your summer?” Lily asked Victoire as they settled down.

“It was wonderful! I went to France to visit my grandparents and then I spent the other half of the summer at the Burrow” Victoire smiled. “How was yours?”

“Mine? It was okay. I had these two guys to entertain me…” Lily laughed pointing at Albus. “James is on prefect duty”.

“He is a prefect?” Victoire asked.

“Yup…shocker isn’t it?” Albus laughed.

“Albus just because you’re jealous of…” Lily began.

“Kind of…” Victoire answered.

Lily looked at Victoire and Victoire said, “Well James is just like your father and Harry never made prefect did he?”

“I guess it is a shocker then…” Lily laughed.

The entire train ride was full of giggling and gossip produced from the two girls. Albus ended up leaving to go with some friends.

Soon everyone was dressed in their robes ready to exit the train. Lily and Victoire were one of the first to get off the train.

“Hello James” Lily smiled up at her brother as he held open the train door.

“Hey Lil…Victoire!” James said surprised.

“Hello James Potter” Victoire laughed walking past him to follow Lily.

“Will you stop drooling Potter!” someone snapped.

James turned around to set his eyes upon Scorpius Malfoy.

James scowled and said, “What do you want Malfoy!?”

“I was just wondering why you even bother with the girl…” Malfoy smirked, “she’s way out of your league”.

James took out his wand, “I think your mistaking me for yourself Malfoy…but I don’t see how? I’m not an annoying git who gets into everyone’s business!”

Malfoy scowled and walked away making sure to bump into James as hard as he could.

James smirked.

“Just like your father…” said a voice.

James turned and came face to face with Teddy Lupin.

James smiled, “I try”.

“Load up the carriages come on now! We haven’t got all night!” Hagrid could be heard telling all the older students before he set off with the first years.

James and Ted waved at Hagrid who waved back and they both boarded a carriage.

Lily and Victoire had boarded a carriage along with Albus and Hugo Weasley.

“Where’s Rose?” Lily asked Hugo.

Hugo shrugged, “Probably with her giggly friends”.

Lily and Victoire laughed and Albus smiled. It had started to rain outside and the carriages were barely arriving to the castle when the rain started to pour down upon them.
Everyone was soaking wet. James, whose job was to get everyone inside, was surprised the great oak doors had not opened yet.

“What’s going on?” Teddy asked as the rain continued to fall. “Why aren’t we allowed inside?”

James shrugged. “I don’t know…it’s strange”.

“James!” Lily yelled. “Why are we all outside! The first years are arriving as well!”

James walked up the stairs and pushed open the doors…and there standing at the entrance was…

A little suspense for all you readers...hehe...I hope you enjoyed.

Chapter Three:

“What are you doing here!?” James asked as he stared straight into his fathers face.

“Its security protection James” Harry muttered as he walked past James and went over to Hagrid.

James motioned for everyone to step inside. As everyone went in James followed his dad.

“Security protection from what?” James asked.

Harry turned to look at his son. “James I’m going to tell you but you must not worry you brother and sister”.

James nodded.

Harry sighed. “We got word at the Ministry that Death Eaters are at large again. And… we can’t have them attack the school. McGonagall asked me if we could station some Aurors here on Hogwarts grounds just in case.”

James was in shock. “But…But…Voldemorts dead! You killed him!”

Harry looked down at his son. “I know that James. But that does not stop any of his followers from following in his footsteps now does it?”

James sighed. It was still raining. And him and his father were soaked.

Harry patted his son on the back. “Everything’s going to be okay. We just have to stop the problem before it gets too big. Go on inside now”.

James went inside and was immediately tackled by Lily and Albus.

“What happened?” they both asked.

James looked at them both and muttered, “Nothing”.

But the two children as well as everyone else did not have to wait that long for information on why there were Aurors guarding the school. Professor McGonagall announced the reason why at the end of the feast.

“All students must listen to any instructions they are given by any Auror…it is for your own safety so I’d consider you stupid if you went off ignoring them. Death Eaters are not friendly people.” McGonagall said.

“It sucks that you have to have your dad here” Hugo told Albus as they exited the Great Hall and headed to their common room.

Albus smiled. “I actually don’t mind…”

Hugo looked surprised, “Really?”

“Nope” Albus said. “Uncle Ron is here too”.
Albus pointed towards the school entrance and there indeed was Ronald Weasley talking to Harry.

Hugo frowned.

Rose Weasley was walking right behind Hugo and Albus.

“Oh great” Rose sighed. But her frown was turned upside down when a boy named Jack complimented Rose.

“You look very beautiful this year Rose…Summer did you good” Jack smiled. Jack was a tall boy with blonde hair and blue eyes. He seemed perfect.

Rose smiled and said, “Thank you Jack”.

“Shall I walk you up to your common room?” Jack asked.

“I’d love that” Rose smiled even more widely.

Ron who was a few feet away overheard their conversation and said, “The only thing you’ll be walking is yourself out of this school if you don’t get away from my daughter”.

Jack couldn’t help but smile. “Sorry sir I was just offering as a friend. See you later Rose” Jack said waving good-bye.

Rose waved back but immediately rounded on her father.

“Dad would you mind minding your own business!?” Rose whined.

“Not as long as I’m here Rose Weasley” Ron said.

“But Uncle Harry is here and yet Lily is chatting up all the boys here!” Rose snapped.

Harry, who was leaning against the wall watching Ron and Rose, nearly lost balance.

“What!?” Harry asked.

Rose realized what she just said and said, “Nothing Uncle Harry. Good night daddy!” And with that Rose hurried off.

Ron laughed at Harry expression. “Calm down mate…they grow up” Ron laughed.

“Shut up!” Harry smiled for that was exactly what he had told Ron a few minutes before when he had seen Rose with Jack.

“Now that I think of it…I haven’t seen Lily…I’ve seen Hugo and Albus. Rose just passed by…I haven’t seen Lily or Teddy or…” Ron said but Harry finished his sentence.

“James and Victoire”.

“Yeah” Ron said.

“Lets split up” Harry smirked. “Ill look for Lily and James and you look for Victoire and Teddy”.

“You got it mate” Ron smiled.

Twenty minutes later Ron and Harry found each other and Ron said, “Victoire and Teddy were flirting up a storm! I sent Teddy on his merry little way and I escorted Victoire to the Ravenclaw tower.”

Harry laughed. “Teddy has good taste! I found Lily with Rose. When they saw me they ran off... little brats. And I haven’t found James at all”.

“Wonder where he could be?” Ron asked.

James wandered the seventh floor under his father’s invisibility cloak. He was waiting for her to show up.

“James?” Victoire asked as she looked around.

“Right here” James said as he took off the cloak.

“What did you want to see me for?” Victoire asked.

“I…” James started but was stopped but Teddy.

“James we have to get inside…Harry’s patrolling the sixth floor!”

“But I cant send Victoire back alone” James whispered.

“Ill take her” Teddy offered.

Before James could object Teddy and Victoire were turning the corner at the end of the hall.

“Are you serious?” James scowled realizing Teddy liked Victoire as well.

This was going to get complicated.

“This is not going to become a love triangle” James snapped the next morning as he and Teddy were getting ready for class.

“Then get out of the triangle!” Teddy snapped back.

“I liked her first!” James yelled.

“She’s not a trophy Potter!” Teddy snapped before stomping off.

James was furious. How could his best friend do this to him?

“James whats wrong with Teddy?” Lily asked as she waited for her brother to walk her to class.

“He’s a git that’s what’s wrong” James said.

Lily frowned. “The school year has barely started and you two are already fighting over a girl?”

James stopped walking and said, “You know I think you can walk yourself to class now”. James walked off.

Lily stood there shocked. Her brother had never been mean to her. Albus was understandable but James?

Lily walked to class alone but ran into her Uncle Ron on the way.

“Hey Lily” Ron smiled.

“Hello Uncle Ron” Lily smiled back. “Hey can I ask you something?”

“Fire away Lils” Ron said kneeling down to be face to face with Lily.

Lily smiled and whispered, “Why do boys have to be such jerks over girls? They ruin a perfectly good friendship over a girl!”

Ron laughed. “And may I ask who your talking about?”

“James and Teddy” Lily said.

“Who are they fighting over?”

“Victoire” Lily scowled. “She’s my best friend but if she’s going to turn my brother in to a jerk then forget it!”

“Ill talk to James and Teddy okay Lily” Ron smiled.

“Okay” Lily said.

“Now get to class” Ron smirked.

Lily headed towards her class when Ron called her.
Lily turned and Ron said, “Stay away from boys, they have cooties!”

Lily smiled and rolled her eyes. She entered her DADA class.

Oh and as a quick note: James and Victoire are NOT related in this story.

This is great! I love it! Thank you so much for adding this chapter!! I would hate it if my dad was at my school! They'd never leave you alone!! It would be really frustrating!!!
