Lost In Love . . . Credit goes to lockupkid on FA for the plotline. Chapter One That wasn’t . . . no, it wasn’t . . . was it? No, it couldn’t be! These were just some of the thoughts going through Severus Snape’s brain as he saw Lily Evans kissing a distant figure. He could tell, even from this side of the lake, who it was. That messy black hair was distinguishable anywhere. That snitch fluttering above his head . . . oh, how Severus wanted to take hold of it and break it into a thousand pieces! Fuming, he turned away, thick, long hair fanning in the gentle wind. He bit his tongue, trying desperately not to say the words he wanted to say out loud. If he did, he knew he’d be in bother with the professor standing nearby. Still, it didn’t stop him from being quite rude in his mind. It wasn’t until he heard Lily come up behind him he pretended not to have seen anything as he leant against the tree. As she tapped his shoulder and called his name, he moaned inside. ‘Sev!’ she called, but for some reason Severus found himself unable to turn to face her. ‘Sev! Sev!’ It was with a start that Severus woke up, sweat trickling down his forehead. He was lying on the floor in the dark; nobody had bothered lighting any candles, but he could hear people laughing. It was around that time he became aware he was sitting in something wet. ‘Hey, look! Snivellus went and wet himself!’ roared a voice that Severus recognised to be Macnair’s voice. He growled, and pulled himself up using the bed to his right. Once he was stood, he realised that somebody had, in fact, split the jar of water that was kept in each dorm. They’d probably done it on purpose, to embarrass him. Who didn’t? Everyone loved to embarrass him. Apart from Lily. She was the only person who’d stood up for him, and refused to embarrass him. Making his way to his trunk, Severus pushed past his fellow sixth year Slytherins. They sneered at him, before making their way back to their own beds. As he fumbled inside his trunk to get a fresh pair of nightclothes, he caught Macnair signalling to Walden in the bed opposite him. He shook his head, ignoring it as he pulled out fresh clothes. It wasn’t until he glanced at his clock he realised it was half past six in the morning. He sighed, replacing the nightclothes and grabbing his robes. The sixth year wasn’t looking forward to double Transfiguration, but the double Potions in the afternoon was the highlight of his day. ^^^ ‘Hey, Severus!’ called a female voice, and Severus turned to see Lily run up to him, auburn hair reflecting the sun, dazzling Severus as she threw her arms around him. ‘Have you heard?’ Frowning, Severus shook his head. ‘Heard what?’ he queried, pulling away from her. Lily couldn’t help but smile, her emerald eyes laughing. Severus couldn’t help but feel even more attracted to her when she was in moods like this, where her happiness made her look even more beautiful than before. ‘About James and I!’ Lily laughed, and Severus immediately remembered his dream from the night before, and the humility that had followed. The other boys had told him that he’d been crying her name during the dream, before falling out of bed and into the puddle one of them had put there. ‘P – Potter?’ ‘Yes! We’re going out!’ Hey guys! I'm Brooke, and this is my third FF on SS! It's a seVans ship, as you can probably tell by the first installment. This story will be updated by myself and my best friend Lena (emma_rlz). poor Severus!!!!
I know that Lily and James are supposed to be together but I can't help it
I FEEL SO BAD FOR HIM!
*jumps into the story and goes to beat up those mean Slytherins*
Its just the ones in the book by the way!
I think slytherins are cool
except when they mess with my sevy
then a smack down is given!
